Prayer for Inner Healing.

Happy new moth to you friend. This is your morning meal. I hope your night was a great one.

This morning I want to lead you in

Prayer for Inner Healing.

Dear Lord Jesus, please come and heal my wounded and troubled heart. In Jesus name

I beg you to heal the torments that are causing anxiety in my life. I beg you, in a particular way, to heal the underlying source of my sinfulness. I beg you to come into my life and heal the psychological harms that struck me in my childhood and from the injuries they have caused throughout my life. In the mighty name of Jesus.

Lord Jesus, you know my burdens. I lay them on your Good Shepherd’s Heart. I beseech you—by the merits of the great open wound in your heart—to heal the small wounds that are in mine. Jesus Heal my memories, so that nothing that has happened to me will cause me to remain in pain and anguish, filled with anxiety. In Jesus name.

Heal, O Lord, all those wounds that have been the cause of evil that is rooted in my life. In Jesus name.

I want to forgive all those who have offended me. Look to those inner sores that make me unable to forgive. You who came to forgive the afflicted of heart, please, heal my wounded and troubled heart. In Jesus name.

Heal, O Lord Jesus, all those intimate wounds that are the root cause of my physical illness. I offer you my heart. Accept it, Lord, purify it and give me the sentiments of your Divine Heart. Right now in Jesus name.

Heal me, O Lord, from the pain caused by the death of my loved ones. Grant me to regain peace and joy in the knowledge that you are the Resurrection and the Life. Make me an authentic witness to your resurrection, your victory over sin and death, and your loving presence among all men. In Jesus precious name I prayed, Amen.

I wish you HAPPY NEW MONTH IT IS YOUR MONTH OF ALLROUND BREAKTHROUGH IN JESUS NAME.

HAVE A GOOD DAY. MY NAME IS PASTOR ISRAEL O ISRAEL.
LOVE YOU

Drama As Congregation Chases Lagos Pastor From Pulpit

Hell was let loose yesterday, Sunday, August 30, at the United Methodist Church, in the Oshodi area of Lagos.

The Punch reports that members of the church rejected their pastor and chased him away for allegedly impregnating his housemaid who is also a member of his church.

According to report, the pastor, Barkuma Andrew, was stopped from leading the church seven months ago when the housemaid, Grace, had complications after aborting the pregnancy. The pastor lives with his wife, children, wife’s cousin, Favour, and Grace in a three-bedroom flat inside the church premises.

It was reported that the members had pleaded with the Central Conference of the church in Taraba State to help look into the alleged incident. However, when the district did not do anything about it, the congregation sought the service of another pastor three weeks ago. The congregation got to church at about 10am yesterday for Sunday service only to see that Andrew and some “unknown” people had commenced the service.

This sprouted the anger of the members of the church as they chased pastor Andrew and his folks out of the church. Men from the Makinde police division, including the DPO, were said to have intervened after the incident was reported at the station. A member of the church and a former secretary to Andrew, Moses Sherima, said that the pastor sent his wife to her village when he impregnated Grace. He said:

“My room is opposite pastor’s apartment and I was his secretary. When he started dating that girl (Grace), I called his wife’s cousin, Favour, on the matter. She said Grace used to tell her whenever the pastor had sex with her. At a point, I had to move upstairs when I could no longer bear it. The day that abortion happened, I was sleeping inside my room when I heard Grace screaming. I rushed there and saw blood coming out from her private parts. When the wife came back from one of her numerous journeys, he told her to send Favour away.”

Another church member, John Komboroh, said the church was embarrassed by Andrew’s conduct, adding that they were tired of his leadership. He said:

“The petition of adultery against the pastor had been sent to the bishop at the Central Conference. He came here, but did not do anything about it. That was why we wrote to the main body, the Southern Conference to give us another pastor. His (Andrew’s) action is an embarrassment to us. We don’t want him again.”

The new pastor of the church, Reverend James Sunday, said:

“We were about to start our service this morning when we met the old pastor and some unknown people already holding the service. I calmed down my people to avoid chaos.”

Another resident and a female member, who identified herself only as Blessing, said the pastor had once made sexual advances to her.

“My husband is not always at home. The pastor would call me in the night and asked if I had slept. One day he entered my room and gave me a soft slap on my back. I had only the wrapper on me. I was surprised and told my neighbours.”

When contacted on the telephone around 1pm on Sunday, Andrew said he was in a meeting and promised to get back to The Punch on the incident. He told The Punch Metro that he was still at the meeting when he was called back around 5pm.

Meanwhile, a South African pastor, Pastor Peniel, is popularly known for a number of strange acts. He had fed his congregation live snake. He had turned human hair into food for the consumption of the church members.

He was arrested and charged with animal cruelty after feeding his congregants snake but he later released on bail and he said the South African police do not know who they are fighting.

Irate members of the EFF brigade had reportedly set the church ablaze about two weeks ago, vowing to feed Mnguni snakes and rodents, exactly as he had done to members of his ETDM church.

DELIVERANCE PRAYER

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL
This is a special meal for you to read to yourself and get yourself deliver from all evil forces

Deliverance Prayer

Heavenly Father I come to you now in Jesus’ name, to repent of all the sins in my life and also in the lives of my ancestors, that may have resulted in a curse. I repent of all disobedience, rebellion, mistreatment of others, lying, cheating, using or slandering your name in vain. I repent of all perversion, lust, incest, fornication, adultery, idolatry, all witchcraft, murder, and any occult involvement.

Heavenly Father, I ask for your forgiveness and cleansing through the blood of your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Lord Jesus I now take the authority you have given me and ask that you anoint me now as I command all demonic spirits of anger, rage, fear, depression, destruction, torment, guilt, bondage, vagabond, rejection, unforgiveness, bitterness, mind-control, double-mindedness, confusion, passivity, sickness, diseases, pain, fetter and all addictions to food, alcohol, drugs, sex, pornography, gambling, or nicotine to come out in the name of Jesus.

No demonic spirit is welcome in this holy temple!

I break all spoken curse and spells that may have been performed over my life and any curses resulting from involvement with Ouija board, Psychics, tarot cards, Horoscopes, secular music, or through TV, movies or pornography.

I break all curses off my family, marriage, children and relatives. I break every shackle, chain, cord, habit, craving, debt, soul-ties and any spirit that has tried to rob, kill, or destroy my life.

I command my family to be set free. I break every demonic assignment over my family. Satan, loose them now! In Jesus’ name! According to Galations 3:13, Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law.

