TOPIC: CHARACTERISTIC OF A DEDICATED LEADER (pt 2)

Text: Acts 6:1-7

II. A LEADER IS A CONSISTENT CHRISTIAN
He was a man “of honest report” (Acts 6:3) “look ye out among you seven men of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom,” The root of the word report is the same as that from which we derive the term “witness”. This is a rare characteristic in these days, but it is a New Testament standard for those who hold leadership responsibilities in the life of the church.

So many people call themselves witnesses, but are not honest. Deep down in their hearts they know they are not. Philip was a godly, consistent Christian. Can that be said of you? The sin of hypocrisy and inconsistency, on the part of Christians, has been a stumbling block to the lost world.

1. People Want Consistent Leaders, not wishy-washy, hot and cold.
2. Someone that always takes a stand.
3. Consistent means reliable, steady, dependant, unfailing.

III. A LEADER IS A CONSECRATED CHRISTIAN
He was “
…full of the Holy Ghost…” (Acts 6:3). In Old Testament times, the word consecration was used on the occasion of the installation of a priest to holy service. In New Testament teaching, consecration implies the filling of the life by the Holy Spirit. So we read that Philip was a man “…full of the Holy Ghost…” (Acts 6:3). Writing to pastors, members, husbands, wives, parents, children, servants and masters, the apostle Paul exhorted: “…be filled with the Spirit” (Eph. 5:18). To be a consecrated Christian begins with the filling with the Holy Spirit and this demands three actions of the believer.

1. Pray for forgiveness and cleansing of sin.
2. Pray for a God to fill you with His Spirit.
3. Be Sincere.

IV. A LEADER IS A COMMON-SENSE CHRISTIAN.
He was “…full of wisdom…” (Acts 6:3).
James 1:5 “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.”

DEAR LORD JESUS. CLEANS US FROM OUR SINFUL LIFE AND GIVE US HEART OF A DEDICATED LEADER IN JESUS NAME.

Text: Acts 6:1-7

I. A LEADER IS A COMMITTED CHRISTIAN
1) A Changed Mind:
“Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.” (Acts 2:38).

2) A Clean Heart “
…Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins…” Baptism is the outward expression of an inward cleansing. That cleansing only comes through faith in the Savior who shed His blood for the remission of sins.

3) A Controlled Will: “
…ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost”
This receiving of the Spirit is more than just a quickening to life: it means handing over the reins of one’s life to the indwelling of the Spirit. All this had happened to Philip. That is why he was a committed Christian and a disciple of Jesus Christ.

Unfortunately, our churches are filled with members who “have never left the ground.” They have been sitting there for years and years. They are always “prepping,” getting ready. They are going to get busy. They have been planning on it, meaning to, wanting to, trying to, going to, aiming to, hoping to. But they have never left the ground!

Proverbs 17:17

I. Introduction
One thing that never changes is the NEED for Friendship:
Prov. 17:17 - "A FRIEND loveth at all times….."
How would YOU evaluate YOURSELF as a Friend???
There is a story in the Word of God about Friendship - allow me to share.

II. The Healing of the Paralytic (Mark 2:1-12)
READ - Mark 2:1-12
In this story we find 3 Kinds of Friends:
The Helpless One
The Helping Ones
The Healing One

The Helpless One – man who sick of the palsy - completely paralyzed; unable to help himself; dependent upon others.
There will always be those who are less fortunate than YOU.
There will always be those who must depend upon others.
There will always be choices to make concerning such people.

The Helping Ones - four (4) friends who helped their paralyzed friend..
These four (4) provide us an example of True Friendship -
Notice 3 Aspects of Their Friendship -
Their Motive - No selfishness. They were simply concerned; compassionate; & caring!
Their Method - Required a Joint-Effort; Cooperation; No Jealousy - "Each Man Had a CORNER to Bear" - If any of the four (4) failed to do his part, the job would not get done.

"Doing your best is more important than being the best!"

