Text: Psalm 27:1-6

Intro: As I read the words of this psalm, I see the imagery of battle being portrayed in these verses. Words like “enemies” and “foes” in verse 2; “host” in verse 3; “war” in verse 3; and “enemies” in verse 6 all speak of warfare. Phrase like “though an host encamp against me”, verse 3; and “though war should rise against me”, verse 3 speak of a battle being waged against David. It appears that he is in a difficult situation. Yet, it is also very clear from reading these verses that even in the midst of the battles he is fighting, David still has hope.

The Bible teaches us a vastly different definition of hope. Listen to the words of Jeremiah, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is,” Jer. 17:7. Hear also Paul, “And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity,” 1 Cor. 13:13. The world says that hope is merely a fond wish or desire. But, the words used for hope in the Bible tell a different story. They teach us that hope is “A deep settled confidence that God will keep His promises!”

Now brethren as you go out today have hope that all shall be well and expect it you will see a good result with faith in Jesus name.

What you are about to read will give you different ways to peak a woman’s interest and can even arouse her. No this isn’t about where to kiss her, and different ways to touch her body. We are talking about achieving this without ever laying a finger on her. Non physical attributes play a big role in generating attraction with a woman, and here are 12 that can truly have an impact.

1. Intelligence
For a lot of women, a smart man is a sexy man. Knowledge is power, and it can definitely intrigue a woman. Now I know what some of you are thinking, “nerds don’t get the girls”. Well some do, and the one’s that don’t have allowed other turn offs to overshadow this great attribute. Having the ability to carry on an intelligent conversation can have a very positive affect on a woman and turn her on.

2. Being Considerate
When you do something considerate, that can make a woman feel special. When that happens, that can sometimes materialize into a greater attraction. Being mindful of her feelings and doing small gestures to show her you’re thinking about her can easily win you some points. You’re pouring into her emotionally and that makes her much more receptive to you.
3. Assertiveness
Most women (if not all) are not turned on by a man they view as too soft and passive. Knowing how to be assertive and putting your foot down at the right time (in the right way) can cause that woman to melt right before your eyes. That doesn’t mean go out and behave like an a-hole, or treat her like she is beneath you. It just means stand strong, handle your business, and demand respect. If she can’t respect you, then she won’t have a desire for you.

4. Appearance
Even though men tend to be more superficial than women, don’t be fooled. She is paying attention, and she too wants something nice to look out. It doesn’t mean you need to have expensive clothes or flashy jewelry. Simply learning how to present yourself as well put together can do wonders. Know how to rock a suit, and that casual outfit. Don’t forget a nice pair of shoes. A lot of women are looking at your shoes whether you realize it or not.

5. Ambition
A man with no aspirations and no drive can be a huge turn off for a woman. Yes there are plenty of good for nothing men getting women to be with them, but that is due to a deeper issue to be discussed another time. The reality is most women crave a man with some ambition. Having passion and a purpose can really do it for her. It gives off the energy of a man who is about handling his business, and a woman loves to see that.

6. Being A Handyman
This is one that for a lot of women isn’t a huge issue if you’re not, but that doesn’t mean they don’t like to see a man that knows how to get his hands dirty. That doesn’t mean you need to be a all out mechanic, or build furniture from scratch. It just means that knowing how to handle things around a house on your own can be a very sexy attribute to a lot of women. It comes off as very manly and naturally women are drawn to masculine energy.

7. Humor
It is well known that making a woman laugh can take you a long way. Unlike some of the other things mentioned on this list, it probably doesn’t generate as much “arousal” but it will draw a woman more to you. We all like to smile, so learning how to have a good sense of humor is a great thing to strive for. You don’t have to be stand up comic funny, and have jokes ready to go. Just remember that laughter is good for the soul and can definitely help you appear more attractive to a woman.

8. Showing Desire Not Desperation
You may have guessed everything on this list up to this point. This right here doesn’t get talked about enough but it sure can make a difference between turning her off and turning her on. A woman likes to be desired (hopefully respectfully) but when you start to look desperate, that just isn’t a good look. Understanding how to show desire without crossing the line of desperation will work in your favor. Coming off as “thirsty” (I know that term gets abused and misused a lot) will probably leave you with nothing to drink.

9. Communication
Your words and knowing how to use them can be powerful. The ability to communicate can make you a very desirable man. That is how some men who don’t have many of the other things on the list still get women. They learned how to listen, and how to seduce her mind with effective communication. A lot of women love to talk and a man that knows how to talk to them can see a huge benefit.

10. Good Hygiene
A lot of women are sensitive to smell, so if your breath or body is a little funky, then that probably isn’t going to turn her on at all. Putting more effort into your hygiene is a great thing to do. A lot of men take this for granted, but when you smell fresh and clean that can make a woman want to get closer to you. Also invest in some good cologne (please don’t drown yourself in it), and some type of smell good that you can use on a daily basis. Some women may like some “funk” but most are turned out by a nice smelling man.

11. Confidence
This is one of the most important, if not the most important factor in turning a woman on and gaining her attention. Confidence is sexy. Women love it, and the same goes for men. If you lack confidence your energy isn’t likely to arouse her one bit. You have to see the value in who you are, and be comfortable with who you are. Just don’t confuse confidence with arrogance. Confidence presents itself, arrogance tends to have to announce itself.