Jesus Christ is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. I am now God’s child and through my Lord Jesus, I am able to cast down all demonic powers and spirits that come against me or in my family’s lives.

I am not cursed, but blessed! I am blessed coming in and blessed going out. I am above and not beneath. I am the head and not the tail. I am blessed and what God has blessed cannot be cursed. I am free, and I am saved. I have now exercised my faith and know that confession is made unto salvation (Romans 10:9,10). All of my sins have been remitted, and I am loosed from the curse that came as a result of disobedience and rebellion to the Word of God.

Thank you Heavenly Father, thank you Lord Jesus, thank you Holy Spirit for forgiving me and loving me. Thank you for setting me free from every curse and spirit that has operated in my life. Father God, I pray for discernment and for a new vision to help me recognize and resist all evil and all fleshly, worldly ways. I am anointed through the Lord Jesus Christ, and I thank you Jesus for your guidance and discipline as I continue to be a victorious soldier and holy child.

IN JESUS MIGHTY NAME, AMEN.

GODLY PRAYER, WITH FASTING, RELEASES BREAKTHROUGH SPIRITUAL POWER.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GODLY PRAYER, WITH FASTING, RELEASES BREAKTHROUGH SPIRITUAL POWER.

When Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Holy Spirit to be tempted by the devil, He entered into a prolonged season of prayer and FASTING - 40 days in all (without bread or water). And Luke records (4:14) that after that time He returned IN THE POWER OF THE SPIRIT.

Now Jesus was continually anointed of God (since His baptism) - but something was clearly released in a whole new dimension through that period of prayer and fasting. Otherwise Luke wouldn't have mentioned it the way that he does.

GODLY PRAYER, WITH FASTING, RELEASES BREAKTHROUGH SPIRITUAL POWER.

Now Jesus knew this great value of fasting, and it seems that He developed a lifestyle of prayer and fasting. It's clear He has been fasting prior to this incident with the demon-possessed boy (He cast it out and said the reason He is been able to was because this kind only come out by prayer and fasting. What's the implication? Jesus had been fasting.)

Jesus was ready for every occasion of life and ministry BECAUSE He developed a lifestyle of prayer with fasting. THERE IS GREAT POWER RELEASED THROUGH THESE PRINCIPLES.

Now you ask me WHY? Well, to be honest, I don't understand it all. But then there is a lot about prayer that is divine mystery. Why does God move in answer to prayer? Why does He require us to pray? I don't know! But I know the truth of it.

"PRAYER IS THE SIMPLEST FORM OF SPEECH THAT INFANT LIPS CAN TRY PRAYER THE SUBLIMEST STRAINS THAT REACH THE MAJESTY ON HIGH."

E.M. Bounds wrote: God cause is committed to men; God commits Himself to men.
PRAYING MEN are the vice regents of God; they do His work and carry out His plans.

I BELIEVE IN THE POWER OF PRAYER! I believe it is ordained of God! God does NOTHING except in answer to believing prayer.

And why is FASTING so productive in releasing spiritual power? I don't have the full answer to that, but the Word of God teaches it is so.

BUT if I could share some thoughts of what FASTING is all about, I see fasting as vital in prayer because of THREE things:

A.) FASTING REMINDS US OF OUR HUMANITY. It's always good to be reminded of our humanity when we come to God. To come to God feeling a sense of helplessness is NOT a handicap but a head start. It casts us upon God. It makes us dependent - and, oh, how most of us hate to feel dependant!

B.) FASTING HUMBLES US. Or it should do. There is a self-denial involved. We deny the physical appetites of our body for a time, to humble ourselves before God who has all the answers for our lives.

C.) FASTING IS A SIGN OF OUR DESIRE. We are saying, when we fast, that seeking God is more important to us than the daily routine of finding food for ourselves. We have a passion for God that supercedes everything else. (NOT trying to twist God’s arm, but a genuine display of the earnestness of our desire.)

So, fasting is VERY significant. But, sadly, it's overlooked by so many Christians today.

LET US PRAY
EVERY SPIRITUAL LOOKWARMNESS IN US DIE BY FIRE IN JESUS NAME.

FASTING AND PRAYER AN UNANSWERED QUESTION

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: FASTING AND PRAYER

AN UNANSWERED QUESTION.

Matthew 17:19 KJV
Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

They had answers to prayer before, you see. They ministered effectively at times - they had SOME successes. So what was different this time? Why could we not cast out this DEMON? Lord, we tried everything we knew how. We prayed just as we've e heard You pray for people. We got louder and louder, and sweatier and sweatier. What went wrong? We were so frustrated! Where did we go wrong?

I don't know about you, but I have been right where those disciples were so many times. Why Lord? UNANSWERED QUESTIONS.

The disciples had an unanswered question: why could WE not cast him out?

But to their question, Jesus gives:
AN UNEXPECTED REPLY.

READ v20-21.

How many of you have the NIV there? You will notice that verse 21 is missing. The text jumps straight from verse 20 to verse 22, right? (That's just another reason why you should get yourself the New King James Version.) The translators decided to translate from a Greek manuscript that didn't have that line in it. The majority of the old Greek manuscripts, however, DO have it in. I believe that it is a serious omission. What's more, if you look at the same story recounted in Mark gospel chapter 9, verse 29 confirms what Jesus said: this kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting. This time the NIV does include the verse, but drops the words and fasting.

I think the enemy will do anything to keep Christians from fasting! Let me read the verses to you again from the New King James Version [read].

Jesus says, you only need a little bit of that faith of yours and you can move mountains - let me encourage you. Don't doubt the power of faith in God for a moment. HOWEVER this kind of demonic problem does not go out EXCEPT BY PRAYER AND FASTING.

There are needs that are especially great - obstacles that have a whole different dimension of difficulty about them. SOME things require a specific breakthrough in the heavenlies - they are spiritual problems, spiritually discerned, and they require spiritual power to break them.

And Jesus says that there is a way to obtain the spiritual power to break through such needs - and here is the substance of my message to you today.
Try fasting and prayer on your issues.

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS EMPOWER ME TO FAST AND PRAY FOR THE MANIFESTATION OF MY MIRACLE IN JESUS NAME

PRAYER AND FASTING

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PRAYER AND FASTING

READ: Mark 2:18-20 (text: v20)

Note Jesus words - then they will fast.
Jesus knew there would come a time when He would not be physically present any longer with His disciples / with the church. Perilous times would come when supernatural strength would be needed. Then they will fast IN THOSE DAYS. Church, we are living in such days today - the Bridegroom is absent and our needs for spiritual power are SO very great. Jesus intends for us to seek after God with great prayer and fasting.

