HEAVEN IS A GENUINE PLACE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: HEAVEN IS A GENUINE PLACE

TEXT: Revelation 21:1-3 KJV
And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. [2] And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. [3] And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God.

A. A Real Place -
Heaven is a as real as this place we are in today! In fact, there are really three heavens! That's right!

Terrestrial Heaven -
This refers to the atmosphere of the earth and the air above us. Then,

Tellestial Heaven -
This is where the stars and the planets are.

Celestial Heaven -
This is the place where God lives. The place all the saints of God dream about.

This is the place we long to be. This is the place we call home!

It is a real place! Paul was taken there - 2 Cor. 12:2-4; John was taken there in his vision - Rev. 4:1-5:14. That heavenly land is as real as New York, Los Angeles, even as your town is also real. It is a real place where God lives, Who will be joined one day by those who are really saved. Heaven is real!

B. A Resting Place - Heb. 4:3-11 -

The Bible tells us that we are "pilgrims and strangers" in this world right now, Hebrews 11:13-16! When we enter the gates of that city, we will have laid down the burdens of this existence and gone to a place of peace and rest, a perfect place where burdens cannot follow and troubles cannot come. When we get there, we will be home! It is a place to rest from our labors, our cares, our worries, our trials, everything that hindered us here will not be welcome there! We will rest when we get home!

C. A Residing Place -

Heaven is a place where some being make their homes. The angels live in Heaven. In fact, every glimpse into that country features the presence of the angelic host.

God the Father dwells in Heaven, Psa. 11:4; Rev. 4:1-5:16. The redeemed of the ages will also live in Heaven with the Lord God. The night before Jesus went to the cross to die for the sin of the world, He gave His disciples a glorious promise. He told them that He was going to prepare a place for them: a mansion in His Father's house, John 14:1-3! When we arrive there, we will be home in a mansion prepared just for us by the precious Lord Jesus. We will be forever home!

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, I PRAY, AS THE LORD LIVE AND HIS SPIRIT LIVETH, ME AND YOU WILL NOT MISS THIS GLORIOUS HEAVEN IN JESUS NAME

Nude photos of our Apostle on Internet was blackmail — C&S Church

Recently naked photos of the 80year old Head Prophet of the
Cherubim and Seraphim, Idimu District in Alimosho Lagos State, Prophet
Timothy Adewoye, went viral alleging that he had sex with a
married woman who worshiped in his church. (I’m sure some of you saw the report)

Well, the national body of the Church, the Holy
Order of Cherubim & Seraphim Movement Church, has spoken out about the case, saying it was all an act of blackmail.

According
to one of the leaders in the church, Senior Apostle Abimbola Esuola,
the clergyman had gone to the house of the said married
woman to pray for her but was setup in the process. She said that 4 men
came into the house where he was praying for her and ordered him to take off his clothes after which pictures of him naked were taken. They
then decided to use the pictures to extort money from the
Prophet. Continue…

image_1
They first demanded for N10million but was able to get
N2million from him after much persuasion. They still continued
asking him for money and at a time threatened to kill him if he didn’t
provide the money being asked for.
Worried about the developments, the Clergyman spoke to his Secretary
about his predicament, who in company of other members of the church
proceeded to lay a complain at the Idimu Police station.

The police then
did their investigations and apprehended one Sherifat Baalogun who
already had a case of extortion with them and Makanjuola Olagunja.
Sherifat’s husband who was also found to be an accomplice in the
incident, is said to be on the run.
Sherifat and Makanjuola are currently being remanded in police
custody after an Ejigbo Magistrate, Mrs M.B Folami, heard their case and
ordered for them to be remanded until others involved in the case are produced.

What must I do to enjoy Divine Favour?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: What must I do to enjoy Divine Favour?

Every divine provision is only delivered by meeting divine terms.

1. Be born again; that is your visa to God’s covenant world of wonders - John 14:6 Jesus said, “I am the way …”
2. Walk in righteousness. Psa 5:12, For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
3. Be a promoter of the Kingdom. The number one way to secure the favour of God is to favour His Kingdom. Psalm 102:13-14.
4. Be kind; sow favour seeds. Jesus said blessed are the merciful … Pro 3:3, Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.
5. Prayer - be in talking terms with the One who bestows the favour. Psa 119:58, I intreated thy favour with my whole heart: be merciful unto me according to thy word.
6. Gratitude - when you stop seeing what God is doing, He stops doing anything at all.
7. Be in the right field. First, the favour came because Ruth was in the right field. She went to glean in the field of Boaz who was a kinsman of Naomi’s husband, Elimelech. Other people might have cast her away because of her background. The anointing - the yoke destroyer. To secure the anointing, you must be fulfilling God’s purpose for your life.

LET US PRAY
I prophecy that this is the time for your favour. enjoy it. I see favour opening fresh doors for you in Jesus name

Benefits of walking in Divine Favour

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Benefits of walking in Divine Favour

We, as God’s people, have the beautiful opportunity to walk in favour everyday of our lives: to see people go out of their way to bless us, to open doors for us, and yet, they do not know why. They know there’s something different about you, but they don’t know what.

Many, many times, favour has changed entirely hopeless situations into just the opposite.
Favour will bind broken hearts, mend troubled relationships, cause loved ones to open their minds and hearts to hear about Jesus. Favour grants promotions, gives raise, avoids lay-offs, pleases customers, works with the saved as well as the unsaved. Favour brings smiles to the faces of those who go out of their way to do nice things for you.

1. When FAVOUR is upon us, the works of our hands are confirmed! Psalm 90:17.
2. Favour will make a highflier of any dummy any day, anytime and anywhere. Ecclesiastes 9:11, Zechariah 4:6. It is not ability that brings FAVOUR!
3. Favour produces supernatural increase and promotion. Genesis 39:21.
4. Favour produces restoration of everything the enemy has stolen from you.
5. Favour produces honor in the midst of your adversaries. Exodus 11:3.
6. Favour produces increased assets in the material realm especially in the area of real estate. Deut 33:23, “And of Naphtali he said, O Naphtali, satisfied with favour, and full with the blessing of the LORD: possess thou the west and the south.” Psa 44:3
7. Favour produces the greatest victories you’ve ever known in the midst of impossible odds. Joshua 11:20.
8. Favour produces recognition even when you seem to be the least likely to receive it. 1 Samuel 16:22.
9. Favour produces prominence and preferential treatment. Esther 2:17.
10. Favour produces petitions granted even by ungodly civil authorities. Esther 5:2, 8.
11. Favour causes policies, rules, regulations, laws to be changed and reversed to your advantage. Esther 8:5.
12. Favour produces battles won which you won’t even have to fight because God will fight them for you. Psalm 44:3.
13. Favour protects you. Favour serves as a shield! Psalm 5:12
”…Thou dost surround him with favour as with a shield.”
It will keep you safe and shielded from the effects of evil. Even when bad things happen to you, God will use them for your good and His glory. Look at the life of Joseph.
14. Favour pacifies your enemies. It will even cause your opponents to be at peace with you.
15. Favour places the wealth of the wicked at your disposal. It will transfer the resources of evil or unsaved people to your stewardship or ownership. Exo 12:36, And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.
16. God’s favour is so powerful. It can turn a slave into an heir. Joseph, a slave boy became like the first son of Portiphar until he was wrongly imprisoned

LET US PRAY
MAY YOU CONTINUE TO ENJOY GODS DIVINE FAVOUR AS FROM NOW HENCEFORTH IN JESUS NAME

How to enjoy uncommon favour

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: How to enjoy uncommon favour

Uncommon means Unusual; remarkably great.

