HAPPY END OF THE YEAR (The Year Is Not Yet Over)!

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: HAPPY END OF THE YEAR
(The Year Is Not Yet Over)!

Exodus 12:1-2 "Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, saying, This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."

Psalm 105:37 "He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes."

Allow me to inspire you for a few minutes. I don't know about you but the year is not yet over! I said, the year is not yet over... I know that we are just a few hours from the New Year and we are about to step over onto a brand new path forward, hoping to revisiting some old territories and looking forward to discovering new ones, and to initiate brand new plans of what we want God to do for us - we are hoping for some exciting and blessed times in the year to come. Amen

But this year is not yet over...
In Exodus Chapter 12 verses one and two,
God spoke to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying, "This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you."
Here in this verse from Exodus, God is about to deliver the Israelites from 430 years of Egyptian bondage; this is the eve of their departure from their long enslavement.

On this night, God through Moses is instituting a New Year a new era He is instituting the sacred calendar so that Israel and the world can know His prophetic plan for the ages!

This for Israel is a new beginning - a fresh new start as a freed and redeemed people! They are on the threshold of stepping over into destiny and purpose with God orchestrating this movement with a great demonstration of His power. Here, they were about to step over into something new.

Next year is prophesied to be the year of destiny, year of Newness of all things, And guess what? We too can step over into something new, a brand new beginning in Jesus Christ.

As you prepare to cross over today, make sure you do that with the Lord in the presence of God with your whole family, never cross over to the new year in clubbing with prostitute, never cross over to the new year with alcohol or with any fight and grudges in your heart against your neighbour. Be at peace with each other. See you next year 2016. Happy New Year from IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, BEFORE WE CROSS OVER TO THE NEW YEAR LET ALL BLESSING WE HAVE LOST BE RETURN BACK TO US.

PRAISE DISCHARGES STRENGTH IN FAITH ,

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PRAISE DISCHARGES STRENGTH IN FAITH ,

Praises causes God to move on our behalf. "From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise because of your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger" (Psalm 8:2).

Praising God also transforms the spiritual environment that we have. 2 Chronicles 5:13-14 clearly illustrates the alteration that happened when the Levites gave praise and thanks to the Lord and the temple was filled with a cloud signifying the glory of God. "The trumpeters and singers joined in unison, as with one voice, to give praise and thanks to the LORD. Accompanied by trumpets, cymbals and other instruments, they raised their voices in praise to the LORD and sang: 'He is good; his love endures forever.' Then the temple of the LORD was filled with a cloud, and the priests could not perform their service because of the cloud, for the glory of the LORD filled the temple of God."

God inhabits the atmosphere of praise. Psalm 22:3 says, "But thou art holy, O thou that inhabitest the praises of Israel" (KJV).

If we want to see a clear manifestation of God's blessings and grace, all we need to do is to praise Him with all our heart, our mind, and our soul. Do that in spirit and in truth today and you will be glad you did.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME LET THE POWER OF PRAISE IN OUR MOUTH BRING DOWN YOUR MIRACLES IN TO OUR LIVES.

WHY DO WE PRAISE GOD?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHY DO WE PRAISE GOD?

Praising God - Why?
Why is praising God important? The reasons are countless. First, God deserves to be praised and He is worthy to receive our praise:

"For great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; he is to be feared above all gods" (Psalm 96:4).
"Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom" (Psalm 145:3).
"I call to the LORD, who is worthy of praise, and I am saved from my enemies" (2 Samuel 22:4).
"You are worthy, our LORD and God, to receive glory and honor and power, for you created all things, and by your will they were created and have their being" (Revelation 4:11).

Second, praising God is useful and favorable for us. By praising God, we are reminded of the greatness of God! His power and presence in our lives is reinforced in our understanding. "Praise the Lord, for the Lord is good; sing praise to his name, for that is pleasant" (Psalm 135:3).

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS CHRIST ALWAYS GIVE US REASON TO PRAISE YOU MORE AND MORE IN JESUS NAME.

Praising God

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Praising God

Psalm 150:6 KJV
Let every thing that hath breath praise the Lord . Praise ye the Lord .