12. Commitment
I know what you may be thinking, “but I don’t even know her well enough yet”. Completely understood, but this isn’t simply about a willingness to commit to her. It’s about showing an ability to commit to anything positive in your life. It could be your spiritual walk, your kids, your dreams, etc. Just showing that you are willing to put in the work and stay disciplined can be a huge turn on. You would still need to be able to find a balance if you move forward with her, but it will certainly make her more confident in your ability to commit to her as well.

I know some men will read this and say they have seen plenty of men get women doing much less. As I stated earlier that is a different issue, and that still doesn’t dismiss the fact that embracing the things on this list can indeed turn her on. These are good things for a man to implement in his life, and it can be a benefit for him with more than just women (i.e. career).

Everyone desire to be blesses and rich in wealth, and so is good to be blessed. But not everyone who desired to be blesses become blessed. The question why.

God design life with principle and law, we who live on the earth must live by the principle that govern it and the law. ( there is this saying that nothing goes for nothing )

Brethren there are many principle but the one of the lord Jesus is the right principle of peace which come with joy and internal hope.
Today we are looking at been a blessed man

TO BE A BLESSED MAN YOU MUST

1. You must not be in the counsel of the ungodly,

2. You must not be standing in the way of sinners,

3. You must not be sited in the seat of the scornful.

The Bible says if we can do this we will be flourish like tree planted by the river side and all that we do will prosper.

Brethren as you go out today watch out for where you sit. Where you stand and what counsel you take. Our lives center around this things daily and if we can control it and allow God to take control our lives will be better

We recently came across this article via Man wife and dog post and we think every wife might be able to recognize and identify with this traits. For the ladies, looking to get hitched someday….hopefully you can see some traits in some men to look out for….happy reading!

In my line of work, I meet a lot of great husbands and the wives who adore them. Over time, it’s not hard to pick up on a pattern among these men — especially when I chat with other wives about why they chose the men they’ve married and what qualities in their husbands have most shaped their marriages. For all those single women out there who often wonder what type of man they should marry or how they will know if he’s “The One” they’re meant to spend forever with, this list is 100 percent for you. 1. The Provider

He puts family first, always. He’s a selfless man, who lives to please those he cares most about. He’s the kind of man who can work two jobs in his sleep, always has a side-hustle in mind to earn more money, and guards his savings with his life. He can’t rest until he knows the ones he loves are okay. He strives for perfection at home and in the office. Work-life balance is very important to him, but if missing time with his loved ones means a better life for them, he’s always game to put in the overtime and take one for the team. Words like “no,” “can’t,” and “impossible,” are just not in his vocabulary, and when he hears others use them, it only increases his devotion to the task at hand.

Why He Makes a Good Husband: Marriage is the start of a new family — your family. You will both want to provide for the family you create together, and it’s imperative that you are partners with the same goals in mind. That said, there will be times when one person just cannot do as much as the marriage (or family) requires — such is life. Marrying a natural-born provider will be a huge plus when the scales in your marriage tip, as they inevitably will at different points along your path.
2. The Rock

At your weakest moments, his strength keeps you stable and inspires you to push through. He isn’t immune to pain or frustration, but he does handle it well, and he knows how to pull himself out of low places. He’s the kind of man who never misses your call when he knows you need to get something off your chest, or better, just a friend to be there for you. Speaking of chests, his is always there for you to lean on, squeeze, and find comfort in when it feels like only a hug will do.

Why He Makes a Good Husband: He’s loyal, devoted, and a true pillar in the world of the woman he loves. This is the perfect recipe for a loving husband that you can count on through thick and thin; what woman doesn’t dream of marrying one of those?

3. The Critical Thinker

There isn’t a problem, big or small, that he isn’t itching to solve. He’s a quick, solid, thinker, who hates to be backed into a corner. He doesn’t just see the problem in front of him; he sees a road map of the many solutions available to him and takes his time as he determines the best way to get there, or the course of action he must take. He is patient, because he has to be — rushing things is rarely the answer and he knows this. He’s diligent, focused, and considers himself a mental Olympian of sorts.

Why He Makes a Good Husband: Marriage is truly beautiful, but it comes with its share of problems, and its rough patches. Happier times aren’t always just around the bend — getting there may require a detailed plan and thinking smarter, not harder. He will make a great team player during the moments where the only way to win is to work together, and trust me, those moments can and will arise in marriage.

4. The Believer

When the world around him comes crumbling down and the sun seems as if it will never rise again, this man still believes — his faith is his foundation. It gets him through the good and the bad, and it never falters. He believes in the things unseen and those that many give up on when the world turns cold: hope, morals, kindness, and good will. He has a church home, or a religious mainstay in his life and the fellowship refuels his engines. He’s God-fearing (whoever his God) and he’s proud of his strong beliefs. His moral compass is always turned in a positive direction, and he refuses to accept failure. He helps others and chooses to live his life in a way he believes others should live theirs.