“Favour is the special affection of God toward you that releases an influence on you, so that others are inclined to like you, or to cooperate with you.”
The favour of God is what determines the limits of every man’s destiny.
Once you are favoured, you are made. Favour is the mother of destiny.

Favour is what converts labour into fortune. It enhances the value of your labour.
Apostle Paul said, I am what I am by the grace of God.
The limit of your destiny is defined by the level of favour operating in your life.

Your destiny is favour limited. So the more favour you enjoy the more glorious your destiny. Every man is limited by the level of favour he enjoys.

Psalm 102: 13: Thou shalt arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, is come.

Psa 102:14, For thy servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

Favour is important. Everyone needs favour. Jesus needed favour; He even had to grow in it. Luke 2: 52 tells us that Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man. The same was true of Samuel the prophet - 1Samuel 2: 26.

We live in times that the natural could get a person down. Men and women all over our country are being laid off or just living in the fear that they could be the next to go.

Perhaps you have your own business and you just never seem to make ends meet.
It seems that no one cares about you. I want you to know that favour can change that situation today in Jesus name

LET US PRAY,
THIS WEEK, MAY YOU ENCOUNTER GODS FAVOUR THAT WILL CHANGE THE STORY OF YOUR LIFE FOR BETTER IN JESUS NAME

SUSTAINING GOD’S FAVOUR

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SUSTAINING GOD’S FAVOUR

TEXTS: GEN. 39 : 2 – 6, 21

INTRODUCTION:
Provoking God’s favour is not the ultimate for a believer. The key thing is how do I as a believer sustain divine favour. What does it take to operate under perpetual divine favour.

Joseph is one biblical example that operate under continous favour of God. Even while he was in prison, he experienced the favour of God.

HOW DO I SUSTAIN DIVINE FAVOUR?

1. FAITHFULNESS: 1 Corth 4 : 2, Proverb 28 : 20
“Moreover it is required in stewards, that a man be found faithful”. 1 Corth 4 : 2

“A faithful man shall abound with blessings; but he that maketh haste to be rich shall not be innocent” Proverbs 28 : 20. Joseph faithfulness ensures his continuous favour. He said “How then can I do this great wickedness and sin against God? Gen 39 : 9

A faithful man, after God has blessed him will not miss his tithes. He will not forget about his service in the House of God.

2. REMAIN CONNECTED: Hosea 12 : 13
“And by a prophet the Lord brought Isreal out of Egypt, and by a prophet was he preserved”. Hosea 12 : 13

After God has blessed Joseph in a strange land, He did not forget his root. A branch that is cut off from a tree will die a natural death. When God blesses you don’t forget your root.

3. LIVE IN FORGIVENESS. Gen. 45 : 7
“And God sent me before you to preserve you a posterity in the earth and to save your lives by a great deliverance” Gen 45 : 7
Joseph despite all that his brethren did to him, even when he had opportunity to revenge, he did not”

David had several opportunities to avenge the wickedness of Saul to him but he refused. No wonder David also enjoyed continuous favour from God.

4. LIVE IN OBEDIENCE: Gen 2 : 22
Abraham enjoyed constant favour from God because; he lived a life of total obedience. Even after God has blessed him with a child after waiting many years, he obeyed God and offered the child for sacrifice.
Saul lost the throne despite God’s promise to his generation to sit on the throne forever due to disobedience.

5. BE JOYFUL Isaiah 12 : 3
Joseph did not complain for one day even despite the experiences he went through. He was so charming even as a slave that the madam of the house wanted to sleep with him. Even in prison, because he was full of joy he was made the head of other prisoners.

One way to enjoy constant favour from God is to always display Joy irrespective of what you are passing through.

“Therefore with joy shall ye draw water our of the wells of salvation” Isaiah 12 : 3

6. LIVE A LIFE OF THANKSGIVING
“Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving and make a joyful noise unto him with Psalms” Psalm 95 : 2

“Be careful for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your request be made known unto God’ Philippians 4 : 6

Brethren, it takes thanksgiving to provoke favour of God and it also takes thanksgiving to enoy continuous favour.

An adage says “When a child thanks an elder for yesterday’s blessing, he will definitely get another one.

Most Israelites died in the wilderness because they forgot the God that delivered them from Egypt and began to complain.

“And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord; and the Lord heard it and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the Lord burnt among them and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp. Numbers 11 : 1

Brethren, continuous favour from God requires a life of daily thanksgiving. A person of thanksgiving will not have any cause to complain or grumble. Anyone that complains will never experience God’s blessings.

LET US PRAY
TODAY, I PROPHECY GODS FAVOUR IN TO YOUR LIFE, THIS WEEK, YOU WILL BE HIGHLY FAVOUR BY GOD IN JESUS NAME

UNBELIEVABLE! GOVERNOR FASHOLA BANS MINI SKIRTS,TIGHT TROUSERS,SLEEVELESS GOWNS…

Governor Fashola of Lagos state has banned all form of indecent dressing among female public servants

The government warned that it would begin to take drastic and punitive measures against recalcitrant public servants who flout the directive.

HOW DO I PROVOKE GOD’S FAVOUR

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL
. . . continue from yesterday

TOPIC: HOW DO I PROVOKE GOD’S FAVOUR

As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated. What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid. For he said to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.

So then it is not of him that willeth, or of him that runneth but of God that sheweth mercy”. Romans 9 : 13 – 16.

Though God says he will show mercy or favour upon whom he will show mercy, it is possible to provoke God’s favour.

1. BY YOUR PRAYER

There is a type of prayer that provokes divine favour. This is the prayer that avails much. The Amplified Bible describes it as:
…..The earnest (heart felt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available (dynamic in its working) James 5 : 16

Hezekiah was sick unto death and God sent prophet Isaiah to inform him that he would surely die. Hezekiah’s prayer in Isiah 38 provoked God’s favour and He added 15 years to his life.

2. TRUSTING GOD

“Jesus said unto him, if thou can’t believe, all things are possible to him that believeth” Mark 9 : 23

We can provoke the favour of God by our faith and trust in Him. In Luke 8 : 43 - 48, The woman with the issue of blood experienced the favour of God because of her level of faith.

3. THE POWER OF PRAISE AND THANKSGIVING

Praise is a powerful tool in provoking God’s divine favour. “But thou art holy, thou that inhabitatest the praises of Israel” Psalm 22 : 3

A person of praise will steer clear of murmuring. When you murmur, you limit God and favour will be far from you.