Praising God - The First Thing!
Do you know that praising God is the best thing to do first before anything else?
Have you ever been in a situation that you feel all alone? Or have you encountered a difficult situation in your life and you don't know what to do, like losing your job or suffering the loss of someone very close to your heart?
Consider the good times such as when you receive a raise from your boss or earn high marks at school? What do you usually do during these moments? Praising God makes every circumstance of our lives complete, essential, and eminently worthwhile.

Webster defines the word praise as to say good things about and it is synonymous to words such as admire, commend, extol, honor, and worship.
A definition of Christian praise is the joyful thanking and adoring of God, the celebration of His goodness and grace.

This simply implies that the act of praising is rightfully due to God alone.
How much time can you have for him today to show that you love him in your praise, we all have to leave whatever thing bothering us right now and just praise him. See today, this month, this end of the year and this hour, God is worthy of our praises. I challenge you to find time today and appreciate your maker. The king of Kings and Lord of Lords. The alpha and the omega. Your name is praised forever. Amen
LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME DON'T LET YOUR PRAISES DEPART FROM OUR MOUTH IN JESUS NAME.

Jesus

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: JESUS

Happy Christmas to you all the reader of IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL, today 25th of December we celebrate the birthday of our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ, I want you to know that if Jesus is not in your celebration your joy has not complete.
Jesus is the reason for the season. Hallelujah.

JESUS

Luke 1:31, “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.”

God chooses the name of his Son: Jesus. And Matthew 1:21 adds, “You shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.”

Jesus transliterates the Greek Iēsous which corresponds to the Hebrew name Joshua and means savior.
Therefore, the king of the universe is given the name savior. Not savior of the righteous. But savior of sinners. “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” (1 Timothy 1:15). All his holiness, all his deity and power stand in the service of his saving mercy. God broke into the universe to be a holy, divine, saving king.

All you need now is to give your life to him to make your celebration complete today, he came for you, to forgive your sins and give you a happy end in the kingdom of God when you die.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET THE SAVING POWER OF JESUS COME IN TO MY LIFE AND REDEEM ME FROM MY SIN IN JESUS NAME.

THREE FOLD OF PEACE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THREE FOLD OF PEACE

Luke 2:14 KJV
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

My great desire for you this Christmas is that you enjoy this peace. We know that there are global aspects to this peace that lie in the future when “the earth will be filled with the knowledge of the glory of the Lord as the waters cover the sea” (Habakkuk 2:14).

When, as Isaiah says, “Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end” (Isaiah 9:7).

But Jesus has come to inaugurate that peace among God’s people. And there are three relationships in which he wants you to pursue this peace and enjoy this peace. Peace with God. Peace with your own soul. And peace with other people, as much as it lies in you.

And by peace I mean not only the absence of conflict and animosity, but also the presence of joyful tranquility, and as much richness of interpersonal communication as you are capable of.

Make sure that you enjoying this three fold of peace as much as you can. The key to each of them is not to separate what the angels kept together: the glory of God and the peace you long for. “Glory to God in the highest and on earth peace.”

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET YOUR TRUE PEACE RULE OUR LIFE OUR WORLD AND OUR HEART IN JESUS NAME.

God of peace

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD OF PEACE

Luke 2:14 KJV
Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

God’s purpose is to give you peace by being the most glorious Person in your life. Five times in the New Testament he is called “the God of peace”
(Romans 15:13; 16 :20; Philippians 4:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:20).
And Jesus said, “My peace I give to you” (John 14:27).
And Paul said “Jesus himself is our peace” (Ephesians 2:14).

What this means is that the peace of God, or the peace of Christ, can never be separated from God himself and Christ himself. If we want peace to rule in our lives, God must rule in our lives. Christ must rule in our lives.
God’s purpose is not to give you peace separate from himself. His purpose is to give you peace by being the most glorious Person in your life.

So the key to peace is keeping together what the angels keep together: Glory to God, and peace to man. A heart bent on showing the glory of God, will know the peace of God.

And what holds the two together — God getting glory and us getting peace — is believing or trusting the promises of God obtained by Jesus. Romans 15:13 is one of those fundamental texts pointing to this crucial role of faith.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing.” In believing. In other words, the way God’s promises become real for us and produce peace in us and through us is “in believing.”