This morning I want to talk to you about the subject of fasting. I believe that there is great power in the principles of prayer with fasting. But so many people either 1.) ignore fasting, or 2.) misunderstand what fasting is all about, and what is required for true Christian fasting.

MATTHEW 17:1-21. [READ.]

Jesus returns from His transfiguration, having been aside in the mountains with Peter, James and John. Upon His return down, they are met by the other disciples and the crowd of people who were following Jesus to see the miracles He might perform. And the first thing that we see is waiting for Jesus is:

1. AN UNMET NEED.
READ v16.
There was a need that Jesus disciples could not meet - it was beyond their resources (human or spiritual). Previous to this, Jesus had already given His disciples the authority to heal the sick and cast out demons in His Name. And they went about preaching Jesus message of the Kingdom of God, and they healed and delivered just as Jesus said that they would.

BUT NOW they have struck a need that is obviously too great for them. This young man, so violently afflicted with a devil that tormented him - and the disciples, no matter what they attempted, had been unable to deal with it. There was an UNMET NEED.

Let's not be too quick to criticize the disciples for their inability here. Haven't we all been in those places where we have tried with all that we have to find an answer in our lives, or in the life of some other poor friend needing help? We're tried everything; we've exhausted all our spiritual resources, and still the need is left seemingly unmet. The sickness remains; the situation is unchanged; the person is unaffected/unsaved/unchallenged. The need is unmet! What are we to do?

Jesus came down from the mountain, where He and His closest associates had been in the presence of God, to be faced with this unmet need. They come down from the presence of God where anything and everything is perfect and the possibilities are unlimited - back to the grim realities of life.

(Ever been in a powerful church meeting where you experienced such a touch of God that you felt you could turn the world upside-down, only to go out and bump into someone down the street that you have been praying for and there is no discernible change in them - in fact they seem worse than ever?!

You feel the wind leave your sails very quickly. You are confronted by the dilemma - the failure - the tragedy.)

Jesus and His associates came down the mountain to face AN UNMET NEED.

BUT I praise God that Jesus is the MASTER OF THE UNMET NEED. If you have some situation in your life today that you have no answer for - my friend, your hope is JESUS. He is the Master of the unmet need! Nothing is too hard for Him. Hallelujah!.... CONTINUE TOMORROW.

LET US PRAY
IN JESUS NAME, EVERY UNMET SITUATION OF MY LIFE BE SUBJECT TO THE POWER OF JESUS IN ME NOW IN JESUS NAME.

SIGN OF END TIME HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF -

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SIGN OF END TIME

HAVING A FORM OF GODLINESS, BUT DENYING THE POWER THEREOF -

(2 Tim 3:5) "Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away."

Even many churches today have more form and outward show than true godliness.Christians ought to be out and out Christians. I never do anything half-heartedly. I should try to do my best to be a Christian where ever I am. I should never compromise my position for anyone.

There a lots of prettendance Christian today in the church, the Bible said they have the form of Godliness, they are just a copy Christian, they are fake Christian, they are in the church to cause confusion, disorganisation and set back for the spiritual growth of the member, such people make the little upcoming Christian to be confuse and disfocuse and lose the sight on the real kingdom goal, they turn the law of God to nothing and make spiritual issue as little, they attach serious important to worldly things and things that spiritual not profitable.

Brethren, watch out for them and don't be discourage in your spirit by their character, detach yourself from them.Yes, it cost something to live a true Christian life, but it will be worth it all when we see Jesus.

God tells us what to do about those who live such ungodly lives. He says in verse 5, "from such turn away!" Take a stand! Live for the Lord! Speak up for the Lord! Don't let anyone get by with cursing in front of you! Live that kind of life and God will reward you with souls.

LET US PRAY

SIGNS OF END TIME LOVERS OF PLEASURE MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SIGNS OF END TIME

LOVERS OF PLEASURE MORE THAN LOVERS OF GOD - (2 Tim 3:4) "Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;"

If ever there was a time when people revealed themselves as pleasure crazy, that time is now!
" I've watched people sitting and getting drunk" and make a sour face as they took a sip. I've leaned over and said, "If it's that bad, why do you drink it?".

Drink and drunken drivers are a major problem these days. Every single day hundreds of people are killed by drunken drivers. Where's the pleasure in all this? A driver nearly hit my car yesterday evening when I was coming from town to my mother inlaws house, you could see the way the driver was driving, you need not to be told he is dead drunk. Where is the pleasure in that which is about claiming his life?

Then there's the gambling crowd. The lose and lose and lose, but still gamble away their money. Where on earth is the pleasure in all that? And the same people goes about saying government didn't pay salary, but the little they suppose to spend wisely with the family, they gamble with it, What a wasteful life.

The Bible speaks of the pleasure of sin for a season. (Heb 11:25) "Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;" So since God's Word does say "PLEASURES of sin", I suppose they get pleasure in doing so…but remember the last part of that verse, "FOR A SEASON." It doesn't last long.

I would rather live a good moral clean life and not take part in the so-called "pleasures of sin" and enjoy an eternity in Heaven with the Lord. I would rather spend my time doing something that will last forever than to "enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season."

Brethren what are you enjoy now, is it what you will pay with your life after or what God will be happy with you after? Godliness and Contentment is a great gain, don't be carry away by the signs

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME RETURN UNTO ME THE JOY OF MY SALVATION AMEN

SIGNS OF THE END TIME DESPISERS OF THOSE THAT ARE GOOD -

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SIGNS OF THE END TIME

DESPISERS OF THOSE THAT ARE GOOD -
(2 Tim 3:3) "… despisers of those that are good,"

Is it not true that a person can get more contempt today for holding to a high moral standard than for going the ways of the world"? I have been laughed at for not going out on the town and for not cursing and for not acting like the rest of the world.
I use to think that was strange…but now I know it's a sign of the last days.

Dr Bill hath away said The schools in Springfield decided to have a dress code and will not permit inappropriate, revealing clothes. And would you know it? …The kids (and some parents) are rebelling. It's a fad these days to show one's fashionable underwear.