“And when the people complained, it displeased the Lord and the Lord heard it and his anger was kindled, and the fire of the Lord burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp”. Numbers 11 : 1

Paul and Silas experienced the favour of God in prison in the process of praising God. Acts 16: 25 – 26.

In Marks 6 : 21 – 23. Herod’s daughter had danced before Herod. He was so pleased with her dance that he told her to ask him for anything she desired, even to the half of his kingdom. Favour was released as a result of her dance.

“Enter into his gates with thanksgiving and into his counts with praise; be thankful unto him and bless his name’ Psalm 100 : 4

4. SHOWING FAVOUR

“Blessed are the merciful; for they shall obtain mercy” Mathew 5 : 7 Brethren, the level of favour you enjoy is a function of the level to which you favour others. The law of seedtime and harvest controls the issue of favour. Do you want to walk in favour? Then be a person of favour.

In the book, Esther (2 : 21 – 22) Mordeci got wind of a plan to kill king Ashasuerus and leaked it, thereby spairing the king’s life. A time came when Mordecai was also to be killed, but his earlier seed of favour will not allow it. See Esther 6 : 1 – 3.

5. YOUR CONFESSION

Your mouth is a weapon of authority ordained by God to keep you in perfect dominion. If you say positive things based on the word of God in your heart, you will get positive results. Favour moves in the direction of those that say favourable things.

“Death and life are in the power of the tongue and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof” Proverbs 18 : 21

6. YOUR GIFTS

“ A man’s gift maketh room for him and bringeth him before great men” Proverb 18 : 16

There are three areas your gift can provoke the favour of God.

(a) Prophet Offering
The widow of Zarephath and the Shunamite woman enjoyed divine favour by reason of what they gave to the prophet. (1Kings: 17 : 10 – 24 and 2Kings 4 : 1 – 37).

(b) Giving To The Poor
When you give to the needy, you can provoke the favour of God. “He that hath pity upon the poor lendeth unto the Lord; and that which he hath given will he pay him again” Proverbs 19 : 17.

(c) Giving To Your Parents
“Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise) that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” Eph. 6 : 2 – 3

Your gift to your parents irrespective of their wealth or wickedness will provoke the favour of God.

7. BEING KINGDOM FOCUS

“But seek yee first the kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added unto you” Mathew 6 : 33

There are two ways:

1. Soul wining: Mathew 28 : 19 – 20
Your pratical involvement with God in His purpose for reeping the over-ripe harvest of souls guarantees His divine favour.
2. Sacrifices: Sacrificial giving towards God’s kingdom or business is trigger for divine favour.
In second Chronicles Chapter 1 verses 6 – 7; Solomon offered a thousand burnt offering and God gave him a blank cheque which signifies unusual favour.

. . . CONTINUE TOMORROW

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS, BE PLEASE TO FAVOUR US TODAY BY YOUR MERCY IN JESUS NAME AMEN

PROVOKING DIVINE FAVOUR

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PROVOKING DIVINE FAVOUR

TEXT: EXODUS 3 : 21, EXODUS 12: 35 – 36

WHAT IS FAVOUR?
According to Merriam-webster on line dictionary favour can be defined as:

(a) Friendly regard shown towards another especially by a superior.
(b) Gracious kindness
(c) A special privilege or right granted or conceded
(d) Something done or granted out of goodwill, rather than from justice or for remuneration.
(e) Excessive kindness or unfair partiality or preferential treatment.

People often say Grace makes a man function without struggle while favour makes a man receive without asking. But one of the ways God shows His goodness to people is through divine favour.

This is exactly what Israelites experienced in Egypt according to our texts.

“And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians; and it shall come to pass but, when ye go, ye shall not go empty” Exodus 3 : 21

“And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians Jewels of silver, and jewels of gold and raiment: And the Lord gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians” Exodus 12 : 35 – 36

You Don’t Have to Be Big to Make a Big Impact

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: You Don’t Have to Be Big to Make a Big Impact

And after this there arose war with the Philistines at Gezer. Then Sibbecai the Hushathite struck down Sippai, who was one of the descendants of the giants, and the Philistines were subdued. ~ I Chronicles 20:4

READING: I Chronicles 20:4-8

Today’s passage shows us that you don’t have to be a David or even a Goliath to make a big impact. Like David, the giant killers listed in I Chronicles 20 were normal-sized men. But they took on giants and won! Sibbecai, Elhanan, and Jonathan the son of Shimea don’t get as much press as King David, but they, too, were giant killers.

The wonderful truth is that all of us can be giant killers for the Kingdom if we step out in faith to multiply. You don’t have to have a mega power to make a mega-impact.

All you need is Jesus, the Bible says, Philippians 4:13 KJV
I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

There are land to cover, there are mile to walk, there are gaol to catch, please don't be weary in the spirit, the Bible says Proverbs 24:10 KJV
If thou faint in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

Stop looking for mans help and stop depending on your power and wisdom they can't help but to only fail you, that is why the psalmist says in Psalm 121:1-8 KJV
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help. [2] My help cometh from the Lord , which made heaven and earth. [3] He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. [4] Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep. [5] The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand. [6] The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night. [7] The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul. [8] The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.

LET US PRAY
FATHER LORD, GIVE US YOUR POWER TO DO UNIMAGINABLE AND AMAZING THING TO THE GLORY OF YOUR NAME. AMEN

GOOD MORNING FRIEND

Don’t Look Back!

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Don’t Look Back!

Scripture: “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me.” (NKJV) “Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:12-14 (KJV)

How many of you have ever been involved in a foot race? What is the one thing that can slow you down? (Let the kids answer.) Yes, all of those are correct. But, one thing I remember hearing from a PE teacher about what could slow you down in a race was this, ‘Never look back.’ Our PE teacher told us that looking back in a race slows you down. (If time & space permits, you could have two children run a short race.) He told us it slows you down for two (2) reasons; 1) You are spending energy & time at looking where you have been & not where you are going, 2) You loose sight of the mark or finish line. Both of these things make you loose focus which in turn causes you valuable time in a race.

Paul speaks of this very thing in the Bible. It can be found in Philippians 3:12-14, “Not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”

Paul is talking about Pressing toward a goal, or winning a race. He knows that he has not won the race but, he counts himself still in the race trying to obtain the prize. He states in verse 13; in running the race one thing he does is forgetting those things that are in the past and reaches for the future. In other words, he doesn’t look back! He knows that if there was some goal he did not achieve last year, he is not going to dwell on it just reach for those things he can do in the coming year.

Can you think of anything you did not do last year? Ex.; Listen to Mom & Dad, Invite someone to church, read your Bible more, tell someone about the love of Christ, or be better friend. Well, don’t think about those things now, set new goals for yourself to strive towards within the coming year.

Think about one thing you would like to set as a goal for yourself within this next year. Now, just like in a race and as Paul tells us; “Don’t look back, press on toward the prize!! The prize we have in Jesus Christ our Savior!!”