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS CHRIST, I PRAY FOR EVERY TROUBLE SOUL TO RECEIVE PEACE IN JESUS NAME.

JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAVIOR , MESSIAH AND THE LORD

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: JESUS CHRIST IS THE SAVIOR , MESSIAH AND THE LORD
“. . . a Savior . . .” “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior.” A Savior. If you have ever sinned against God you need a Savior. The angel said to Joseph, “You shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins” (Matthew 1:21).

Only God can forgive sins against God. That is why God sent the eternal Son of God into the world, because he is God. That’s why Jesus said, “The Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins.” Therefore, a Savior was born.

“. . . who is Christ . . .” “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ.” Christ is the English for Christos, which is means “anointed one,” which is the meaning of “Messiah” (John 1:41; 4:25).
This is the one long-predicted, long-awaited, the one anointed above all others (Psalm 45:7). The final anointed King. The final anointed Prophet. The final anointed Priest. In him all the promises of God are yes! (2 Corinthians 1:20). He would fulfill all the hopes and dreams of godly Israel. And more, vastly more. Because he is also . . .

“. . . the Lord.” “For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.” The ruler, the sovereign, the Mighty God, the Everlasting Father. The Lord of the universe.

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given; and the government shall be upon his shoulder, and his name shall be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Of the increase of his government and of peace there will be no end. (Isaiah 9:6–7). JESUS IS LORD NO CONTROVERSY

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS CHRIST, HAVE MERCY ON US AND CLEAN US FROM OUR SINS AND MAKE US HOLY. AMEN

It was a day

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: IT WAS A DAY

“For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” (Luke 2:11–14).

I want to exult with you this Christmas over the wonders in this text, with our focus mainly on verse 14: “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”

It Was a Real Day

“For unto you is born this day . . .” (verse 11). It happened on a day. A day in history. Not a day in some mythological, imaginary story, but a day when “Caesar Augustus was the emperor of Rome and Quirinius was governor of Syria.”

It was a day planned in eternity before the creation of the world. Indeed the whole universe — with untold light-years of space and billions of galaxies — was created and made glorious for this day and what it means for human history.

For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.” (Colossians 1:16).
For him! For his appearance. For this day of his appearing. “When the fullness of time had come, God sent forth his Son, born of woman, born under the law” (Galatians 4:4). It happened on a day. The perfect day. In the fullness of time. The perfect time appointed by God before the foundation of the world. “For unto you is born this day!”

All I want you to know in today's morning mean is that you are so special that God has to plan that a saviour will he born for you. Just for you,
All you need is to accept this gift from God and accept Jesus into your life and let today be your own day when your life will change and you will beginning to making a good heavenly journey at the end if your life.

John 14:6 KJV
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 3:17-18 KJV
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

THE IMPORTANCE AND POWER OF PRAYER.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE IMPORTANCE AND POWER OF PRAYER.

Our natural tendency is to shrink back when it comes to praying for the impossible.

A. The problem is that we rest the power of prayer too much upon ourselves.
B. We think that we are the ones making things happen in prayer.
C. Instead we are to see ourselves as instruments in the Lord’s hands for accomplishing his purposes through prayer.
D. Prayer is an act of obedience and privilege for the believer.
E. We are commanded to pray. But we are also invited to bring our needs before the Lord.
F. We are to anchor ourselves in his faithfulness and promises.
G. We are to see that the very fact that God commands us to pray is a foundation for effectiveness in our prayers

We hesitate to pray, thinking that it will do no good, but James calls our attention once again to the means God has established for doing his work among us—prayer.
Do you believe this? We are so accustomed to neglecting prayer that it is hard for us to think of its power through God among us.

all I know is that the devil knew the power of prayer and it's important, so is keeping me and you away from praying so that we won't get the answer we seek through it. Get up this morning and pray, surely you will get a sweet result.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME DESTROY EVERY SPIRITUAL WEAKNESS THAT WON'T ALLOW US TO PRAY A PREVAILING PRAYER IN JESUS NAME.