What about telling the truth? Be a stickler for telling the truth and you get ridiculed.
People who read the Bible every day and who pray before meals are called "Goody-goodies."
Even the Ten Commandments are considered "unconstitutional" by the ACLU. What's wrong with the Ten Commandments? Nothing! They are good laws to follow, but "good" is the enemy of "evil."
Where has replacing the Bible and prayer with sex-education and condoms gotten us? Certainly not a better community! To the contrary, evil is prevalent now more than ever.

To me, living a separated life that honors the Lord is a good thing, but that too is despised.
To me, TV without any cursing or immoral licentious acts is good, but that too is despised. Today lesbians and homosexuals are recognized on TV. Why? Because people today despise that which is good.

Brethren, Young people, let's stand up and fight against all immorality and sin! let's be a fighter and I'll stand up against all odds for the Lord. Who is on the Lord's side? Let's stand up and fight the good fight of faith!

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, BUILD YOUR LOVE IN US TO BE DEEPLY ROOTED IN YOU BEYOUND SATAN MANIPULATION IN JESUS NAME

END TIME SIGNS TRUCEBREAKERS -

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: END TIME SIGNS

TRUCEBREAKERS - (2 Tim 3:3) "Without natural affection, trucebreakers, …"

On the international level, this certainly is true today. How many times has Israel and the Arab nations signed a truce agreement? How many times has it been broken? You know the answer…EVERY TIME!

What about on the personal level? This is at the bottom of broken homes. Men and women stood at the altar and solemnly pledged their vows to each other. Then after the exchanging of rings, joining of hands and the kiss to seal the marriage…only a couple years later they threw those vows to the winds as they separated and divorced. What a tragedy!

The Bible says concerning the last days, (Mat 24:6) "And ye shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet." We are at war right now.

There will always be trucebreakers and wars will always take place…until the Prince of Peace comes to usher in the Thousand Year Millennial Reign of Christ.
And what about the homosexual issue. See Rom. 1 for God's view of this issue. And America has sanctioned it.
How can God keep blessing America when laws are made against the will of God?

Every family, person, group or nation that passes a will that is against God's will is directly an enemy of God, don't let the signs of the end time destroy your eternity with God. Repent and be save

LET US PRAY
EVERY WILL THAT IS AGAINST GOD'S WILL IN MY LIFE IS BROKEN IN JESUS NAME, I REBUILD MY RELATIONSHIP WITH THE LORD JESUS. AMEN

End-Time Signs WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTION

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: End-Time Signs

WITHOUT NATURAL AFFECTION - (2 Tim 3:3) "Without natural affection, …"

How many times have we read of parents killing their children? That's certainly not natural affection. It's not natural and it's not affection.
But also, America has sanctioned the murder of millions of babies and some of them just before birth. That's not natural and it's not affection.
I love America, but I'm scared for America today.
And now our society has got so sick that men are marrying men and women are marrying women. What does Rom. 1 tell us about this? (Rom 1:26-28) "For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature (without natural affection): {27} And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly (without natural affection), and receiving in themselves that recompense of their error which was meet. {28} And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;"

If what is going on today is what will go on during the last days, then we are there now! These are the last days! And we even hear of priests or pastors taking part in these "unseemly," "against nature," "without natural affection" acts.

Sodom and Gomorrah have nothing on the U.S.A. Just as God's patience ran out on these cities, so will His patience run out on this old world today! I would advise to get saved NOW! Don't wait a single minute!

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, BEING US BACK TO YOUR SAVING GRACE FROM OUR FALLING BEFORE IT WILL BE TOO LATE.

End-Time Signs Taking Place Right Now DISOBEDIENCE TO PARENTS -

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: End-Time Signs Taking Place Right Now

DISOBEDIENCE TO PARENTS -
(2 Tim 3:2) "… disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,"

The age of crime has come down drastically during these (last) days. You hear of children dashing little babies to death by throwing them on the side walk.
You hear of children taking guns to school and shooting their fellow students.
You hear of children killing their parents.
How many young people have left home to gain freedom only to return because the grass was not so green out in the cold, heartless world.

And now children are being taken out of homes simply because the parents believe in scriptural spanking. And the various official child abuse agencies are quick to pounce on children who even joke about child-molestation. I know a family whose child was taken from school because of that. And all for money!!!

brethren let's take care of our children never to fall victim of end time signs, teach your children in the way of the Lord and he will give you rest, children left to the self will later disgrace their parent, when your child know the law of God surely he or she will be guided by it.

Seven End-Time Signs Taking Place Right Now

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

Topic: Seven End-Time Signs Taking Place Right Now

Notice that Paul is writing about "the last days." He speaks of those days as a time of peril. He mentions 21 different things that I can count that will characterize people of that time. I will group them into SEVEN END-TIME SIGNS THAT ARE NOW TAKING PLACE.

Despite all the talk about things getting better and better, the contrary is true…things are getting worse and worse. As I see it, it is only the mercy of God that He has not send His Son to rapture us out of this world before now. If I were you, and was not prepared for eternity, believe me, I would run down this aisle right now and get ready to meet the Lord.

Let's look at these 7 signs of the times.

I. LOVERS OF THEIR OWN SELF -
(2 Tim 3:1-2)
"This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. {2} For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers…

Is this not the root cause of most sin? Isn't it because men are covetous that they murder, cheat, lie, deceive, rob, rape, and fight?
When men love themselves, they don't care who they hurt as they seek self-gratification.

Is this not the crowd who are the boasters, proud and who blaspheme the Name of Almighty God? Has there ever been a time when men took God's name in vain more than today? You hear it even on TV.
Don't be a victim be a Victor, repent and be prepare for the coming of the Lord.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, DON'T LET ME MISS THE RAPTURE OF THE SAINT IN JESUS NAME

OMG! PASTOR BEHEADS HIS PREGNANT WIFE, HIDES CORPSE IN A BOWL (GRAPHIC PHOTOS)

A man of God and the General Overseer of a Zimbabwean church, Pastor Madaristo Ranch, has been arrested after he beheaded his pregnant wife, Pamela Muzondi, with a kitchen knife and hiding the corpse in a dish in the bedroom.

After that, he calmly went to his church, Living Word Ministries, and conducted the service before fleeing towards the Mozambican border and was arrested before he could skip into the neighbouring country.

The body of Muzondi was discovered by relatives five days after her husband murdered her, suspecting ritualistic tendencies because her eyes and heart were missing while her stomach was also cut open and the fetus removed.

A relative told a UK based private newspaper:

“She was killed on Sunday and we only discovered her on Friday morning.”