LET US PRAY
FATHER HELP US TO ACHIEVE WELL THIS YEAR TO YOUR GLORY AND NEVER ALLOW US TO LOSE FOCUS ON YOU AMEN

THINK TWICE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THINK TWICE

TEXT: Luke 12:2-3 KJV
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

[3] Therefore whatsoever ye have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which ye have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

This is another day brethren to thank God and to know his will for our lives.
in life there is up and down, front and back, lie and truth also good and bad, and evil and good.
In all this our text has told us that whatever we did will surely be reveal one day

If all of us think this way then to do evil will be scary and we will not want to do bad.

Looking at our world today, the government, churches and everything around, one will think world should be better but instead the world kept on having problem, because everyone is corrupted and no body is ready to change

Jeremiah 17:9 KJV
The heart is deceitful above all things , and desperately wicked: who can know it?

Genesis 6:5 KJV
And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.

There is this truth you and I must know today, Jeremiah 12:13 KJV
They have sown wheat, but shall reap thorns: they have put themselves to pain, but shall not profit: and they shall be ashamed of your revenues because of the fierce anger of the Lord .

Think twice friend before you do something,
think twice before you act,
think twice before you take at step,
think twice before you kill,
think twice before you kidnap,
before you join the gang,
before you quit, before you talk,
before you give up,
before you do this and that,
think twice.

Luke 12:2-3 KJV
For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

Think about what your plans are this week, are they Gods plans, or evil?, remember you will receive the reward

LET US PRAY
MAY GOD CONTROL YOUR THOUGHT AND OTHER YOUR STEP TOWARD RIGHT THING IN LIFE IN JESUS NAME

7 Warning Signs a Leader Is About to Crash

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: 7 Warning Signs a Leader Is About to Crash

INTRO
I’ve been there. I’ve faced burnout and frustration in my work. Thankfully, I’ve never “bottomed out,” but I’ve felt near the bottom in my spirit. More than that, I’ve walked through these times with dozens of other leaders.
I’ve learned there are some common indicators that a leader is heading toward burnout. The sooner we can recognize them, the sooner we know to reach out for help.

Here are seven indicators you’re heading for burnout:

1. Isolation.
When the leader begins to avoid others, something is wrong. Leadership involves people. Not all leaders are overly communicative, but when the leader tries to avoid people who need the leader’s attention, something is wrong. Some leaders begin to question people around them. They struggle with mistrust or fear that others are talking about them, questioning them or out to get them.

2. Excuses.
When the leader always has an answer to why he or she was late, blames others for everything, or can’t see his or her own shortcomings, they are struggling with something. It may be burnout.

3. Hidden sins.
Many people hide in their sins, but burnout causes “secret,” deep sins. These are often new vices hidden from people who normally know you. The person who never drank before … is now drinking often. Someone who never struggled with pornorgraphy before suddenly can’t avoid it … and justifies it as a “release.”

4. Apathy.
When you don’t care anymore. And, you don’t really care that you don’t care anymore.

5. Indecisiveness. Paralization. Refusal to make decisions.
The person in this condition feels like every decision is a major one. And, there are seem to be so many … they make none.

6. Short-tempered.
Normally easy-going people often become shorter-fused when under extreme pressure.

7. Desperation.
When every day seems to be a panic day … beware. The leader is in a danger zone. There will be seasons of this in all of our lives, but we can’t live there long. We need periods of calm in our leadership.

If the leader always feels this way, something is wrong.

Granted, all of these may be indicators of other problems, but, in my experience, they are good signs of a potential crash.

Be careful. If a few of these are you, regardless of how you label it, now is the time to get help. Now.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD, UPHOLD ME TO THE END, NEVER LET ME TIRED OF THE KINGDOM RAISE IN JESUS AMEN

The role of the husband: sacrificial love,

IOI VALENTINE SPECIAL
. . .CONTINUE FROM YESTERDAY

TOPIC: 2. The role of the husband: sacrificial love,

TEXT: Ephesians 5:25-27

I. What isn’t sacrificial love,

A. Sacrificial love is not just doing acts of kindness
(Ex: washing dishes without watching the TV)
so that I wouldn’t feel guilty.

B. Making things easier for the wife the hope of
earning “brownie points.”

II. Then what is it?

A. Love her unconditionally even up to the point of
giving your life for her.

B. Paul says, “…as Christ loved the church…” Is it
because we are perfect that Jesus loves us?

C. Sacrificial love tolerates rejection, denial and
lack of approval, (John 1:11).

D. A husband who loves his wife sacrificially
continues to love her even when she doesn’t
want to respond.

III. How do I practice this?

A. Love your wife as to yourself, (Ephesians 6:28a).

B. Be willing to forgive when she falls short of your
expectations, (…as Christ loved the church and
gave himself for her…).

C. If confrontation is necessary do it in love,
(Ephesians 4:15). Not harshly, (Colossians 3:19).

D. Love her even if she doesn’t respond.

IV. Why is this important?

A. An unloving husband can’t expect his wife to
submit to his leadership,

B. The woman’s main needs are physical and
emotional security.

C. The husband is her source of protection.

D. An unloving husband makes her feel insecure
which in turn hurts the marriage relationship.

Conclusion
I. We are living in an era where marriage has come under the attack of many external forces.

II. Many marriages become victims of external forces because the relationship itself is weaker.

III. When husband and wife works together in love and submission their marriage becomes healthier and stronger and external forces can’t effect penetrate such marriages

The pillars of a healthy marriage

IOI VALENTINE SPECIAL MEAL

TOPIC: The pillars of a healthy marriage

Text: Ephesians 5:22-28

Introduction
I. The pillars of a healthy marriage are none other than the husband and wife themselves.

II. Both must work together in order to build a healthier marriage relationship.

III. This Valentine’s lets find out what can you do as husband and wife to become the strong pillars that supports your marriage.

1. The role of the wife: submission, (Ephesians 5:22-23)

I. This doesn’t mean,
A. passive submission.
B. that you should tolerate an abusive husband.
C. that the husband can force you to sin,

II. What Paul means by submit is,
A. To respect your husband.
B. Share his burdens.
C. Voluntarily follow his leadership.

III. How to submit?
A. Only to your husband – not unto every other man.
B. In love, as the church submits to Christ – not like a slave obeying his master.
C. In the Lord, (Ephesians 5:22-24) – (as long as the husband’s will doesn’t contradict biblical principals. Ex: Abigail disregarded her husband’s orders and delivered massive supplies to David and his men).

IV. Why is this important?
A. This is how God designed the marital relationship to function.
B. You hurt your marriage every time you violate the divine order.
C. Submission to your husband brings obedience to God.
V. How do I practice submission in my marriage?
A. First submit unto God which gives proper motivation.
B. When you submit do it out of a joyful heart.
C. Support him. Help him make better decisions.