WHAT IS FERVENT PRAYER

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT IS FERVENT PRAYER

Text: James 5:16

Prayer does not equip you for greater works.
Prayer is the greater work. Oswald Chambers

As mature Christians we are naive to ignore or deny the reality of spiritual conflicts between good and evil and our role in them as believing saints. Our main weapon in a prayer offensive is a keen knowledge and application of scripture "declared verbally" in the same way Jesus fought the devil in his wilderness experience.

1. Prayer is a vital key that connects us with our heavenly Father.

2. Prayer is both an incredible privilege and an awesome responsibility. It can move the hand of God in situations where there is no other hope.

3. Biblical prayer is crying to God out of the depths; it is the pouring out of the soul before God.

4. "Prayer is like the dove that Noah sent forth, which blessed him not only when it returned with an olive-leaf in its mouth, but when it never returned at all."

James 5:16 The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

• When a person is RIGHT with God, the power of his sincere prayer is tremendous!"

• The conditions for that promise: "when a person is right with God and prays sincerely".

• Effectual fervent prayer is the hardest kind of work there is to do. Not only does it take more out of a person than any other kind of work, we have to handle ourselves with a strong discipline to make time for effectual fervent prayer.

God want you to talk to him in prayer, kindly fine time for yourself with the Lord and don't be lazy about it, there is power in prayer than whatever earthly power. Engage yourself in this today and surely miracle will. Happen.

Am Expecting your testimony

WHATEVER YOU ASK IN YOUR PRAYER TO DAY SHALL BE GRANTED IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE PRAY

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHEN GOD'S PEOPLE PRAY

Prayer is a wonderful privilege. God has opened the door to His throne room and invited His children to enter His presence with their petitions, Heb. 4:16.

He has promised to hear us when we call, Jer. 33:3. And, he has promised to answer our prayers when we pray according to His will, 1 John 5:14-15.
We all know that there are many privileges and promises associated with prayer. I want to remind us from this passage that prayer is also a very powerful endeavor.

We have all experienced the power of private prayer. We have experienced those times when we called on the Lord in the secret place of prayer and He heard us, and He answered us in power for His glory. There is something special about entering God’s presence, by yourself, to talk to Him in secret. It’s something we should all do, and should do often.

This passage reminds us that there is power in corporate prayer. There is a special dynamic that comes into play when God’s children come together, united in faith and purpose, to seek the face of the Lord in prayer.

Before you step out today, why not have a quality time with God alone and talk to him concerning your journey to day and see how amazing today will turn out. You can carry your family along in unity prayer and the whole day will be full of God's presence and guardians in your life,

Am expecting your testimony

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, EMPOWER MY SPIRIT MAN TO PRAY ALWAYS TO VICTORY IN JESUS NAME

You are valued

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: YOU ARE VALUED

Luke 12:7-9 KJV
But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: ye are of more value than many sparrows. [8] Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God: [9] But he that denieth me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

Rediscovering Your Worth
Nearly everyone feels insignificant at one time or another. You may be great on the football field and terrible in a chemistry lab. Maybe you are the star of the show with one group and totally ignored in another. Insignificance has more to do with how we feel about ourselves than our real value as people.

Feelings versus Fact

It is easy to feel totally worthless when people ignore us. It’s hard to stand up and be counted when we feel alone against the crowd. So, where can you discover your true value?

Feeling insignificant really hurts but regardless of our feelings, we do have real value. We are made in God’s image; created for great things! Life chips away at our souls, but God sees us as priceless. So much so, that God sent His only Son into our world to take our away our pain and offer us a new start.

How God Sees You

Jesus Christ sees you as an incredibly valuable person. He sees past your hurt and pain and recognizes that you have real worth. Better still, He is ready to take away the mess your life has become and offer you healing and forgiveness for whatever wrong things you have done. Instead of feeling insignificant, you can feel treasured by God. You can know the joy of belonging.

“You can feel treasured by God”
When we receive God’s gift of forgiveness, we discover that we were chosen, hand selected by God for a relationship with Jesus Christ that will never end. It leads us to a whole new way of living where we are valued and value others. Instead of feeling invisible in the crowd, we understand that God sees us and our needs every moment of every day.

What to Do Now

If you are tired of feeling insignificant, if you are tired of feeling invisible in a crowd, it is time to receive Jesus’ offer of new life.