Their Manner - They were Persistent; Overcame Obstacles; Did not give up!
It has been said, "Some people make enemies instead of friends because it is less trouble."

The Healing One - The Lord Jesus Christ
I would not be much of a friend to you if I did not take one more opportunity to tell you about the greatest Friend of All - Jesus Christ.
Like the four Helping Ones who bore their Helpless friend, Jesus Bore YOUR Sins and Mine upon Calvary’s Cross!
His Motive was simple: He Loves YOU & me.

His Method was that of cooperation with the Father as He "Bore His Corner" and lay down His life for our sins.
His Manner was the same as the four Helping Ones - He did not allow Satan’s attempts to deter Him from accomplishing His task! He drank of the bitter Cup and "for the glory set before Him, He endured the cross, despising the shame!
"A man that hath friends must show himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother." Prov. 18:24
"Greater Love hath no man than this - that a man lay down His life for his friend!" - John 15:13

My sincere desire is that each of YOU will consider making HIM your greatest Friend of all.

"The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way (Psalms 37:23)

It is the nature of mankind to think that his destiny is in his own hands. He believes that all he needs to do is to carefully plan his life, and it will be full and fruitful. Certainly, it is wonderful to have parents who look ahead and make provisions for our future. But, as the Bible says in Jeremiah 10:23, "O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. 24O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing."

God guides the steps of His children who seek His direction.

We should always seek divine direction.

1. BECAUSE GOD SEES ALL
A. Our vision is limited. We do not know what may be hiding around the corner.
B. "Ye know not what shall be on the morrow" (James 4:14).
C. But, God even knows the number of hairs on our heads (see Luke 12:7).
D. ‘The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth" (2 Chr. 16:9).
E. Not even one sparrow falls to the ground that God does not know about.
F. Our God, who sees everything at once, will guide our lives for us, as well.

2. BECAUSE GOD KNOWS ALL
A. When we commit our lives to the Lord and daily seek His divine direction, then we may be sure that everything in our pathway is working together for our good (see Rom. 8:28).
B. There will be many things in our life span that we do not understand because our knowledge Is limited, but God knows best.
C. When we are at home with Him in heaven, we will look back on life. Then, with perfect knowledge, we will thank Him for everything that has happened to us.

3. BECAUSE GOD HAS ALL POWER
A. We are creatures and, therefore, very limited in power.
B. There are powerful forces, both human and demonic, at work against mankind - - especially against those who are saved, have the mark of God upon them, and have committed our lives to God.
C. These evil forces would destroy us if we were without the protecting power of God and His promise that He will never leave us or forsake us (see Heb. 13:5).
D. God orders His children’s steps, and He always provides where He leads.

DEAR LORD, GUIDE US TOWARD THE RIGHT CHOICE OF LIFE IN JESUS NAME

Some have made a good start but have come to a bad stop in the Christian life. Satan attracts, distracts, and attacks through his subtility.

No problem is too difficult, no trial is too severe, no burden is too heavy for the Christian, because God’s help and grace are sufficient.

God is more than a match for Satan, and we are more than conquerors through Him.

Rom. 8:37-39 “Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.”

Don’t Stoop
“Be not overcome of evil, but overcome evil with good.” Rom. 12:21

The morals of our world are at an all-time low. Violence, illicit sex, alcohol and drug abuse, dishonesty and corruption in government bear this out.

Millions have relaxed their morals standards because they are spiritually slack. Christ will lift and restore those who repent and forsake their sins.

Christians must not condone evil, “but overcome evil with good.” Assisting the less fortunate and sharing Christ with the lost will help us avoid Satan’s snares.

So brethren don't stop your good work, continue and all shall be well, it may look bad, discourage and not pleasant now. Keep on the good work

Don’t Strut
“Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.” Prov. 16:18

Some Christian lack humility. They desire the praise and honor of people, rather than the approval of God. “For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.” John 12:43
Jesus, our example was humble. He declared that he could do nothing by Himself, but He depended on the Father. He pleased His Father.