. . .I WILL CONTINUE TOMORROW

LET US PRAY,
LORD JESUS HELP ME TO BE FAITHFUL IN MY MARITAL DUTIES TO MY SPOUSE NOW AND FOREVER AMEN

Father padlocks son’s mouth, beats him to death in Lagos

Unbelievable! You read some stories and just cringe. According to a shocking report by PM News, a father beat his 4 year old son to death and padlocked his mouth to prevent him from shouting while the beating lasted. The full report below...
The incident occurred on Monday afternoon at 7, Adetola Adelaja Street, Meiran area of Lagos. It was gathered that the man, Mr. Chris Elvis, who claims to sell computer accessories, allegedly locked his son, Godrich in the room, padlocked his mouth and beat him to death with an object that inflicted deep cuts all over his body, claiming that the boy was an Ogbanje (evil child that dies and reincarnates repeatedly).
The man landed in trouble when his landlady, Mrs Popoola who was in the market, was informed that something was happening in her house. She rushed home and discovered that the boy had been beaten to death by his father.

She rushed to Meiran Police Station to report the matter. The police stormed the house around 9 O’clock on Monday night to arrest Elvis who was about to escape.

After allegedly killing the boy, he locked him in one of his rooms. He told the police that nothing happened but when the police forced the locked room open, they found the dead boy with padlock in his mouth.

Husband of the landlady, Mr. Olusola Adejumo told P.M.NEWS that the deceased boy was four years old and that the man had been acting strange since he packed into the compound last year.
According to him, when Elvis came into the compound about six months ago, he came with his children and wife and that he claimed to sell computer accessories, adding that in the first two weeks of his stay in the house, he beat up his wife thoroughly.

He said he had gone to the police station to report the incident and that the police invited them to settle the matter and warned Elvis not to beat his wife again or he would be arrested.

Adejumo explained that sometime ago, the man travelled with his family and did not return with his wife, but came with the four-year old boy and another woman, whom he claimed was now his wife because he had parted ways with his former wife.

He said that on Monday, his new wife rushed out of the house shouting for help that the man wanted to kill his son, adding that the man came out of the house and chased his wife with a cutlass, calling the woman a witch.

It was gathered that the man came back into his room and locked it, padlocked the boy’s mouth and beat him till he died.

The police at Meiran took the boy’s corpse away and deposited it at the Ota General Hospital, while the man was detained and would be transferred to Area ‘M’ Police Division in Lagos later for further investigation.

After the incident on Monday, the police also arrested the landlady who came to report the matter at the police station and detained her till Tuesday morning, while allegedly demanding for N50,000 to bail the innocent woman.

A tenant in the house, Apostle Freedom Damian said Elvis had been a strange man in the house as he do not talk to anybody and was always keeping to himself and nobody could ask him questions.
He described the murder of the boy as gruesome and cruel.

Tenants living in the same compound with Elvis never knew his name and could not tell P.M.NEWS reporter his name because he does not interact with people.

BREAKING NEWS: President Jonathan Sacks Stella Oduah

BREAKING NEWS: President Jonathan Sacks Stella Oduah

President Goodluck Jonathan has finally summoned enough courage to fire the controversial AviationMinister Ms Stella Oduah from his cabinet. A credible source in the Presidency says that Stella was not sacked just because of the Bullet Proof cars scandal but also for the forgery of her Masters degree.

The source said "President Jonathan was very embarrassed when he got to know that the woman lied about her MBA through a top security officer before the story broke online". He said since then Jonathan has not in any way communicated with Stella and he was just waiting for this day to throw her out.

“They were dropped, they did not resign,” a top source in the Presidency also confirmed...

Stella Oduah was dropped along three other ministers, some of them with political ambition to contest for the governorship of their states. The other three ministers are Caleb Olubolade (Police Affairs); Godsday Orubebe (Niger Delta); and Yerima Ngama (State, Finance).

It is believed that President Jonathan is not ready to order the prosecution of Stella Oduah because he hardly go all out to fight corruption like President Olusegun Obasanjo.

Stella Oduah's sack was a big shock to her as she was looking very happy at the office on Wednesday before she was called from Aso Rock to write her resignation letter immediately.

SSS Director In Séx Scandal: Drags His Wife To Court For Attacking His Girlfriend

That men find it difficult to sleep with only one woman for a long time is a known fact and this explains why in the days of old the men, even those celebrated and respected ones, have several wives and concubines.

But these days, women say it's 50/50. It's a serious battle. A Deputy Director with the State Security Service in Oyo State, Edward Magaji, has dragged his beautiful wife to court for trying to stop his "enjoyment".
The SSS director told the court that his wife had been a pain in the neck since he assisted his girlfriend, Miss Natasha Aminu Danbaba, a nurse with Specialist Hospital, Yola, with some token to buy a car, adding that his wife had been terrorizing his girlfriend, calling her all sorts of names to the extent of going to her work place to fight her.
He added that his wife committed the action in his presence while he was in Natasha’s house and engaged them in a fight resulting to the breaking of the car’s windscreen.
Edward Magaji filed the complaint against his wife in a Magistrate court sitting in Yola, capital of Adamawa.

When the counsel to the wife, Barrister Binanu Eston asked Mr Magaji to define the relationship between him and the girlfriend, Mr Magaji simply said he was tired of his wife and could not answer such a question as he has since dumped her due to her many troubles.

The wife has four children, but Magaji said her wahala his too much, hence he is no longer interested in her.

PHOTO: Lagos State Deputy Governor’s Spiritual Father, Prophet I.T Adewoye Caught Pant Down With Female Church Member In Their Home

PHOTO: Lagos State Deputy Governor’s Spiritual Father, Prophet I.T Adewoye Caught Pant Down With Female Church Member In Their Home

Special Apostle/Prophet I.T. Adewoye is one of the leaders of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide. In his seventies, Prophet Adewoye is the spiritual leader and founder of Ayo Nio at the Idimu District in Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State.

His church located at 22, Idimu-Egbeda Road, Pipeline B/Stop is only a step to the Police Command at Idimu. One of the 53 district headquarters of C&S in Nigeria, USA and Europe, Ayo Nio is a big church congregation.

Impeccable sources claimed that Prophet Adewoye wields enormous influence in the area, and is often consulted on issues by individuals and groups. It is said that among those who go to him for spiritual help is Lagos State Deputy Governor, Adejoke Orelope-Adefulire.

From a polygamous family, Adejoke’s father, Alh. Saka Orelope is a popular politician in Alimosho Local Government. Her first marriage to an ambulance driver with National Orthopedic Hospital (Gbobi), Toyin Kembi, and father of her children collapsed like a badly arranged pack of cards.

However, if Prophet Adewoye and the Lagos deputy governor’s relationship has been hitch free, that of a private one, between the septuagenarian and a female member of his church, Mrs. Lateefat Balogun (photographed with Prophet Adewoye on her matrimonial bed) has landed him in hot water.

The Prophet Adewoye enjoyed romantic tryst with Mrs. Balogun. It was said that their secret love nest was the recess of the church. At times, they made use of Mrs. Balogun’s matrimonial home around Abidap Hotel at Abesan Housing Esate, Ipaja, whenever her husband was out of town.