It begins with a simple prayer like this:

LET US PRAY
“Dear Jesus, I am sorry for the wrong things I have done. I am tired of feeling insignificant. I want to have a relationship with you. Please become the Lord of my life. Thank you for seeing the value in me and help me to see myself through Your eyes. In Jesus’ name I pray, amen!”

WIFE STEPS TOWARD RESPECTING HER HUSBAND

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WIFE STEPS TOWARD RESPECTING HER HUSBAND

God doesn’t command a wife to feel respectful toward her husband. She is to be respectful. Her responsibility is to obey God, not her feelings.

A man needs his wife's respect and admiration. He thrives and grows toward godliness when this need is fulfilled. Maybe that’s why the Apostle Paul says, “The wife must respect her husband.” (Ephesians 5:33)

Easier said than done, especially in the heat of an argument. So what are some ways you can obey this command, and show respect for your husband?

1. PRAY FOR HIM

Something happens to us when we pray for people. Our hearts soften, our compassion and empathy increase, and we gain spiritual insight as to what the other person is going through. So pray for your husband. Ask God to give him wisdom, protection, guidance, knowledge, spiritual maturity, success, purity, and courage. Thank the Lord for how He has worked within your family, and for giving you this man. Pray for your attitude to change; rather than looking for your husband’s flaws, ask God to reveal his strengths. And then seek God’s answers to your prayers. Because He is listening!

2. MAKE A LIST OF YOUR HUSBAND’S GOOD QUALITIES

When routine takes over, we need to remind ourselves every once in a while why we fell in love in the first place. Reflect on your spouse’s character. What are his strengths? What do you admire about him? Review and add to your list regularly.

3. TELL YOUR HUSBAND WHAT YOU APPRECIATE ABOUT HIM

It’s really nice to hear the words “thank you”; it’s even better hearing a number of specific things someone admires about you. By telling your husband what you appreciate about him, you communicate your love and respect and gratitude.

4. LISTEN TO HIM

When your husband wants to talk, give him your full attention. Put down the phone or computer or remote, and listen. It’s also an important thing to remember when you’re the one who seeks him out! When you ask him a question, wait for his answer. And when he does talk, try not to shut him down right away. Actually listen to what he’s saying, and take his opinion into account.

5. DON’T PUT DOWN YOUR HUSBAND IN FRONT OF OTHERS

Especially your children. You and your husband are on the same team. You’re partners, supporters, and cheerleaders for each other. So when you are constantly criticizing him, it’s like you’ve abandoned his team. This doesn’t mean you can’t be open with your friends about your relationship; sometimes you really need to talk about what is going on, and an outside perspective can help. But if you find yourself endlessly putting him down: stop. This isn’t helpful to anyone. Instead, try and find something good to say about him, and even brag about him a little.

6. PUT A POSITIVE SPIN ON THINGS THAT ANNOY YOU

If you find it boring when he spends time telling you about his bad day, remember that at least he is talking to you, spending time with you, sharing his concerns with you, bringing you into his confidence, and giving you the chance to be supportive.

7. MAKE LOVE

By responding to his advances — and initiating advances of your own — you are communicating your loyalty to him, your selfless love for him, and your attraction to him. Plus, it’s pretty fun, too.

8. INVOLVE HIM IN YOUR LIFE

When you’ve been married for a while, it’s easy to go through life on autopilot. You each have your own routines, your own hobbies, your own friends. So make it a habit to include him in your activities, to talk about what is going on, to enjoy his company amidst the mundane. By including him in your everyday, you show him how much his presence brightens your life.

9. TALK IN “I” STATEMENTS

If you have a problem about a decision your husband has made, or if you’re in the midst of an argument, accepting responsibility for your feelings is crucial to communicating effectively. This invites conversation rather than defense. Say: “I’m confused about _. Can you explain it to me?” Or, “Can we talk about _? I feel uncomfortable about _.” Don’t say: “Why would you ever do it that way?” Or ask “Why?” in a way that implies he’s foolish.

10. BELIEVE YOUR HUSBAND HAS GOOD INTENTIONS

If you find yourself thinking negative thoughts about your husband, stop and choose to think of something else, especially things from your positive quality list.