We must be humble too. We avoid Satan’s snares by doing those things that are pleasing to God and by giving Him first place in our lives. James 4:10 “Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.”

Always know this that devil (Satan) does not have any other work he does than looking for you and all he want that is giving him sleepless night is to get you to hell. Get you misbehave and offend, God, so in your dealing today, don't fall victim of his evil and fall into Satan snare.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS, SEND YOUR LIGHT TO OUR DARKEST PART AND KEEP US FROM FALLING DAILY.

Text: 1 Peter 5:8 “Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:”

Who better than Peter would know about the prowlings of Satan! Several times Jesus warned Peter that Satan was after him, but he failed to heed the warning. Too many Christians have “gone to sleep,” opening the way for Satan to work.

Don’t Stray
“Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word.” Ps. 119:67

A. Christians sometime neglect their prayer life, and they fail to study God’s Word as they should. When they do this they begin to stray.

B. Some lack the courage to say no to non-Christian friends. They yield to the old life and become victims of Satan’s snares.

C. We must guard our devotional life diligently, drawing near to God daily. We must take our stand boldly for God, staying away from Satan’s territory.

James 4:7,8 “Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you. 8Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.”

All am reminding you this morning is to be vigilant and don't allow devil to ensnare you.
please don't stray away, the mighty are falling and many people love for the Lord is getting cold, hold fast to your faith, be strong in the lord, it shall be well with you

TEXT: Matthew 6:16-18

All believers can multiply their effectiveness in prayer by utilizing the discipline of fasting.

Why should we fast?
1. We fast in obedience to Jesus’ teaching. (Matt. 6:16-18)
2. We fast to demonstrate our dependence upon God. (James 4:10, 1Cor 9:24-27)
3. We fast to demonstrate repentance from sin (and to intercede for others who need to repent). (Jonah 3:5-10, Daniel 9, Nehemiah 1)
4. We fast to receive God’s wisdom and direction. (Acts 13:1-3, 14:21-23)
5. We fast to receive deliverance in times of crisis. (2Chronicles 20).

Having the right tool, and knowing when to use it, is critical to the success of a building project. Fasting and prayer is a powerful tool to use when needed.

it's a pity how many Christian has lost their authority, we left the source and weapon of spiritual war and running after fake, how disappointing it is for Christian to be engaging in ritualism, visiting herbalist and making all kind sof charm to get power or protection.

Fasting empower our spiritual man to be strong for a desirable victory from the most high God Almighty. So brethren take your issue to God in fasting and you will be happy.

Wherein lies the key to true happiness?
We live in a time where boredom, depression and other forms of unhappiness are rampant.
Is there some basic principle which determines success in finding happiness?

The Book of Psalms with its very first psalm shares with us a key principle that can ensure true happiness as follow...

Notice the very first word of the first psalm - "Blessed..."
This psalm describes "The Truly Happy Man"

1) "Walks not in the counsel of the ungodly"
a) He does not take their counsel as to how to
b) He does not follow the advice of those who are sinful

2) "Nor stands in the path of sinners"
a) He does not linger where sinners are known to go
b) For the temptation to go with them would be great

3) "Nor sits in the seat of the scornful"
a) He does not join himself with those who ridicule and mock those trying to do right
b) Which sinners often do to fortify their conduct and
defend their actions

1. GOD CANNOT CHANGE BUT MEN ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE

2. MEN CAN LIE BUT GOD CANNOT LIE

Hebrews 6: 18 - That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

3. MEN CAN FAIL BUT GOD CANNOT FAIL

Romans 4: 21 - And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

4. GOD IS FAITHFUL … MEN ARE NOT FAITHFUL

Hebrews 11: 11 - Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

5. GOD IS A FINISHER

Isaiah 40: 28 - Hast thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding.

Hebrews 12: 2 - Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God

6. GOD IS OMNISCIENT … MAN IS LIMITED IN HIS KNOWLEDGE

Hebrews 4: 13 – Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.