It was gathered that their last meeting at Mrs. Balogun’s matrimonial home has pulled apart the curtains to reveal what was going on in the backstage of the revered man of God’s life. He was caught red-handed and photographed n*de by Mrs. Balogun’s husband.

Boiling with rage, Mr. Balogun took out his anger by dragging Prophet Adewoye to the Police Command at Idimu where he was begged not to press charges against the septuagenarian pastor.

Attempts made by our correspondence to confirm the incident from Prophet Adewoye were frustrated by people close to him.

MONSTER: Pastor Poured Anointing Oil On Girl's Private Part And Raped 16-Yr-Old To "Cleanse Her From Evil Spirits"

A 16-year-old rape victim on Tuesday told Abuja High Court that the accused pastor poured anointing oil on her and raped her in the name of removing evil spirits inside her.

According to the girl, Basil Princewill of Mountain Mover Fire Ministry Church, Nyanya, in 2012 told her he had a revelation that her foundation was dirty and that her father's wife was trying to kill her. The pastor reportedly added that Lord told him to perform a quick deliverance on her.

The victim agreed, after which Princewill brought a white handkerchief and a bottle of oil and asked her to remove her clothes.

"He also asked me if I was menstruating and I told him no. He told me that I am possessed with many evil spirits that have stained my blood and it will only take my husband to deliver me and I was not married, he said that he will carry out the cleansing on me," she said.

She further narrated that the pastor led her into his bedroom and asked her to close her eyes, brought his handkerchief and placed it over her head and she became very weak.

She said the accused raped her.

"I cried and begged him to stop but he refused. All I remember is that I fainted and woke up later to see that I was bleeding from my private parts. When he was done, he helped me to wear my clothes and he called Pastor Moses Onuoha and asked him to take me outside and burn the handkerchief," she said.

After everything was over for the girl, Princewill said that "deliverance" would need to be repeated.

"Sometime in December 2012, he sent for me against and told me that the spirits were stubborn and he lured me with alcohol and asked me to go home. After that I discovered that I was pregnant, he took me to Fantanu Head Medical Centre, Mararaba, Nasarawa State, for an abortion."

The terrified victim ran away, but was immediately brought back to the hospital.

"I saw the instruments and I ran out of the hospital (papa) Apostle ran after me and beat me up, saying I want to bring shame to him," she told testified.

She further said that the accused dragged her into the hospital and left a directive that she should not leave the hospital until he comes for her. After the abortion Princewill forbade her to leave the hospital room.

Later the girl's mother took her to the family doctor, who diagnosed that she had a recent abortion.

Baba-Yusuf adjourned the case to Feb. 20, for cross-examination

BIZZARE: This Church Allows Members Attend Service Naked Because 'Jesus Was Crucified Without Clothes' (PHOTOS)

BIZZARE: This Church Allows Members Attend Service Naked Because 'Jesus Was Crucified Without Clothes' (PHOTOS)

Because according to their leader, Pastor Allen Parker, the clothing requirements of other churches were overly 'pretentious'. So he decided his own flock should be free to forgo such materialism if they desire.

Pastor Allen claims that many of the most important moments in the Bible happened while the protagonists were nude, including Jesus' crucifixion and resurrection.
Speaking to CNN, Mr Parker said:

'When he [Jesus] was born he was naked, when he was crucified he was naked and when he arose he left his clothes in the tomb and he was naked. If God made us that way, how can that be wrong?'

Mr Parker is believed to have drawn at least some of his opinions on nudity from the book of Genesis, in which Adam and Eve were originally described as 'both naked, the man and his wife, and were not ashamed'. It was only after sinfully eating forbidden fruit from the Tree of Knowledge that Adam and Even are said to have seen their nudity as shameful, at which point they sowed fig leaves into loincloths.
.

Although the church allows worshipers to attend services fully naked, many members decided they would rather continue to attend fully clothed, particularly when in mid-winter, while others opt to just reveal their breasts or genitals

Be God's Light

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Be God's Light

TEXT: “You are the light of the world — like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden. No-one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father.” Matthew 5:14-16

Are You a Disciple?

How do people respond when they find out that you are a Christian? They shouldn’t be surprised, if your life models Jesus’ loving, patient, sacrificial example. Jesus said, "your love for one another will prove to the world that you are My disciples" (John 13:35). The Bible instructs us to "live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people" (Philippians 2:15). We are to stand out because of God's goodness.

Love One Another

The Bible says that God loves us sacrificially, and that "since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other" (1 John 4:11). Christians are to "be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you" (Ephesians 4:32).

God's instructions for dealing with others can be "summed up in this one commandment: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' Love does no wrong to others" (Romans 13:9-10). Christians have every reason to show love to their brothers and sisters in Christ. It’s easy to be nice when things are going well and people are nice to you. But you are even more a witness of God’s love and mercy when you show kindness to people who are mean or weird or hard to get along with.

Witness

God has given His people the power to tell people about Him everywhere, to the ends of the earth, through the Holy Spirit. You are a witness to God's truth. Your words might be the ones that encourage someone to accept God's life-saving grace. Always be ready to share those words -- and live a godly life to testify to them.

LET US PRAY,
LORD JESUS MAKE ME A SHINNING LIGHT THAT DARKNESS CAN NOT PREVAIL AND MAKE A WAY FOR ME

GOOD MORNING BRETHREN

You are the light of the world!”

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: You are the light of the world!”

Matthew 5:14-16

"I am the light of the world - whoever follows me will never walk in darkness but have the light of life" (John 8:12). It is astounding that Jesus calls himself the light of the world and, in Matthew 5:14-16, Jesus also declares that we are the light of the world! He encourages us to let our light - our good deeds - shine before others so that they may glorify our Father in heaven.

God wants you to be like a city on a hill (Matthew 5:14) where you, as a disciple, will live such a light giving life. Imagine getting up each morning with the burning desire (in all humility before God) to be a blessing to all whom you will meet that day!

So what are some ways you can be a light to the world? Start your day full of praise for our King. Ask the Lord for the grace to be a blessing everywhere you go and pray for the salvation of people who don’t know Him as their Savior.

On your way to work, pray for the people God puts in your path, asking God to focus your attention toward people that are on His heart.

If someone treats you badly or unfairly, recognize the anger in your heart, forgive the person, and pray that the Lord will bless them. You will immediately sense God's peace.

At work, you can pray for your project for the morning and start with joy, knowing you are doing it for the Lord. Thank a co-worker for a great job done. Take a refreshing drink to a new co-worker.

If your manager asks for a volunteer to assist at another branch, you can volunteer while silently asking the Lord's blessing on the manager. And so on ...

LET US PRAY
Lord, help me to shine as Your light in my world! Give me the wisdom and sensitivity not to look proud as I do it. Touch people, so that they may glorify You. In the Name of Jesus, Amen

Pastor Bans Leadership Staff From Wearing Weavons In His Church

Pastor Bans Leadership Staff From Wearing Weavons In His Church

The staff at Resurrecting Faith was told by their pastor, A. J. Aamir that the leadership staff cannot wear weaves because of his personal insight on the costly maintenance. Pastor Aamir has taken the position that women who wear weave shows a false image of natural beauty, and resemble a woman with low self-esteem.