The deceased left behind a 3-year-old child.

What is important in marriage?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: What is important in marriage?

Teach the next generation –

Deuteronomy 6. 4-7 "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up."

This hardly needs much explanation. However, it is hardly ever done. In years past, fathers and mothers would pray with their children and often at the dinner table would discuss some aspect of the Bible. Reading the Bible with one’s family was very popular then.

Yet, we have stopped doing this for the most part. We need to Bible studies with our children and with our spouse so that we can grow together as a family. When one does that, it is amazing the results that it can have.

Teaching the next generation through Bible study though is one of the most important things that one can do. It is one of the few things that a parent should insist upon.
Start it with your family today and you will not have to cry tomorrow because a family that pray together stay together.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, HELP OUR FAMILY NOT TO BREAK APART, BIND US BY YOUR LOVE IN JESUS NAME.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: What is important in marriage?

Submit to each other –

Love and respect – "Each of you also must love his wife as he loves himself and the wife must respect her husband." Ephesians 5.33

Submission is a sign of both love and respect for others. Bill Bright, who with God’s help built one of the largest ministries ever – Campus Crusade, at the end of a meeting would always ask "what can I do for you." Imagine a busy founder and CEO of a major ministry asking the person he is talking to "what can I do for you." Yet, this is a sign of love and respect for the other person. It gets other people’s attention and it is amazing the results that submission to others can achieve.

Submission does have its limits. In terms of intimacy, one only submits to one’s spouse.

James 4:7 KJV
Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.
Colossians 3:18 KJV
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as it is fit in the Lord.
Ephesians 5:21 KJV
Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Ephesians 5:22 KJV
Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

What is important in marriage?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: What is important in marriage?

Forgive each other –

"Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievance you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect harmony." Colossians 3.13-14

Forgiveness can be one of the hardest things that we do. And yet, without forgiveness, there can be no reconciliation when we do something wrong and hurt our spouse. Forgiveness starts with true repentance and admitting to the other person that we have made a mistake and ask for forgiveness. Granting forgiveness can be equally hard, but is the only way.

One of the ways in making forgiveness easier to do is to remember what God has forgiveness much greater sins. But the two our linked. In order to get God’s forgiveness, we must forgive others.

Forgiveness is a unique feature of Christianity. It does not show up in other faiths. We must always remember to forgive.

What is important in marriage?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: What is important in marriage?

There are pillars for a successful marriage that are mentioned in the Bible. It not only applies to those being married today, but to everyone who is married or who will get married.

Let's begin with this word "listen"

Listen -
"Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry." James 1.19.

God gave us two ears and one mouth. But one would hardly know it. We are so anxious to talk that we are frequently get our next thoughts together even as we listen not so carefully to what is being said to us. We jump in with what we have to say and fail to listen.

For women in particular, having someone to speak to is important. When the husband comes home at night from work, a woman wants to talk about her day. The husband is often tired and tuned out. Yet, it is the process of listening, which can begin very simply by asking a question – how was your day? – that is an important part of the relationship.

When a couple fails to hear each other or talk to each other, they will tend to grow apart. Thus, it is critical every day to engage in conversation. It is one sign of love of one for another.

THE PURPOSE OF MARRIAGE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE PURPOSE OF MARRIAGE

We need to understand the purpose of marriage

We need to underline the purpose of marriage:

Genesis 1:28 - "God blessed (the man and the woman) and said to them "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it."

This states that the ideal relationship is the marriage of a man and woman life long with the goal of having children.

Commentators on this verse uniformly note that this is a rejection of all other types of relationships, particularly multiple relationships and cult prostitution at the time. In the 1st chapter of Genesis, the theme is that God is bringing order out of chaos. Divorce brings chaos out of order.

In Matthew 19: 4-6, Jesus said that "at the beginning the Creator 'made them male and female' and said, 'For this reason a man will leave his father and mother and be united to his wife, and the two will become one flesh. So they are no longer two, but one." Jesus then added "Therefore, what God has joined together, let man not separate."

Interestingly, in the next section, Jesus focuses on children and says, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these." Matthew 19: 14. As one can see, divorce does hinder children from coming to God and thus something must be done by the church to NOT let this happen.

The church has a Biblical responsibility to do better and to uphold the marriage standard by the following point

1) training couples interested in being engaged and married (note: it is best to do this before formal engagement),

2) marriage enrichment once married,

3) marriage mentoring when marriages are in trouble and

4) mentoring families that have experienced divorce.

God's blessings, will overtake us.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God's blessings, will overtake us.

Verse 2 of Deuteronomy 28. is without doubt one of the most positive and delightful verses in the Bible. Just to read it, puts a smile on your face.

"And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God."

Wow! If we meet God's conditions and love Him, serve Him, by choice; then His blessings are a sure thing. They will run you down and tackle you!
The words, "...come on thee and overtake thee," are illustrated in the story of Jacob and Laban. Jacob took his wives, his great wealth, and left the house of his father-in-law Laban in secret, while Laban was out of town. When Laban returned and found them gone, he was furious and asked, "Which way did they go?" Laban took off in pursuit of Jacob and it says in Genesis 31:25, "Then Laban overtook Jacob." Laban ran after Jacob, caught up with him, and seized him. That is what God says His blessings will do to us!

When we live to please God, His blessing will seek us out. As Laban ran after Jacob, the blessings of a faithful God will run after us.

When we live to please God, His blessings will surprise us. Can you imagine Jacob when Laban and his men appeared over the horizon? Surely he was both surprised and startled. God's blessings will come out of nowhere, when we least expect it and surprise us!

When we live to please God, His blessings will seize us. Quickly Laban and his men seized and surrounded Jacob. He was no match for uncle Laban. Jacob didn't know that God had intervened along the way. As Laban seized Jacob, God's blessings can come upon us and seize us.

Surely all of us who know God and live for Him, can identify with this picture. Another hymn writer wrote, "Count your blessings, Name them one by one." Somewhere along the way, an enthusiastic soul modified the words, "Count your blessings, Name them ton by ton." How wonderful it is to be chased down by God's blessings! Satan makes a lot of promises, but does not deliver.
God delivers! It pays to serve the Lord, both now and into eternity!

Lessons From Cameroun, Niger And Chad

Imagine what would happen in Nigeria if in an effort to checkmate the Boko Haram insurgents, the Federal Government bans the wearing of full face veil (Hijab) by Muslim women or shuts down mosques?