Why He Makes a Good Husband: This man has the emotional tools needed in his toolbox to repair many of the cracks and dents that will inevitably appear in any marriage. He’s a fighter, and he will fight with you and for your marriage. He won’t give up, even when you do.
5. The Free Spirit

Spending time with this man never gets old. He believes that life is about living and therefore is virtually immune to the physical afflictions caused by stress and worry. It’s not that he doesn’t feel those emotions; he just refuses to let them consume him. He stays positive and seeks to enjoy all aspects of his life, as much as humanly possible. He has most likely chosen a career he loves over one that pays all the bills. Therefore he’s just as passionate about his work as he can be about feeding his cravings for new adventures. He enjoys traveling and most likely has a bucket list at least a quarter complete. He doesn’t believe in wasting time worrying about what can’t happen and prefers to shift his focus to what can. With him, there’s never a dull moment at home, in the bedroom, or when you’re out and about. His inner light shines through and warms the spirits of those around him. He keeps life exciting — almost as if, each day he presses the refresh button.

Why He Makes a Good Husband: Spending the rest of your life with the same person, doing many of the same things can be as boring or as exciting as you make it. Marrying this man ensures that one pitfall your marriage won’t ever fall into is that of pure and utter boredom. It sounds simple, but it’s so important.

7 Ways to Keep Your Breasts Healthy

Protect Yourself
When it comes to young women and breast cancer, there’s good news and bad news. The good: Their chances of having the disease are much lower than an older woman’s. The bad: If cancer does strike, it can be more aggressive, says Debra Mangino, M.D., of New York’s Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center.
But a healthy lifestyle can help protect your breasts. These are the changes and early-detection methods experts say are key:

Stay at a Healthy Weight

Being heavy can increase your risk of developing the disease as well as reduce your risk of surviving it, says Harold Freeman, M.D., president and founder of the Ralph Lauren Center for Cancer and Prevention in New York City.

Break a Sweat

Aim to exercise for 45 minutes to an hour five days a week. Regular fitness workouts may help prevent the disease by boosting immune function, warding off obesity, and lowering levels of estrogen and insulin.

Drink No Alcohol

Research has shown that two drinks a day could increase breast cancer risk by 21 percent. Instead, try swapping wine for fresh grapes. Resveratrol, found in the skin of grapes, may help reduce your estrogen levels, which in turn may reduce your risk.

Eat Your Veggies

A low-fat diet can do a lot to reduce your risk, but for even more protection, add some cruciferous vegetables, such as broccoli and kale, to your plate. They contain sulforaphane, which is believed to help prevent cancer cells from multiplying. For an extra dose of cancer-fighting power, eat them raw.

Know Your Family History

“In about 15 percent of breast cancer cases, there is a family history of the disease,” Freeman says. If you have one first-degree relative who had breast cancer, your lifetime risk doubles, and if you have two your risk increases five-fold.

Get Checked

All women should have a clinical breast exam at least every three years and annual exams and mammograms starting at age 40. Women with a family history should begin screening 10 years prior to the family member’s age of diagnosis. Ask if the facility offers digital mammography–it allows for adjustments in contrast so the image can be easier to see. Young women at increased risk may also want to ask for either an MRI or a sonogram in addition to the mammogram.

Consider Genetic Testing

“When cancer strikes young women, it’s more likely to be connected to a BRCA mutation,” Mangino says. Two red flags for being a BRCA carrier: being of Ashkenazi (Eastern European) Jewish descent or having a family history of both breast and ovarian cancer. “If you have either of these factors, see a genetic counselor to talk about getting tested,” she says.

I want to tell you today that there is a way for you
to please God with your life. I want to show you,
through Joseph's life, how you can bring great joy to
the Lord Jesus Christ. In Genesis 45 we find Joseph
experienced one of the most joyful, fulfilling, pleasing moments in all his life. If you will remember that Joseph stands as an Old Testament picture of Jesus, then you will be able to understand how you can bring Joy to Jesus--even as Joseph's brothers brought joy to him.

How can you or I please God with our lives? When I ask that question you probably immediately begin to develop long lists of do's and don'ts.

Ex. To please God I need to pray, read my Bible, obey the Ten Commandments,
attend church, tithe,
sing in the choir, go to Sunday School, give to the poor,
visit the sick, etc.

To please God I should not drink, smoke, fight, curse, cheat, lie, etc.

These lists of do's and don'ts are certainly good, but they don't get to the heart and essence of pleasing God.You can follow your list of do's and don'ts perfectly and still not please God.

I mean, you can try your best to live by the Ten
Commandments, attend church, pray,read the Bible, follow the Golden Rule, avoid sin and immorality,

and still not be pleasing to God. For you see, the Bible saysHebrews 11:6 "...without faith it is impossible to please him (God)...

Romans 14:23 "...whatever is not of faith is sin."

Do you want me to sum up very simply and concisely how everyone of us can please God? We please God only when we trust Him!

Adulterous Wife Conspires With Pastor To Kill Husband In Ebonyi State

The heart of this woman is indeed dark. She conspired with their pastor to kill her own husband.
45-year-old Nwebonyi Nwuguru, a native of Edukwu Inyima community of Ebonyi State, whose wife, Roseline, connived with the General Overseer of Divine Salvation Ministry, Pastor Amos Odorimo, to snuff life out of him, even after Nwuguru had donated an hectare of land to the church to build an auditorium.