“Our Black people are getting weaves trying to be something and someone they are not. Be real with yourself is all I’m saying” said Pastor Aamir.
Coming from the Islamic faith, the 39 year old Pastor was raised in a strict household that has contributed to his paradigm of judgment.

“Long hair don’t care. What kind of mess is that? I don’t want my members so focused on what’s on their heads and not IN their heads,” he told AmericaPreachers.com.
“I lead a church where our members are struggling financially. I mean really struggling. Yet, a 26 year old mother in my church has a weave on her head. NO. I will not be quiet about this.”

Pastor Aamir’s perceptions of the reason why women wear weave have sprung an immediate reaction from the online communities.
Demetria L. Lucas, contributing editor of TheRoot.com, wrote: “It’s curious why he chose to berate women for their hair, instead of actually focusing on the problem of financial miseducation or poor priorities among his congregation.”
She added: “Educating his congregation—men included, because most of the men are lining up overnight to buy Air Jordans and spending money on rims have poor financial priorities, too—would be more helpful than attacking women’s hair.”

Pastor Aamir founder of the Resurrecting Faith Church in Waco, Texas acknowledges the fact that he cannot stop women from wearing weaves at his church. He has maintained his position that he does not approve of the increasing desire for women to wear weave.

The General Overseer of the Latter Rain Assembly and former Vice Presidential candidate under the Congress for Progressive Change, Pastor Tunde Bakare has distanced himself from quotes stating that APC is the Church of Satan.

The Quote was: "APC is like a newly opened church of Satan with the evil as a Pastor which could not be distinguished by Nigerians from a true living Godly Church and hence could be mistaken for a real Church, even when it was made of thieves (Legitimate Pen Robbers), that is why they ganged up against Local Government fiscal Autonomy using crumbs from stolen accumulated wealth to bribe their thievery colleagues at Federal and State house of Assembly."

"It is very clear that 5 Governors of APC in the west is far richer than their state and they have looted every penny from their state purse. People should be careful of this Rogues,".

However Mallam Nasir El-Rufai Posted on his Facebook page this statement followed by a message from Pastor Bakare himself.

The Jonathanian Disinformation Machine At Work Again - against Pastor Bakare and the APC - there has been a quotation attributed FALSELY to my brother Pastor Tunde Bakare, referring to his party the APC in unsavoury terms. IT IS FALSE and the email exchange below circulated with Pastor Bakare's express authority confirm the attribution to be false. This has been done to me and I had warmed then that the Jonathan Disinformation Team with offices at Legacy House, Abuja will do more of this. Watch out!

The General Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, on Sunday urged Nigerians to always resort to prayer to resolve the problems confronting them individually and as a nation

The General Overseer, Deeper Life Bible Church, Pastor Williams Kumuyi, on Sunday urged Nigerians to always resort to prayer to resolve the problems confronting them individually and as a nation.

Kumuyi gave the charge during a special programme held at the church headquarters in Abuja.

He said that worry and anxiety could not bring solutions to the challenges facing individuals or the nation but prayer was necessary to turn things around.

The cleric enjoined Christians not to resort to human wisdom, rioting, fighting or mere debates in addressing the challenges of life but to remain steadfast in prayers.

"When Peter was kept in the prison, prayer was made for him; not politics, not human wisdom, not debate, not rioting, not fighting, but prayer.

"When there is a problem, we should resort to prayer," Kumuyi said.

According to the cleric, God is always ready to step in and fight for his own in time of trouble.

He, therefore, urged the people to move closer to God and surrender their affairs to Him.

Be Anxious for Nothing

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Be Anxious for Nothing

Be anxious for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God . . . ~ Philippians 4:6, 7a (KJV)

READING: I Corinthians 3:5-9

We forget sometimes that this kingdom we are building is the Kingdom of God and not our own. We get so caught up in how things are going and so worried about the results that we get carried away with cares. We sometimes let the apparent lack of results or problems get us discouraged, and we take that discouragement into our relationship with our spouse and children.

Yes, it is good that our spouse understand our concerns and the work that we do even to the point of being intimately concerned together; however it is NOT right to let our concerns upset our family and marriage to the point that we live in turmoil. We need to learn how to separate our ministerial lives from our private lives.

We are encouraged by Peter’s wise counsel to “cast all [our] anxiety on Him because He cares for [us]” (I Pet. 5:7). As the Scripture says in today’s reading in I Corinthians, we are laborers together with God but He is responsible to give the increase.
We are responsible to be obedient and to whole-heartedly do whatever God asks of us. When we have done our best in the power of the Holy Spirit and ministered His Word to the people, we can rest in faith that God’s Word will not return void but will have the effect for which God sent it.

LET US PRAY
Dear Lord Jesus, Help me learn to separate my pastoral cares and problems from my personal life with my spouse and children. Help me find the right balance of letting them participate in the work you have called me to do without upsetting my family’s peace of mind. Amen.

Meet the Pastor Who Collects Money Before Revealing to People If They're Going To Heaven

Meet the Pastor Who Collects Money Before Revealing to People If They're Going To Heaven

I don't know if this Pastor is using his "Helicopter" to flying into heaven to get the information...

Pastor Wahome, the founder of Helicopter of Christ Ministries has been accused of charging people money to check if their names are in the book of life. The Pastor charges almost N3,000 from anyone who wants to know about his or her stand, either the person will land in heaven or hell after death.

To the surprise of discerning minds, a lot of people have been flooding Pastor Wahome's church in a bid to also receive their supposed healing and are still running there to see if their names are in the book of life.

This is not the first time the Kenyan pastor will be accused of fooling his church members and the public, as he also did something similar in 2012 when he wore a particular garment and said whoever touched it will be healed of any sickness just like the woman with the issue of blood, in Mark 5:21-34 who got healed after touching the garment of Jesus. The use to charge about N2,278 (Sh 1,200).

Outer Beauty & Inner Beauty

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Outer Beauty & Inner Beauty

TEXT: Your beauty should not come from outward adornment, such as elaborate hairstyles and the wearing of gold jewelry or fine clothes. Rather, it should be that of your inner self, the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit, which is of great worth in God’s sight.”1 Peter 3:3-4

Lasting Impressions

Have you ever seen a really attractive person -- someone people can't help but turn and stare at as they walk by? People with great God-given beauty may make a great impression, but it will be forgotten when the next beautiful person comes along.

What about a person who really knows Jesus and walks with Him? God’s grace and mercy flow through this person, resulting in encouraging words and good works. Do others pay attention when someone lives this way? We might not notice them at first, but their godly deeds leave an impression of goodness, and people's lives can be changed because of them.

Each of those two people makes an impression. But only the second can impact others with eternal consequences.

Fleeting vs. Lasting Impact

The Bible tells us that “Charm is deceptive, and beauty is fleeting; but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised.” (Proverbs 31:30) God wants women AND men to be more concerned about our character and our “inner” beauty than our outward appearance.