Hell will be let loose, of course! Many innocent Nigerians will be sent to their untimely graves, courtesy of the crisis that would follow, with property worth billions of Naira going up in flames. In fact, the chaos that would follow such action is better imagined than experienced.

But that is not what has happened in Cameroun, Niger and Chad, Nigeria’s neighbours. Cameroun authorities recently ordered all mosques and Islamic centres to be shut in its northern part. The region had earlier banned the wearing of full face veil (Hijab) by Muslim women.

Authorities in Diffa area of Republic of Niger, which shares borders with Nigeria, also last week banned the wearing of Islamic full face veil following suicide attacks in the region by women wearing the religious garment.

Also, Chad, another of Nigeria’s neighbours, not long ago restricted the wearing of full face veil by Muslim women. The country also last week introduced death penalty for terrorism.

The three countries took the actions and their citizens have taken them in their strides. They realise that such actions by their governments are necessary and temporary steps to stop the Boko Haram insurgents from over-running their territories. They understand that their governments mean well; so do the Muslim population in the three countries.

But not so in Nigeria where people are fixated in their ways and opinions and ready to go to war over moves seen to be against their religion. This is unfortunate. So, Nigerians need to take a cue from citizens of Cameroun, Niger and Chad who have elected to live with the actions of their governments, acknowledging that humanism is the first law of God for man (and woman)!

God's blessings are activated by our choices.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God's blessings are activated by our choices.

Deuteronomy 28 is a long chapter of sixty eight verses. This chapter is divided into two parts. These first fourteen verses have to do with blessing. The remaining verses speak of cursing. Blessings or cursing, the choice was theirs.

Deuteronomy 30:15 says, "See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil." Israel was left with a choice, and so are we. While God is certainly sovereign, only a fool would deny the fact of human responsibility.

Every human born of woman, has a choice to make. In this life, we will choose between God or Satan, eternal life or eternal death; a life of blessing or a life of cursing. As children, our parents make many of our choices, but eventually we must choose for ourselves! The secret to securing the blessings of God, is to choose obedience over rebellion.

The Bible tells us that "God is love," and love must make a choice. God is not going to save you against your will. How many here would want to marry someone against your will? Marriage is a decision of love. Salvation is a decision of love. God in His divine pure love chose in eternity past to redeem us through His Son, Jesus Christ. We must choose to receive the Son by faith at the preaching of the Word of God and conviction of the Holy Spirit of God. It is the same when it comes to serving God. We serve Him because we love Him. As God's children, none of us merit or deserve the least of His blessings.

All blessings come to us by God's grace! However, everyday we make choices that place us in the path of God's blessings or the path of God's correction.

LET US PRAY
FATHER GOD HELP US TO MAKE THE RIGHT CHOICES OF YOUR BLESSING IN JESUS NAME.

26 Ways to Become Irresistible to Your Husband

Having a difficult time getting your husband's attention? Sometimes he simply needs a boost. A boost to his ego so he will believe you want him, physically as well as emotionally. Sometimes he needs some extra effort on your part to be enticed and drawn toward you.

Just as there are a myriad of reasons he might seem to have lost interest in you, there are also a myriad of ways (or at least 26…one for every letter of the alphabet) to recapture his interest and make him want to pursue you again. Here is what I call “The ABCs of Being Irresistible in Your Husband’s Eyes:”

A – Affirm him. One of the things your man finds most attractive about you is that you were at one time (and hopefully still are) attracted to him. A man wants to be around a woman who makes him feel like he’s winning. Let him know he’s a great provider, he is great at what he does, he can still get your heart racing– whatever it is that you can compliment him on. And mean it. A woman who sings her man’s praises is a woman he’ll come after… so he can hear more!

B – Be a mystery. Men still love a challenge; just don’t make it too complicated. Does your husband know everything there is to know about you? If so, develop a new skill or idea or come up with a secret he’s dying to discover. When you become a mystery to your husband there are things about you that he still wants to know, things you’re thinking that he’d like for you to divulge, secrets in your soul that he’ll be challenged to draw out. You don’t give him a chance if you tell him everything. Write him an anonymous note from a “secret admirer” and put it somewhere you couldn’t have and don’t reveal it was from you. Offer to meet him somewhere and show up in a new dress and hairstyle. Be mysterious, in some ways. Be to him a treasure chest full of secrets he’s dying to unlock!

C – Cultivate your relationship with Christ. What makes you truly attractive, and one worth pursuing? The beauty of Christ in you. When you have an intimate devotional life with Christ, and are controlled by His Spirit, your life will produce the fruits of His Spirit – love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self control (Galatians 5:22-23). What man doesn’t want to chase after a woman who is truly joyful, peaceful, patient, kind, good, faithful, gentle and – they love this one the best – self-controlled!

D – Dress for him. Some women don’t think much about what they wear, with the excuse that they’re just not into the “latest” fashion. Or, they will dress nice when they go to church, or out with girlfriends, but not put much effort into how they look for “just my husband.” But men can recognize “frumpy” even if we can’t. And dress for him at night, too. Your husband might be majorly turned off by a “grandma” night gown that resembles something his mother used to wear! So, it may be time to invest in some lingerie or just something ‘form flattering’ or feminine.

E – Exude confidence. He once found it attractive in you. He still does. So, regardless of how you might feel about your weight, body shape, “big knees,” “small chest,” cellulite, veins or whatever, get over it. He has. Honestly, he doesn’t see all the body flaws you think are so very obvious. Men tend to not analyze or critique our bodies nearly as much as we do. When you are confident in your speech, your walk, your relationship with him, and your role as his wife that, too, is attractive.

F – Flirt with him. If he loved it back then, he’ll still love it today…maybe even more. Flirting is a hidden art among women today. We usually have too many other things on our mind to even think about saying something to get his attention and let him know we’re thinking of him. But flirting can be sending a text message or leaving a voice mail telling him he’s on your mind. Think: what did I do back when we dated? And that will help with your flirt factor.

G- Give him the best of you. We tend to give the best of ourselves to our jobs, or our children, or our homes. And our husbands tend to get the leftovers – of our time, energy and even, our looks. I know many women who enjoy remodeling their homes. But what about remodeling ourselves now and then? The Bible says our bodies are the temple of God. So how long has it been since the temple’s been remodeled? Do what you can to keep your body in shape, healthy, and holy for the Lord and for your husband, too. The Bible tells us that we are not only the temple of God, but we belong to our husbands. So we take care of ourselves for them, too.