1 John 3: 20 - For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knoweth all things.

7. GOD CANNOT FORGET HIS PROMISE BUT MEN CAN EASILY FORGET THEIR PROMISE

Isaiah 49: 15-16 – Can a woman forget her sucking child, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget thee. Behold, I have graven thee upon the palms of my hands; thy walls are continually before me.

Genesis 18: 1 - And God remembered Noah, and every living thing, and all the cattle that was with him in the ark: …

Genesis 19: 29 - And it came to pass, when God destroyed the cities of the plain, that God remembered Abraham,…

Genesis 30: 22 - And God remembered Rachel, and God hearkened to her, and opened her womb.

Exodus 2: 24 - And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

8. GOD CANNOT AND WILL NEVER BETRAY OUR CONFIDENCE

Hebrews 13: 5 - Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

No matter how good a man is, you cannot compare him with God.

Jeremiah 17: 5-6 - “Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD. For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good cometh; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.”

Jeremiah tells us here the consequences of trusting in man. It brings curse and dryness.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. [2] In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so , I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. Story of alleged plan by the Presidency to ensure Muhammadu Buhari of the APC do not take over from the incumbent President Goodluck Jonathan is spreading fast in the media. According to the gist, they have seen that Buhari is coasting home to victory and are plotting to bring in the military.

But the Nigerian Army has denied any knowledge of plans by the Chief of Army Staff and serving senior officers to establish an interim government in the event that the opposition party, the All Progressives Congress (APC), wins the February 14 presidential contest.

The denial, in a press statement on Tuesday, related directly to reports by Sahara Reporters on Monday that some top army officers were privy to the plans.

Sources had disclosed that a multi-pronged approach has been put in place to frustrate the successful hosting of the presidential election, scheduled to hold in less than two weeks, including using elements within the armed forces...

The Army bristled at the report.

"Any discerning mind would notice that these false and baseless allegations are calculated attempts by unpatriotic elements to divide the Nigerian Army, create disaffection among its ranks and distract the service from its avowed constitutional duty of defending the territorial integrity of our great nation," it said in the statement, which was signed by Colonel Sani Kukasheka Usman, the Acting Director of Army Public Relations.

"These efforts are renewed attempts by the same faceless groups who since last year have made futile efforts to politicize ongoing Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Insurgency operations of the Nigerian Army and other security agencies,” it said.

The Army further went on to disparage and question the credibility of some letters addressed to President Goodluck Jonathan by concerned members of the Nigerian Army and copied to SaharaReporters. They attributed the failure of Operation Zaman Lafiya, the counter-insurgency operation in the Northeast, to corruption within the upper echelons of the military.

The army maintained that the most recent of these letters, published on January 31, was fraudulent. The letter, which was received by SaharaReporters editorial staff, made the case that Nigeria's army could not manage the insurgency crisis because of internal issues. It went further to encourage the United States and the United Nations to intervene.

"It will be recalled that late last year, the same group using the stolen identity of a serving Lieutenant Colonel, wrote a petition to the President making all sorts of unfounded allegations,” the press statement said, adding that the letter was “thoroughly investigated” by relevant security agencies.

"The findings indicated that the petition was indeed the handiwork of faceless and unpatriotic individuals who seek to distract the Nigerian Army," the statement said.

Sahara Reporters reacts, saying they reject the imputations contained in the press statement. "Reporting what we know and being disloyal are two different things. We are not disloyal to Nigeria, and we are passionate about the success of the Nigerian Army in its counter-terrorism efforts.

"We will continue to work with the Army to enlighten the public about its difficult counter-terrorism operation. On January 29, for instance — two days before the latest letter in reference came to light — Sahara Reporters invited General Olukolade to appear on SaharaTV as part of its election election coverage, an offer he accepted."

It took us several days to come up with Pastor Yemi Osinbajo for this very reason— after selecting an excellent presidential candidate, we ensured that our vice presidential candidate is “twice as good” in the event that the evil one gets to him.