A key to making your relationship feel safe and secure is to believe your spouse has good intentions. Even when your partner messes up, you can still believe he didn’t mean to.

Remember, God is working on you and your husband. You can both learn from your failures as well as your successes. Give God the freedom to teach your husband through failure. In the same way, allow God to teach you to trust Him through your — and your husband’s — failure.

AVOIDING DISSENSION IN MARRIAGE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: AVOIDING DISSENSION IN MARRIAGE

Prov 5.18,19

1. The duty of your marriageunion requires unity. Can you not agree with your own flesh?

2. Division with your spouse will pain and upset your whole life ... Just as you do not wish to hurt your own self and are quick to care for your own wounds; so you should take notice of any break in the peace of your marriage and quickly seek to heal it.

3. Fighting chills love, fighting makes your spouse undesirable to you in your mind. Wounding is separating; to be tied together through marital bonds while your hearts are estranged is to be tormented. To be inwardly adversaries, while outwardly husband and wife turns your home and delight into a prison. (11)

4. Dissension between the husband and the wife disrupts the whole family life; they are like oxen unequally yoked, no work can be accomplished for all the striving with one another.

5. It greatly makes you unfit for the worship of God; you are not able to pray together nor to discuss heavenly things together, nor can you be mutual helpers to each other's souls. (12)

6. Dissension makes it impossible to manage your family properly.(13)

7. Your dissension will expose you to the malice of Satan, and give him advantage for many, many temptations. (14)

DIRECTIONS FOR MAINTAINING LOVE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: DIRECTIONS FOR MAINTAINING LOVE

Eph 5.25,28,29,33.

Selfish ungodly persons everywhere enter into all kinds of relationships with a desire of serving their ownselves, and gratifying their own flesh without knowing or caring what is required of them.
Their desire is for the honour, profit, or pleasure their relationship will provide them but not for what God and man requires or expects from them.
[Gen 2:18, Prov 18:22] Their mind is concerned only with what they shall have and not for what they shall be and do.

They know what they want others to do for them, but do not care what their duty is to do for others. This is the way it is with too many husbands and wives.
We should be very concerned to know what the duties of our relationships are. And how we can please God in our relationships. Study and do your part, and God will certainly do his.

1. Choose a good spouse in the first place. A spouse who is truly good and kind. Full of virtue and holiness to the Lord. (2)

2. Don't marry till you are sure that you can love entirely.

3. Be not too hasty, but know beforehand all the imperfections which may tempt you to despise your future mate. (3)

4. Remember that justice commands you to love one that has forsaken all the world for you. One who is contented to be the companion of your labours and sufferings, and be a sharer in all things with you, and that MUST be your companion until death. (4)

5. Remember that women are ordinarily affectionate, passionate creatures, and as they love much themselves, so they expect much love from you.

6. Remember that you are under God's command; and to deny marital love to your wives, is to deny a duty which God has urgently imposed on you. Obedience therefore should command your love.

7. Remember that you are "one flesh"; you have drawn her to forsake father and mother, and to cleave to you; (5)

8. Take more notice of the good, that is in your wives, than of her faults. Let not the observation of their faults make you forget or overlook their virtues. (6)

9. Don't magnify her imperfections until they drive you crazy.
Excuse them as far as is right in the Lord. Consider the frailty of the sex. Consider also your own infirmities, and how much your wives must bear with you. (7)

10. Don't stir up the evil of your spouse, but cause the best in them to be lived out. (8)

11. Overcome them with love; and then they will be loving to you, and consequently lovely. Love will cause love, as fire kindleth fire. A good husband is the best means to make a good and loving wife. (9)

12. Live before them the life of a prudent, lowly, loving, meek, selfdenying, patient, harmless, holy heavenly Christian. (10)

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, REMOVE EVERY SATANIC MANIPULATION AND WORK IN OUR RELATIONSHIP IN AND HOME FOR A BETTER MARITAL BLISS IN JESUS NAME.

Power of husband communication to his wife

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: POWER OF HUSBAND COMMUNICATION TO HIS WIFE

Communication happens only when a message is clearly passed from one mind to another.

Remember that it is always not the matter at hand that leads to misunderstanding, it is the interpretation and response that leads to big misunderstanding.