The pastor did not see the deceased kindness to mean anything as he had to kill him so as to consummate a love affair that ensued between him and the wife of Nwuguru.

According to news reports, Nwuguru didn’t initially raise eyebrows over the long hours his wife spent at the church because he thought she was attending to the things of God. Little did he know that the pastor was going beyond his divine commission, administering to the woman’s body instead of her soul.

When Nwuguru got wind of the strong and deep romantic relationship between his wife and Odorimo, he naturally screamed blue murder. With their love affair known to Nwuguru, Odorimo and Roseline were deeply rattled, but refused entreaties to end the re­lationship. Rather, they allegedly connived to solve the problem permanently, and invited the devil to be their chief adviser.

On September 30, 2014, the unsuspecting Nwu­guru decided to visit his farm. Promptly, Odorimo offered to give him a ride on his motor­cycle. Along the way Odorimo stopped and dismounted from the motorcycle, and brought out a sharp machete and cut down his rival in cold blood.

At the headquarters of the State Criminal Investigation Department of the Ebonyi State Police Command where Pastor Odorimo and Roseline are being held as inves­tigation into the alleged murder continues, Odorimo spoke with Sunday Sun.
I am married and have five children. The deceased Nwebo­nyi Nwugwu was nice to me. He gave me a hectare of land to build my church. His wife, Roseline Nwuguru attended my church.
It was from there that I started having love affair with her. When the love was getting deep, we found out that the de­ceased was disturbing us and we have to plan for him.
On the day I killed him, I took deceased’s cutlass and cut him on the head. His wife also hit him on the head with a big stick. He died on the spot and we ran away to Benue State, but men of the local vigilance group arrested us and handed us over to the police.

An unrepentant Roseline Nwuguru, who hails from Ado Local Government Area of Benue State, corroborated the account of Odorimo said:
I have seven children for my late husband. He stopped people from entering the church because he had misunderstanding with Pastor Odorimo.
Actually I was having a love affair with Pastor Odorimo. I don’t regret my action and joining in killing my husband. He was a wicked man, because he prevented people from entering the church.

The Ebonyi State Commissioner of Police, Maigari Dikko has assured that the suspects would have their day in court once the police conclude investigations.

Text: 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Several times Jesus warned Peter that Satan was after him, but he failed to heed the warning. Too many Christians have “gone to sleep,” opening the way for Satan to work.

I. Don’t Stray
“Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.” Ps. 119:67

Christians sometime neglect their prayer life, and they fail to study God’s Word as they should. When they do this they begin to stray.

Some lack the courage to say no to non-Christian friends. They yield to the old life and become victims of Satan’s snares.

We must guard our devotional life diligently, drawing near to God daily. We must take our stand boldly for God, staying away from Satan’s territory. James 4:7,8 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

Don’t Stoop
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Rom. 12:21
A. The morals of our world are at an all-time low. Violence, illicit sex, alcohol and drug abuse, dishonesty and corruption in government bear this out.
B. Millions have relaxed their morals standards because they are spiritually slack. Christ will lift and restore those who repent and forsake their sins.
C. Christians must not condone evil, “but overcome evil with good.” Assisting the less fortunate and sharing Christ with the lost will help us avoid Satan’s snares.

Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

As we come to the end of another year, once again we find ourselves in a world filled with problems, doubts, worries, and fears. We sing “Joy to the world,” but there is not as much joy as we would like. Too many unhappy people walk our city streets. People today aren’t as cheerful as they ought to be. If we ask a dozen people “Why aren’t you more cheerful?” the answers we get are liable to be some form of “Bah, humbug!”
“You don’t know what I’m going through.”

“How can I can be cheerful when my marriage is falling apart?”

“God seems so far away.”

Are you doing all in Gods will? Is it by Gods will that you are where you are today ? Do you even care to know his will for your present situation?

The man in our text today did not just ask what he wanted, But he ask if Gods will he can heal him, ...what a prayer... How many of us want to know Gods will before accusing God of not answer us timely.

Brethren whatever your prayer point and however painful your situation, if it is not rooted in the will of God, God will not answer, no wonder Jesus says in Mark 3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

The supremacy of God can never be question, he does things as it pleases him.

Fayose Prostrates Flat on the Floor at Deeper Life Church; says "I Will Sin No More"

Wife of the governor of Ekiti State, Mrs Feyisetan Fayose, has revealed the travails she and her husband went through for eight years after they were sacked from Government House on October 16, 2006.

Speaking at a thanksgiving testimony at the Deeper Life Bible Church in Ado Ekiti today, she said:

“God revealed to me that my husband, Mr Ayodele Fayose will return as the governor, but he never told me the time. God told me that our return would be done in such a way that will beat the people’s imagination. But because of the trouble we went through, at a time I prayed to God to please push my husband out of politics. Later, God told me that He will leave him there for Him to prove His power.