Today’s scripture from Peter tells us not to give so much attention to "outward adornment," but instead to cultivate "the unfading beauty of a gentle and quiet spirit" (1 Peter 3:3-4). There is nothing wrong with making yourself look nice, but we must remember that outward beauty will fade, and its impact just as quickly. But inner beauty can keep growing your whole life, so that it’s your character people notice instead of your appearance. And then God receives the glory.

Eternal Life

What lasts longer than forever? Nothing! When we share God’s love with others, we can help them find eternal life: "Everyone who believes in [God's Son] will not perish but have eternal life" (John 3:16). And, "Those who listen to My message and believe in God Who sent Me have eternal life. They will never be condemned for their sins, but they have already passed from death into life" (John 5:24).

So in gratefulness and love for God, and by His Holy Spirit working in us, we can do so much more than leave a fleeting impression of beauty; we can let God use us to change someone’s eternal destiny.

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS COVER US WITH YOUR DIVINE BEAUTY AND LET YOUR GLORY SHINE ON US AMEN

GOOD MORNING BRETHREN

7 Steps To Get Pregnant Fast

7 Steps To Get Pregnant Fast

Okay, so there are a few simple things that can help you in conceiving even faster. And one of those would be the biggest factor of all — knowing your ovulation. Knowing your ovulation can help you in timing when to baby dance and that as well helps you in how to conceive even faster.

Learn which are your most fertile days
Now if you don’t know your ovulation dates, you can use ovulation predictor kits (OPKs), you can try an ovulation monitor, or you can do something as simple as an ovulation calculator. Now, once you figure out when your fertile window is, this is the time you want to be baby dancing, slightly before, during your fertile window, and then of course, a little bit afterwards as well. Remember, you only ovulate once every monthly cycle, and ovulation only occurs once. It is imperative that you know when you ovulate so you can properly time intercourse. If you miss your fertile window, you’ll assuredly miss that monthly cycle and move on to the next month. If you haven’t pinpointed your exact day of ovulation, as a general rule of thumb, you can have intercourse every other day. But keeping this up throughout the month may prove tiring, so timing intercourse to the day before, day of, and day after ovulation are big steps on the road to conceiving.

Chart your signs of ovulation
Some other options you have to increase your odds of conception, even faster, would be charting. Now charting means, taking your temperature, checking your cervix, keeping notes on your cervical mucus. You can also write down your signs of ovulation pain, back pain, breast tenderness and any of those other things that may indicate ovulation is nearing. You can also have saliva testing, which you can pick up at your local drugstore as well as an at-home semen analysis test. Pretty cool, huh? Charting your basal body temperature every morning will prove to be a fantastic way to have a record of your own personal ovulation cycle, so you can begin to anticipate when you in particular will ovulate. Besides which, charting & temping is a free option, whereas taking OPKs or purchasing an ovulation monitor can be a bit more pricey.

FYI: For the most approximate way to determine when you ovulate, subtract 14 from the length of your cycle. For example:

* If you have a 28-day cycle, you ovulate around day 14.
* If you have a 25-day cycle, you ovulate around day 11.
* If you have a 35-day cycle, you ovulate around day 21.

Have Sex Before You Ovulate
Those hardy sperm can stick around in your uterus and fallopian tubes for two to three days, but your egg only lasts for 12 to 24 hours after it’s released. So having sex before you ovulate boosts the chances that there’ll be sperm around to greet your egg as soon as it debuts.

For a typical 28-day cycle (where you ovulate on day 14), here’s what you’ll do:

Start having sex a few times a week as soon as your period ends. Getting busy that often ensures you won’t miss your most fertile time, especially if your cycle length varies from month to month.
Make a point to have sex every other day starting around day 10.
When you have a positive result on your OPK (around day 12), have sex that day and the next two days — these are your primo days out of the month to conceive.
Fertility supplements
Supplements are another option for women. There are a number of both prescription & over the counter supplements on the market that can assist a woman’s body to boost their fertility levels. The most common prescribed fertility medication is Clomid, which helps stimulate ovulation. Over the counter supplements are also an option, to assist in regulating your hormones, helping stimulate ovulation, and helping lengthen your luteal phase – all necessary things that need to happen in order for you to achieve conception. From brand name options like ConceiveEasy to over the counter vitamins or minerals like B6 or Vitex, check with your healthcare practitioner first to see which options are best for you.

Which position is best for you?
An option that couples have together, would be your sexual position. Yes, sexual position. You have many options like doggy style, missionary, and side-by-side, but not all positions are created equal when you want to get pregnant. The best position for couples trying to conceive would be either doggy-style or missionary with hips slightly elevated. Both allow for deeper penetration, to ensure that the sperm is deposited as close to the egg as possible. However, be sure not to raise your hips too much because then you can bypass the cervix altogether. So be careful with that one. But keep in mind that a little bit of gravity can’t hurt to help the sperm find its way to your egg. And also, after intercourse, it just makes good common sense to stay still laying down for 5-10 minutes, perhaps atop a small pillow or cushion, and allow the maximum amount of time for the sperm to find its mark – before getting up to go to the bathroom or walking around, etc.

Things your man can do
And then this last one is for the men specifically. Keep those sperm cool! No warm showers, no hot tubs, no hot laptops in your lap, no super snug underwear, no bike riding. Anything that is going to increase the warmth in the genital area will decrease your sperm count as well as their motility. Furthermore, advise your partner to abstain from intercourse with you for 3-5 days before ovulation, to ensure enough sperm is built up to ensure maximum chance of conception.

No smoking, drinking, caffeine… or dieting
In this day & age, it goes without saying that making healthy lifestyle changes are paramount when you’re on the road to conception. Stop the smoking, stop the drinking, and pass on the latte grande. Many women overlook the caffeine angle, and yet many will find a simple reduction in caffeine intake proves a big boost to fertility. There’s also a common misconception about how weight affects your fertility. When you’re trying to get pregnant, being the correct weight or a little overweight is better than being too skinny. Studies have shown nearly two-thirds of women who were underweight struggled with infertility while being slightly overweight actually appears to help enhance your fertility.

Kenyan Pastor Charges Khs 1500 (N3000) To Check If Members’ Names Are In The Book of Life

Kenya is very much like Nigeria: corruption is unprecedented, ethnic strife appears much more pronounced than Nigeria, traditional rulers are just as corrupt as public officials but in Pastor Wahome of Helicopter Ministries, they have Nigeria’s match in religious scam. I read this on Nairobi Exposed:

In 2012, pastor Wahome was charging Sh 1,200 to anyone who wanted to touch his garment- like that woman who touched Jesus’ clothes in Mark 5:21-34.

Wahome also claimed that people who touched his clothes got instant healing from whatever disease
And now, he has devised a new con game. Its called “Check whether your name is the book of life”. Wahome claims that if you give him Sh 1,500, he can actually ask God whether you are among those people who will go to heaven. He claims that he has a direct line to God and he can communicate with him directly.