Nigerians north and south, east and west, home and abroad are happy with the leadership package of Buhari-Osinbajo. In fact we can let either of them lead us at anytime interchangeably. Both men are incorruptible, God-fearing, known for their integrity; smart, astute, full of wisdom and global experience; sharp, strong, promising and noble. Bpth men have no issues making the right choices from “contradictory advise.” And most importantly, unlike our error selecting a man who lied that he had no shoes and whose family was already indicted by the EFCC for attempting to launder the money of the people of Bayelsa; both these presidential men know the meaning of corruption and that stealing is corruption and corruption is stealing.

Boyfriend kills Ex-Girlfriend & Rich Lover on their Wedding Day

I wonder why some guys will want to kill themselves because of one woman with so many ladies out there looking for a man to show them love. This is crazy! A man who was angry after he was ditched by his girlfriend caused serious tragedy in the Ukala community of Delta State on Saturday, January 31, 2015 when he stormed the wedding venue of his ex-girlfriend, and shot the couple to death.

It is was the girl's mother that brought in a rich man for her daughter to dump her guy and marry him.

The angry guy went further to shoot sporadically at the guests who were gathered to witness the event and eventually killed the bride’s mother in the process...

The venue of the ill-fated wedding, which was also to serve as reception for the guests, was laid waste when trouble started immediately after the couple’s first dance.

The bride who was simply identified as Stephanie, was a graduate of Office Management and Technology from one of the polytechnics in the state. It was learnt that she had walked up to her ex-boyfriend simply identified as Teddy to inform him that she was tired of their relationship which had lasted for eight years without leading them to the altar.

Some sources in the know disclosed that her intention was to make Teddy propose to marry her with since they had both secured jobs.

After receiving the news, Teddy was said to have started nurturing plans to finally settle down with her. Things took new turns however, when her mum suddenly appeared with a UK-based businessman who arrived Nigeria in December 2014 and introduced him to Stephanie.

The deceased bride’s mum told her that the United Kingdom-based Nigerian man was in dire need of a wife and Stephanie who was desperate to settle down welcomed the idea since virtually all her mates were married.

They started plans to tie the knot as soon as practicable without knowledge of the unforeseen danger ahead.

Unfortunately they could not live to tell the story of their big day as the bride’s angry ex-lover decided to nip the relationship in the bud by killing them halfway into their wedding ceremony. How sad!

THE GAME IS ON: Plot to Postpone the Election Commences

There is fire on the mountain, everything is being done to truncate this election. the question is why? From what OluFamous.Com gathered, the secret deal is to get Attahiru Jega out of INEC at all cost.
In a dramatic shift, 16 minor political parties on Tuesday threw their support behind the wicked call for the postponement of Nigeria’s general elections slated for February, 2015.

In addition, five of the 14 presidential candidates signed a joint statement urging the electoral commission to postpone the elections to a “more appropriate” date.

Although they do not have much to lose in the process, they threatened to boycott the elections if their wishes were not heeded...

The parties aligned their argument on the same lines being presented by pro-Jonathan groups, who fear they are about to lose the presidency, citing insecurity and distribution of Permanent Voter Cards (PVCs).
The parties involved are: the United Democratic Party (UDP), Citizen Peoples Party (CPP), Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN), Action Alliance (AA), Peoples Democratic Congress (PDC) (ACPN), Labour Party (LP), (MPPP), United Party of Nigeria (UPN), Alliance for Democracy (AD), (ADC), (ACD) Democratic Peoples Party (DPP), New Nigerian Peoples Party (NNPP) Peoples Party of Nigeria (PPN) and Independent Democrat (ID).

Referencing “some dangerous trends, which if not checked may negatively and adversely affect our democracy,” the 16 parties called on the government to take necessary steps to provide adequate security for Nigerians to go out and collect their PVCs in order to be able to exercise their civic and constitutional duty.

The five minor-party presidential candidates who endorsed the postponement are Godson Okoye (UDP), Chief Sam Okoye (CPP), Prince C.O Allagoe (PPN), Tunde Anifowose (AA) and Ganiu Galadima (ACPN).