In his own testimony during the service, Fayose said

“Having a second chance is very rare. If this time has been in Bible days, my name would have been one of the names to be recorded as those who God gave a second chance. “My return to government is not common in history. It is a rare miracle. During the seven and half years of my political wilderness, I was taken to Court over what I knew and knew nothing about 59 times aside the 45 days I spent in Ikoyi Prisons during my trial by the EFCC.

“My Security aides and political aides like Chief Dayo Okondo were incarcerated for three and half years without committing any offence. I won’t allow sycophants to derail me again. Boko Haram splits into 2 Factions over Peace with Presidency

Following the ceasefire deal the Federal Government entered into with Boko Haram, the violent sect has split into two. While one faction wants peace, the other doesn’t.

It was gathered on Sunday that the Federal Government might have entered into the ceasefire with only the faction interested in the cessation of hostilities in the North-East.
"The Boko Haram faction that carried out the attack is the one that wants the insurgency to continue. It is made up of hardcore elements who believe their goal of imposing Sharia on the whole country has not been achieved and for them, the violence must continue until they win the war or perish in their quest."
A reliable source in government told PUNCH in Abuja that the leaders of the pro-peace faction of the sect were the ones who took part in the negotiations with representatives of the Chadian, Cameroonian and Federal Government in Ndjamena last week.

FG and Boko Haram reps are expected to finalize the ceasefire at another meeting on Tuesday.

The source said he believed the attacks on Shafa in Borno State and Sina, Adamawa State on Friday, could have been carried out by the faction not be interested in ending the violence.

There had been reports of disagreements among the top members of the sect following the clamour by some of its commanders for an end to the insurgency.

A yet to be verified report had said some sect members died a few weeks ago in a shoot-out between the pro-peace and the pro-Jihad factions.

Nigerian military is however keeping its side of the peace deal by suspending all hostilities against the insurgents, PUNCH learnt.

This, according to a top military source, was a direct outcome of a directive issued by the Chief of Defence Staff, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh. He had on Friday ordered the suspension of all on-going aerial and ground offensives against the sect.
“One cannot say the peace deal has been violated; it is the nature of most terrorist organisations to act that way, and it should be expected because they have several layers of operation. They have such a long chain that it takes time for them to communicate with the top unlike the military where you are very quick communication channels.

“Another thing is that each of the cells operates independent of the other. So those who carried out the attacks in the villages in might not even be aware of the deal,” the source added.

For many husbands, wives can be downright confusing. One night, a husband looks at his wife with puppy dog eyes and suggests romance. She replies in frustration, “Not tonight. Is sex all you men think about?” A few nights later in that very same bed, she might say, “You just watch TV and go to bed. Don’t you find me attractive anymore?”

Make talk time a daily habit. Don’t allow yourself to become so busy that you can’t spend 15 minutes a day talking with your wife. By the way, the last 15 minutes of your day when you’re utterly exhausted don’t count. If possible, use dinnertime as a place for conversation. If dinner doesn’t work, maybe it’s a five minute phone call at lunch and 10 minutes sitting on the sofa in the evening.

Act interested in what your wife has to say. Notice I wrote “act.” I know the things we wives talk about can be boring, long-winded, dramatic or illogical (or all of the above). But if you simply act as if you care about what we’re saying, it means the world to us. Just picture yourself in a board room listening to a boring presentation by your boss. You would still act interested out of respect for your boss. Act interested in your wife’s comments, not always because the conversation is riveting, but because you love your wife.

Hug, cuddle, and kiss throughout the day. Remember the affectionate way you would hold her hand, put your arms around her waist, and kiss her softly while you were engaged? Do that again and again. Remind yourself to romance and court her physically with a steady flow of affection. But remember, the goal of all your hugging and cuddling isn’t to have sex that night. It’s simply to be physically close (which will naturally lead to more sex throughout the week).

Write her a love note. It doesn’t have to be pure poetry to make her heart flutter. Write down the things you appreciate about her. Why are you glad you married her? Did she do something last week that you really liked? How is she doing a good job as a mother?

A man who claimed to be representing Boko Haram sect spoke in Hausa language regarding the ongoing dialogue between the sect and the Nigerian government in an attempt to free abducted Chibok girls and negotiate a final ceasefire between Boko Haram and the Nigerian military.

SaharaReporters posted the full transcript of the words said by Danladi Ahmadu who on Friday announced ceasefire on behalf of Boko Haram.

I am Danladi Ahmadu and a member of the group and also working as internal chief security officer. Apart from security work, I am working as a senior advisor in the group.

First I wish to explain to you to know that, Imam Shekau is not dead as claimed because recently there was even communication and so he is alive.

On the girls that we took from Chibok, all that we want before we free the girls is to get justice from the Nigerian state because there are many of our members that their business premises were destroyed, some killed and others in detention and many other oppression.

Our people under detention are too many and they did nothing and many of them are just ordinary members.

The girls are fine, they are eating food and in good shape except challenges of reading in the camp. It is a lie that they are exposed to serial abuses, they are fine and in good health condition.

All that we want to say is, it is not everything happening that is from us; some criminals are carrying their own act in the name of our group.

Regarding the cease fire, we are talking and it will continue when some people deeply involved are back from their trips. We are discussing with Nigerian government and it is one Hassan that is leading the team.