H – Have a positive attitude. Can your husband always count on a smile or a kind word? Or does he enter the house walking on eggshells, and unsure of what kind of mood you’ll be in? Positive people are enjoyable to be around. If you’re pleasant, he’ll generally want to be in your company.

I – Initiate. I can’t say enough here. Initiate a hug. Initiate a kind word or compliment. Initiate lovemaking. Chances are your husband dreams of the “wild woman” within you. Let your inner tigress come out now and then and show him he’s still the one. You want to be pursued. So does he, now and then. Surprise him. And show him there’s a side of you he has yet to discover.

J – Join him in something he enjoys. Michelle told me she began to be more interesting – and more of a pursuit – to her husband when she adopted his interest in working out.
“I was complaining to my husband that I was tired, bored, and didn’t have time to exercise. He told me that the kids were always going to take my time, but that I was the only one who could make working out a priority. I started to listen. I made time for my workouts a priority. I made the kids ride their bikes, while I started running. Now, years later, I’m not the nagging, tired, old wife. I am the new wife, with a cute body, and more interesting things to talk about. We talk about workouts, nutrition, and even exercise together. It has really ignited a new passion within our marriage. I can’t keep up with my husband, but the fact that I try makes it more interesting.”

By taking up a particular interest that her husband had, Michelle was able to accomplish nearly every one of the A-B-C’s in that one “J.”

K – Kiss him with passion. Not just a peck on the cheek, like you’d do to your child. But really kiss him. Studies show that couples who kiss each other daily enjoy a higher satisfaction rate in marriage than those who don’t. So take the initiative and kiss him. Yes, you’d like him to kiss you first, but do for him what you’d like him to do for you. Kiss him like you mean it. And see what happens.

L – Leave the lights on. Need I say more? As a man, your husband is visually wired. And it’s believed men see in soft focus anyway, meaning your man is not nearly as critical of your body as you are. Make the most of what you have to offer him and trust he’ll appreciate it.

M – Make his favorite meal or dessert. The best way to your man’s heart may still be through his stomach. So let him know you care and whip up what he loves to eat. Food is still good foreplay when it comes to men.

N – Notice the little things. My husband really does want me to notice his latest haircut even though I really can’t tell the difference. When you notice things about your husband it says to him that you’re aware of him, appreciating him and – convey this one, too – admiring him. Make your observation into a compliment not a complaint. (In other words, don’t notice that his shirt is wrinkled or he’s wearing athletic socks with casual shoes. Notice that he still looks nice when he dresses up – or doesn’t.)

O – Offer to do one thing that will make his day go smoother. You might be surprised at how simple his one request is – pick up his suit at the drycleaners, pack him a lunch, pray for him during a crucial meeting? Just offering to do something for him will show him your heart is tuned toward his needs.

P- Plan a surprise for him. Men are, at times, like little boys. They love surprises and spontaneity if at the appropriate time. Find out what he’s been missing and bring it back whether it’s a hairstyle on your head or a favorite place to eat.

Q – Quit directing, correcting, and controlling. (That one came from my husband and I tried not to take it personally!) Let him lead. It will show him that you do believe in him and his ability to handle a situation.

R – Respect who he is and what he does. He needs that from you more than you realize.

S – Spontaneity. Be unpredictable, but in a good way. Suggest you eat somewhere you never have. Wear a color you never have before. Go outside your comfort zone and take a risk with him. It will make him feel like he has a brand new wife, especially if you’ve been mothering him more than dating him lately.

T – Text him endearing messages like “You’re still the one,” “I’m a lucky woman to have you” and “You still take my breath away.” Chances are, he may begin to text some of those messages back.

U – Use a soft voice with him. Few men are attracted to loud and boisterous. Talking softly conveys femininity.

V – Visibility. See “L- Leave the lights on.” It’s that important to him, which is why I’m mentioning it – twice!

W – Watch his favorite movie or show with him. Even if you can’t stomach sports or another episode of “Man vs. Food,” if he loves it, watch it with him. And try to enjoy it – for his sake.

X – Xercise (ok I cheated on the spelling here…but how many words start with X?) Exercise will improve your mood and overall health, which will, in turn, make you more enjoyable to be around. Even better, exercise along with him, if it’s possible.

Y – “Yes” – say it often. It may be his favorite word from you. “Yes, we can invite your friends over for the game.” “Yes, I’ll try that new type of food with you.” “Yes, I’ll wear that just for you.” Think: “Your will, not mine.” Self sacrifice goes a long way in marriage.

Z – Zealously pursue Christ and your husband. As you look to God first as your Heavenly Husband (Isaiah 54:5), your earthly husband can’t help but notice Christ-like character in you…the essence of true beauty. And when you pursue you pursue your husband, you are affirming to him that he is worth the pursuit.

Hell Is Better For Me - Nigerian Transgender, Stephanie Rose

The Nigerian man who changed into a woman, Stephanie Rose, will not stop magnifying her hatred for God.

Dapo Adaralegbe, Now Stephanie Rose
The popular transgender, who airs her odd opinions about heaven and hell, insults God, calling Him names at any given time, is at it again. Recall that Stephanie, who was born a man named Dapo Adaralegbe, was expelled from the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ife, where she was studying law. She had crisis issues and was expelled from the school. She later underwent surgery abroad to become a woman.
She recently took to her Facebook page again to share a post by an avowed atheist, Amenhotep Kingsagreed, where she thinks that God is the devil himself. She claims that the Bible is evidence that God is the devil. See the post below:

ITS BETTER TO BURN IN HELL THAN TO WORSHIP THE MONSTER WHO CREATED IT….

I’m amazed that people who claim to read and worship the words of the bible tend to be so ignorant about just what the bible says. I wonder how many of them know that god is quoted many times in the bible admitting that he is infact evil. I will list those passages below.

Isaiah 45:7 I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the LORD do all these things.

Exodus 32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.

Joshua 23:15 Therefore it shall come to pass, that as all good things are come upon you, which the LORD your God promised you; so shall the LORD bring upon you all evil things.

Judges 9:23 Then God sent an evil spirit

1 Samuel 16:14 But the Spirit of the LORD departed from Saul, and an evil spirit from the LORD troubled him.

2 Samuel 12:11 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will raise up evil against thee out of thine own house

1 Kings 9:9 …therefore hath the LORD brought upon them all this evil.

1 Kings 14:10 Therefore, behold, I will bring evil upon the house of Jeroboam

2 Kings 6:33 …Behold, this evil is of the LORD;

2 Kings 21:12 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Behold, I am bringing such evil upon Jerusalem and Judah, that whosoever heareth of it, both his ears shall tingle.