After loving your wife, you must serve her.
One of the best ways to serve your wife is to understand her feelings and needs then try to meet them. When a woman loves her husband genuinely, she sees him as a shelter.
The way a child runs to his/her mother for protection is the same way a wife looks up to her husband for protection even after she has goofed.

Your job as a husband is to cover her shame first, then discipline her afterwards.
Husbands should love their wives as their own bodies.

The Bible said... He who loves his wife loves himself for no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does his church because we are members of his body Ephesians 5:22-30

Above all, build the attitude of prayer in your family. When a family prays together enemies flee such family.

LET US PRAY
EVERY WISDOM AND KNOWLEDGE YOU NEED TO BUILD A SWEET GODLY HOME, GOD WILL GIVE YOU IN JESUS NAME.

ROLES OF HUSBAND TO HIS WIFE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: ROLES OF HUSBAND TO HIS WIFE

Ephesians 5:25 says, "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself up for her."

The most important thing a man can do for his wife is to love her, and loving her means protecting her.
When you love your wife, you cover her gaps. This doesn't mean you shouldn't correct her.
That's why you are the head of your family. Scold her, point out all the areas in her life that need correction. Note that correction is different from humiliation.

One thing you should never do is to leave a wound in her heart while scolding her. Truth be told, some of us are actually the architect of our own misfortune but believe me, you are the only one that can help her overcome her shortcomings.

Remember no one is perfect, only God is. Some husbands expose their wives to external danger in the process of correction. The couple will always make up, but what happens after you make up with your wife?
You would have left her in the hands of people that will never forgive her. These people love you so much that they try to protect you but you have forgotten that a part of you is already endangered.

That is why communication is key in every relationship. If an information is misunderstood by the person it is meant for, there is definitely no communication.

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS CHRIST TAKE AWAY EVERY IN RESPONSIBILITY IN ME AND MAKE MY HOME SWEET

God's love

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD'S LOVE

THIS LOVE IS DESCRIBED IN THE CONTEXT

A. It Is Unspeakable -
I can't understand it, or why, but I know I have experienced it and I can never be separated from it - Rom. 8:38-39

B. It Is Unending -
Jer. 31:3…I have loved you with an everlasting love! God's love is eternal!

C. It Is Unselfish -
It asks for nothing in return! However, it leads man to repent and turn to God in love - Rom. 2:4; 1 John 4:19- We love him because He first loved us!

D. It Is Unmerited -
Cannot be earned or deserved!. His love is based in His grace! Jesus and Jerusalem - Matt. 23:37.

E. It Is Unconditional -
It is not based on what we can or cannot produce, it comes from the heart of God. Man can never reach a place when he will not be loved by God! God loved us first, He loved us anyway and He loves us eternally!

F. His love is Supernatural,
it is Sacrificing, it is Satisfying!

LET US PRAY,
LORD JESUS CHRIST, LET ME CONTINUE TO ENJOY YOUR LOVE IN ALL MY LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

Repentance

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: REPENTANCE

If you think you’re probably not saved, repent!
That’s the first order of business.

Take a real good look at your life. What are the sins in your life that God is angry about?

Ephesians 5:5-6 says, “For this you know with certainty, that no immoral or impure person or covetous man, who is an idolater, has an inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and God. Let no one deceive you with empty words, for because of these things the wrath of God comes upon the sons of disobedience.”

List them. Write them down. Ask God to search your heart and show you your sin. What are your idols? What is more important than God? What do you love more than His will? Identify those sins.
Once you know what those sins are, repent of them. Turn from them. If you hold onto those sins, you’re going to be destroyed. You can’t go to heaven clutching your sins. You’ve got to turn loose of them.

Are you living in sexual sin? Turn from that sin, and decide this morning by God’s grace, that you are going to change your life.

Are you abusing drugs or alcohol? Decide this morning that you are going to turn from that to Jesus with all your heart.

Are you a liar or a thief? Decide this morning that by God’s grace, you are going to turn and be converted.

LET US PRAY
LORD JESUS CHRIST, HELP ME TO FORSAKE MY SIN AND LIVE A HOLY LIFE IN JESUS NAME. AMEN