He is directly working with Nigerian President and we will continue talking when our own people return. When it is clear the girls will be free and the world will see.

By the special grace of God we have cease fire and by the grace of God we will in the future create avenue and people will hear it directly from our leader, Imam Shekau.

Boko Haram’s “Representative” In Ceasefire Talks Bogus, Says Salkida

Ahmad Salkida, a journalist with access to some top leaders of Boko Haram, has alleged that a man named Danladi Ahmadu, who reportedly represented the Islamist group in ceasefire negotiations with the Nigerian government, is bogus and an impostor.


Mr. Salkida, who is currently in self-exile, asserted that Mr. Ahmadu was not authorized to speak on behalf of Boko Haram or the group’s leader, Abubakar Shekau. He added that the Nigerian government was caught in the hoax of negotiating with an impostor.

According to him, it is the Islamist sect that ought to announce a ceasefire and not the Nigerian government since it was Boko Haram that declared war on the Nigerian state.

Mr. Salkida made these assertions in a series of tweets in his twitter handle monitored by our correspondent in Abuja. “Where in the world will a government say they killed Shekau, two weeks later, met a delegation sent by the same Shekau to discuss a ceasefire? If we are Chinese, some people claim Shekau is a title and ‘Boko Haram’ always finds his look-alike to assume Shekau each time they kill him? Haba! When we said Shekau was alive two weeks ago, we were nearly crucified here. Now the Federal Government agrees Danladi Ahmadu speaks for Shekau? Is Shekau mutating?” he wrote on twitter.
Mr. Salkida continued: “I challenge Danladi Ahmadu to an open debate if he has d interest of Nigeria at heart. Who is he? Where was he pre-2009? Why is he leading this? The name Danladi, based on ‘Boko Haram’ ideology, is ‘filthy.’ It refers to ‘someone born on Sunday,’ unlike the norm of picking strictly Muslim names. Sadly, no town taken by BH has been reclaimed [by Nigerian troops] beyond media-derived hype. Show us the video or pictures. Take reporters there. Simple.

“I don't care if it is Idriss Deby or whoever; Danladi Ahmadu is NOT part of ‘Boko Haram’ Shura [governing council] [nor] speaks for them as far as I know. It also appears that govt is more interested in shadows and bubbles, than in substance and clearheaded engagement with the ‘Boko Haram’ ideology.”

Mr. Salkida explained that his parents were displaced because of the insurgency, adding that he was speaking based on facts. He advised the government to desist from tagging Nigerians ‘APC’ members for daring to state the facts.

He tweeted that the present rhetoric about a ceasefire with Boko Haram showed that the Nigerian government and military had no clear understanding of the sect’s ideology and principles.

Less than 24 hours after ostensibly agreeing to the ceasefire, Islamist terrorists carried out two attacks on communities in Borno State. More than 15 people died in the separate attacks, with houses and other property destroyed as well. The timing of the attacks seemed designed to undermine the spreading news that Boko Haram had inked a ceasefire deal.

Suspected Boko Haram militants kill nine in 2 villages despite ‘ceasefire’

On the day Nigeria announced a ceasefire agreement with Boko Haram jihadists, the militants attacked a Nigerian village, killing several people.


On Saturday, they launched yet another attack on another village, all in Borno state.

According to Reuters, the insurgents attacked the village of Abadam on Friday night, killing at least one person and ransacking homes, while another attack on the village of Dzur on Saturday morning left at least eight people dead.

Nigeria’s armed forces chief, Air Chief Marshal Alex Badeh, announced on Friday a deal with Boko Haram for a ceasefire that would enable the release of girls whose abduction in the remote northeastern town of Chibok in April caused international shock and outrage.

Nigeria had announced a similar agreement in the past, but it turned out government had struck the deal with the wrong people.

According to experts close to the conflict, any serious ceasefire would require having Abubakar Shekau or any other leader of the movement at the negotiating table.

It's a bit of a predicament. The Vatican has asked Turkish authorities to allow them access to the book for examination. The big question is: will they accept it as evidence, deny its validity, or call it a “Muslim lie” as “Truth” Magazine did in 2000?

To many people, this book is seen as a cause for hope. But what does this mean for atheists? Is it a real text or a hoax? And does it even really matter? With any luck, this newly discovered text will force theologians to ask deeper questions about their faiths instead of believing it without thinking. Only time will tell. In the meantime, keep an open mind, be respectful of the beliefs of others, and remember that it's our responsibility to take care of one another and this place we call home.

NYSC 2014 Batch C N4000 Online Call Up Letter 'Trap' ...And Mobilisation Schedule

Is the NYSC online call-up letter initiative any better than the critics have said about it?

A lot has been said about the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC)'s decision to give prospective corps members access to their call up letters online, after paying a compulsory N4,000 fee

Dissent against the decision came from all quarters, including the House of Representatives, the National Association of Polytechnics Students (NAPS) and the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS).

After much public complaint, the lawmakers said thought the idea is laudable, "the decision requiring fresh graduates to cough out N4,000 to access letters appears insensitive and exploitative."

But is seems the NYSC has forged ahead with the plan.