It is unclear why 14 parties said they endorsed the postponement, but nine presidential candidates did not.

Earlier in the day, the All Progressives Congress, in two separate statements in Abuja and Lagos, warned against efforts and conspiracies to pre-empt the elections.

Pastors collected N6b to campaign against APC, Buhari - Amaechi

Gov Rotimi Amaechi, who is also the DG of the APC campaign organization has accused the PDP of paying some Christian clerics N6billion to campaign againts the APC and its presidential candidate, Gen Buhari. Amaechi made the allegation during the state's APC governorship candidate, Dr Dakuku Adol Peterside's campaign in Emohua local government area of Rivers State today.
"Some pastors collected N6 billion and they are circulating documents and telling you not to vote for an Hausa man, not to vote for a Muslim because they want to Islamise Nigeria. Tell them to return our N6 billion. They gave them N6 billion. They should return it to the Federal Government coffers. They will tell you that Buhari wants to Islamise Nigeria. Tell them we are too educated.
I am a Catholic, but no Catholic priest has told me that story right now in the Catholic Church, because I will ask him how. If any Pastor tells you that, tell him to return the money. Nobody can Islamise Nigeria. They have commercialized Jesus Christ. They should stop commercializing Jesus Christ. He is our Lord and Saviour. You know what Jesus Christ did in the temple. Who is like unto thee, O Lord , among the gods? who is like thee, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

God loves when His people give Him the praise. We as God's people need to daily learn the power of praise and thanksgiving.

When we give God praise, He is exalted, and He comes upon the scene. Just think about it: when we proclaim praise unto God - He inhabits and dwells in the midst of that praise.

Psalms 100:4 says - "Enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto Him, and bless His name." Praise and thanksgiving lifted up to God shows we are trusting in Him.

When I remember these things , I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.

Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.

When you and me learn how to praise God in any situation then our God almighty will show up in a mighty way.

He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the Lord .

The trusting Christian is the one who abides steadfast forever.
No doubting, no wavering, just trust. When we let God be God in our lives, we will see His will fulfilled in our lives.

When we learn to listen to God, and let His Holy Spirit lead us, there will be no room for doubt, because when you're led by the Spirit - all doubt and confusion has to flee. Trusting God is not a spectator sport - it is something that all of us as Christians are to be involved in daily, and fully.

If we truly want God's blessings abounding in our lives, then we need to be trusting Him, and knowing that He has us covered.

The mistake that many believers make, is that they try to figure things out in their own strength, and in their own understanding.
Guess what? - you can't do it in your own strength or understanding - because it is limited, and the flesh gets in the way. The flesh will try and talk you out of trusting in God. We can't use human reasoning or human "understanding" to try and figure how God is going to move in our life.

We have to fully trust in Him, and know it's ONLY HIM !

Proverbs 3:5-6 says - "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths."

There's the key - Don't lean on your undestanding, just trust God, and acknowledge that He is the One Who is working in your life.

As you step out today, Don't give God half-hearted trust - give Him whole-hearted trust.

TEXT: Psalms 125:1 "They that trust in the Lord shall be as mount Zion, which cannot be removed, but abideth for ever."

When we as believers trust completely in God, and let Him handle things, we will always come out on top of things, because our God never fails.
God always delivers, and He always has our best interests at heart. When we trust in God,
Psalms 125 says, we will be like the city of God - mount Zion, we will abide forever, and not be moved. Nothing will be able to shake us, or our faith.

Psalms 37:3-6 says - "Trust in the Lord, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed. Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in Him; and He shall bring it to pass. And He shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday."

When we trust in the Lord God, and commit our ways unto Him, He will bring every desire, and every good thing to come to pass in our lives. The key is, we need to learn to totally trust God, and not have even a hint of doubt in us.

God is faithful to those who are faithful to Him. When we trust God, He moves on our behalf. Just think about it: those that trust in the Lord God, have all heaven on their side
As you are going in the journey of this week, put all your trust in the lord, and believe God will see you through. Amen