2 Kings 22:16 Thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place

Nehemiah 13:18 Did not your fathers thus, and did not our God bring all this evil upon us, and upon this city?

Jeremiah 4:6 Set up the standard toward Zion: retire, stay not: for I will bring evil from the north, and a great destruction.

Jeremiah 6:19 Hear, O earth: behold, I will bring evil upon this people

Jeremiah 11:11 Therefore thus saith the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon them

Jeremiah 25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil

Jeremiah 35:17 Therefore thus saith the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them:

Jeremiah 44:2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Ye have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah

Jeremiah 45:5 …behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, saith the LORD

Jeremiah 49:37 …I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, saith the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them

Micah 1:12 …. evil came down from the LORD
Micah 2:3 Therefore thus saith the LORD; Behold, against this family do I devise an evil

So as you can see, Jehovah god admits that it is he that does all evil, not some “fallen angel” who gets the blame. The reason Satan gets the blame is solely so that the Christians can convince themselves that it’s not god doing it. But if you claim that god is not capable of committing evil acts then you are “giving false witness” and committing “blasphemy” against god and his character.

Now I ask you, why do you feel that this “god” is deserving of worship? Even if you believe that he does exist, after all he has done and all he admits, why would you want to devote your life to him? Of all the men who have lived not one of them can come close to the evil that this god is. No one has caused as much death and destruction that this god claims to have done.

It’s funny, the relationship that people have with this god reminds me of battered wife syndrome. He’ll beat you into submission, threaten you with terrible punishments if you don’t comply, convince you that you deserve that horrible treatment because your bad deep inside, then tell you he only does it because he loves you. Actually it’s not funny after all. It’s pretty damn sad.

What a misguided life, may save him/her

God's blessings are attached to His commandments.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God's blessings are attached to His commandments.

Deuteronomy 28:1 "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

The Bible verse about tell us that if we hear the Lord God and live in obedience to His commandments, His Word, then we can know we are on the road to His blessings.

We find the same condition in John 15:10. Jesus said, "If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in His love." Do you get the message?

Keep yourself near the Word of God, the people of God, involved in the things of God, doing the will of God, and God will bless your life.

Dwelling with God, living in obedience to His Word, is the secret to securing God's blessings.
Now that is easily said, but is not easy. The flesh, the devil, and the world, are purposed to pull you away from the will and Word of God. Only as you are purposed, determined, to keep yourself focused upon God and His Word, will you be successful in life.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, GIVE US POWER TO DO YOUR COMMANDMENT IN JESUS NAME.

God is the source of all blessing

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God is the source of all blessing.

Deuteronomy 28:1-2. "And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all His commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth:

2 And all these blessings shall come on thee, and overtake thee, if thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the LORD thy God."

Here in this text, Moses is speaking on behalf of the Lord God. Israel's whole future centered upon their relationship with God. Israel had experienced redemption from Egypt; they had been protected and preserved by God for forty years in their wilderness wanderings; and now they were on the verge of crossing the Jordan River to enter God's land of promise. If they had learned anything, they had learned that all true blessings flow from God.

Man cannot bless! The priest could not bless, he could only invoke God's blessing. The Levitical priest would say, "The Lord bless thee, and keep thee; The Lord make His face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee; The Lord lift up His countenance upon thee, and give thee peace." It is God who blesses man. The greater, blesses the lesser!

As New Testament believers, it is God who has redeemed us out of the bondage of sin by the blood of His Lamb, Jesus Christ. It is God who has protected and preserved us in this world that is a barren wilderness unto this good hour, and it will be God who will carry us into the future.

We must always look to God as the source of all blessing!
God alone has the power to bless. In verse 1b, Moses says, "...that the Lord thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth." God rules the nations.

God can do anything in this world. He has the power, the ability, to bless, to exalt and promote. What a mighty God we serve!
Paul in Ephesians 3:20 says, "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us."

God is able, but we must look to Him and trust in Him for the need, the blessing.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS, LET IT PLEASE YOU TO BLESS US WITH YOUR BLESSING IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

Why Should God Bless You?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Why Should God Bless You?

How many of you would like God to bless your life?
Should you ask God to bless your life? Or is that selfish?

In 1 Chronicles 4:10 we read,
Jabez called upon the God of Israel, saying, "Oh that you would bless me and enlarge my border, and that your hand might be with me, and that you would keep me from harm so that it might not bring me pain!" And God granted what he asked.

Why did God grant what Jabez asked?
What is the reason for God's blessing?

There are many ways we can answer that question with Scriptural support:
He loves his people. He delights to do them good. He is good.
But there’s one fundamental reason that God blesses His people, and this reason is closely related to the missionary calling of the church.

Psalm 67, gives us that reason.
Why Should God Bless You?

This Psalm begins in a way that sounds similar to prayer of Jabez (actually, it more closely echoes the blessing that Aaron and his descendants said over the people of Israel, as recorded in Numbers 6) - but Psalm 67 goes deeper than the prayer of Jabez, telling us why God blesses his people.

Let’s look at the first two verses of the Psalm:
God be gracious to us and bless us, And cause His face to shine upon us -- Selah. 2 That Your way may be known on the earth, Your salvation among all nations.

The Psalmist asks for blessing so that God’s ways may be known on the earth.
The Psalmist is saying, in effect, "Bless me, so that I might glorify you; bless me so that I might show your power, your love, your majesty, your goodness to all nations.” hallelujah

Note that the Psalmist is not saying:
· He is not saying, “Bless me so that I can be comfortable.”
· He is not saying, “Bless me so that I don’t have to work hard to make a living.”
· He is not saying, “Bless me so that others will be envious of me.”
· He is not saying, “Bless me so that I can be successful in the eyes of the world.”
· Now listen carefully: He is not even primarily saying, “Bless me so that I can bless others.”

This last is a biblical reason for God’s blessing, as He makes explicit in His call to Abraham (Genesis 12). By all means, God blesses us and gifts us so that we might serve and bless others. But still, this is not the underlying, fundamental reason for God’s blessing. God blesses us first and foremost so that we can bring glory to His name. Hallelujah

Do you feel blessed of the Lord in your life? If yes, have you bring glory back to his name through the blessing?