An article on its website still reads states that "with effect from 2014 Batch ‘C’ mobilisation exercise, mobilisation processes will be online" and indicated that "online registration for NYSC 2014 Batch ‘C’ service will commence on the 20th August 2014 and end on 12th October 2014."

It is however important to note that it is still optional, but the corp adds that "with effect from 2015 Batch ‘A’ all prospective Corps members have to print their Call-up letters online."

There seems to be problems already, going by an announcement by the Corps published in some online platforms:

“The management of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) wishes to inform all 2014 batch C prospective corps members especially those who are yet to receive/see their call-up numbers that:

If you did online registration November ending or earlier and you are yet to receive/see your call-up number, your records presented by your institution to NYSC have some issues. Such records have been sent back to institutions for correction. As soon as they effect and send back the clean records, all those affected will receive/see their call-up numbers.

If you registered October, your data is being processed now. As soon as NYSC finishes the processing, you will receive/see your call-up numbers.

If you registered online and your institution did not present your data OR you did not register online even if your institution presented your data to NYSC, please know that there will be NO call-up number for you hence you will not join this Batch C. You wait till next batch (Batch A 2015) but your payment will be valid till that time for those who have paid.”
Going by item 3, it means that prospective corp members may have to still return to their schools to ensure that their data are presented to the NYSC, correctly, or risk being pushed to future batches.

This is a 'trap' that can be used to excuse a lot of inept people's actions.

If registration will be done online and paid for, then the NYSC should find a way of ensuring that the institutions follow time table and submit correct data.

Telling the prospective corp members that "You wait till next batch" is not fair.

It is unacceptable.

Pastor R*pes 19yrs old girl during spiritual cleansing (Pictured)

Pastor Anthony Arogunmasa, a popular preacher in Ikere-Ekiti has been arrested for alleged r*pe of a 19yrs old girl, who he is claiming is his girlfriend.

The tearful victim said the 29-year-old cleric lured her into his Araromi Street, Ikere-Ekiti residence under the pretence of giving her spiritual cleansing. In her words:

“I was just meeting the pastor for the first time in my life. He approached me and told me that I needed some spiritual cleansing. He said that God instructed him to ensure that the spiritual cleansing was done for me. I fell for him because I saw people calling him pastor.
“He took me to his house and gave me a candle and soap and asked me to start praying. He also brought out certain ob­jects which he said were prayer items for the spiritual cleansing. In the course of the prayers, he asked me to remove my cloth­ing and just tie a wrapper and I obliged. It wasn’t long after that he suddenly jumped on me and eventually had carnal knowl­edge of me forcefully…

Though the young pastor confessed to having carnal knowledge of the victim, the suspect said that the girl is his girlfriend. He said, “It is true that I slept with her on September 23, but I didn’t do it forcefully because she has always been my girlfriend”

We have a medical proof and during our investigation, we dis­covered that the victim couldn’t have been a girlfriend to the suspect as he (pastor) claims. You can imagine that he doesn’t know the names of the lady, nor where she lives or any of her friends or relations and he claims to be the lady’s boyfriend. How is that possible?

BREAKING NEWS: Boko Haram To Bring Back Our Adopted Girls Alive, Unharmed On Monday »

There are strong indications that the 218 schoolgirls abducted six months ago in Chibok, Borno State, by the violent Boko Haram sect may be released on Monday.The Federal Government, through the Nigerian military, had on Friday said that it had agreed to a ceasefire with the violent sect and that the Chibok girls would soon be released. And now according to a new report on PUNCH, the President’s Principal Secretary, Hassan Tukur, told BBC Focus on
Africa that an agreement to end the Boko Haram hostilities had been reached after one month of negotiations in Saudi Arabia. The negotiation was said to have been headed by the Chadian President Idriss Deby.

Tukur said Boko Haram announced a unilateral ceasefire on Thursday and the government had responded. He said:

“The Boko Haram members have assured us that they have the girls and that they will release them. I am cautiously optimistic.”

Tukur and Danladi Ahmadu, who calls himself the Secretary-General of Boko Haram, told VOA’s Hausa-language service that the abducted girls would be released on Monday in Chad.

The girls are alive and “in good condition and unharmed,” Ahmadu said.

No Religion In Education Lagos Hijab Ban Upheld ...Court Dismisses Muslim Students' Suit

A suit by two Muslim students contesting the Lagos state government ban of Hijab in public schools has been dismissed by an Ikeja High Court today.

An Ikeja High Court has upheld the Lagos State Government (LASG) ban on the wearing of hijab (female head scarf worn by Muslim women) by students in public primary and secondary schools in the state.

Justice Modupe Onyeabo, delivered the judgement today (Friday), NAN reports.

On May 27, 2013, two 12-year-old female members of the Muslim Students of Nigeria (MSN), Lagos State Area Unit had instituted a suit against the hijab ban, announced in 2013.

In their suit, the plaintiffs prayed the court to recognise the ban as discriminatory and a violation of their rights to freedom of thought, religion and education.

But Justice Onyeabor dismissed the suit on the grounds that the prohibition of wearing of Hijab is not discriminatory and does not violate sections 38 and 42 of the 1999 constitution.

“The non-Hijab wearing students will feel inferior to those who are putting on Hijab.

“The values of plurality and the respect for the rights of others who have subscribed to a non-faith based educational system cannot be breached.

“In that effect, the issue is resolved in favour of the respondents and the suit is accordingly dismissed,’’ Onyeabor said.

She said uniform are prescribed for the purpose of ensuring uniformity and to allow every student pursue their academic aspirations devoid of religious affiliations.

Breaking News: Nigeria and Boko Haram Agree Ceasefire

Islamist militant group Boko Haram and the Federal Government have agreed to a ceasefire.

Chief of Defense Staff Alex Badeh issued an order Friday, telling all service chiefs “to comply with the ceasefire agreement between Nigeria and Boko Haram in all theaters of operations.”

The text went out after Danladi Ahmadu, who calls himself the secretary-general of Boko Haram, told VOA that a cease-fire agreement had been reached.

Earlier, Ahmadu and a close advisor to President Goodluck Jonathan, Ambassador Hassan Tukur, told VOA that the sides were holding talks in Saudi Arabia, aided Chadian President Idriss Deby and high-level officials from Cameroon.

It would be recalled that earlier today there were insinuations of a meeting being held between the Federal government and the Islamic sect.

Those talks also focused on the release more than 200 girls abducted by Boko Haram six months ago. There was no immediate word on the fate of the girls.

Ahmadu, who said he is at a location on the Nigerian-Chadian border, said the girls are “in good condition and unharmed.”

On April 14, dozens of Boko Haram fighters stormed a secondary school in the remote northeastern village of Chibok, kidnapping around 270 girls. Fifty-seven managed to escape.

Boko Haram leader “Abubakar Shekau” later threatened to sell the remainder as slave brides, vowing they would not be released until militant prisoners were freed from jail.

Ahmadu would not elaborate on the conditions under which the girls would be freed. The Saudi government is not involved in the negotiations.

Nigerian President Jonathan has been criticized at home and abroad for his slow response to the kidnapping and for the inability of Nigerian troops to quell the violence by the militants, seen as the biggest security threat to Africa’s top economy and leading energy producer.

Boko Haram has said it is fighting to establish an Islamic state in Muslim-majority northern Nigeria.

The group has launched scores of attacks in the past five years, targeting markets, bus stations, government facilities, churches and even mosques. Militants recently took over some towns in the northeast for what the group’s leader said would be an Islamic caliphate.

The Nigerian military says the man who appeared in Boko Haram videos as Abubakar Shekau was actually an impostor, and that the real Shekau was killed several years ago.

It says the impostor was killed last month during a battle in the town of Konduga. A new video of the man appeared a few days later but the military has stood by its assertion that the Boko Haram leader is dead.

How to know if you are legitimate child of God is by accepting your fault and take correction from God and faithfully served discipline which God will give you.

Here are the top 10 home remedies for sneezing.

1. Peppermint Oil
If your sneezing is due to a stuffy nose, peppermint oil’s antibacterial properties can help.

Boil some water and add five drops of peppermint oil.
Cover you head with a towel and breathe in the steam coming from the boiling pot. Inhaling the steam will clear your nasal passages.
You can also inhale steam from boiling water mixed with a few drops of eucalyptus oil to get relief from sneezing induced by nasal irritation and colds.

2. Fennel Tea
Fennel has natural antibiotic and anti-viral properties that can fight off any upper respiratory infection, including sneezing.

Boil a cup of water, add two teaspoons of crushed fennel seeds and cover the pot. Soak the seeds for 10 to 15 minutes and then strain the liquid.
Drink two cups of this tea daily to reduce the frequency of sneezing.
When preparing fennel tea, never boil the water after adding the seeds to it. This will destroy the natural oils in the fennel.

3. Black Pepper
Something as simple as pepper can be the solution to sneezing and a runny nose.

Mix one-half tablespoon of pepper powder with lukewarm water. Drink it two to three times each day.
Gargling with warm water mixed with pepper also helps get rid of cold viruses and germs.
You can also eat soups and salads mixed with black pepper.

4. Chamomile Tea
A hot cup of chamomile tea is considered as one of the best home remedies for sneezing caused by allergies. It has excellent antihistamine properties that can provide instant relief.

Add one teaspoon of dried chamomile flowers to one cup of boiling water, continue boiling the tea for a few minutes. Add some honey to improve the flavor.

You can also use Echinacea and nettle tea and drink it two times daily.

5. Ginger
Ginger is one of the oldest and effective home remedies for the treatment of different viral and nasal problems including sneezing.

Consume 1 to 2 teaspoons of ginger extract twice a day until the sneezing stops.
Another option is to cut a small piece of ginger root into thin slices, put them in a cup of water and boil it for some time. Add a little honey for taste and drink the tea before going to bed. This will prevent sneezing at night.

6. Garlic
Garlic can easily fight off an upper respiratory infection due to its natural antibiotic and antiviral properties. It can be used internally or externally to get relief from excessive sneezing caused by a common cold infection.

Crush four to five garlic cloves to make a fine paste and then inhale its strong fragrance. This will help clear the nasal passages that cause sneezing and help you to breathe with ease.
