WHEN DO YOU PRAISE GOD?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHEN DO YOU PRAISE GOD ?

Genesis 29:31, 35 KJV
And when the Lord saw that Leah was hated, he opened her womb: but Rachel was barren. [35] And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, Now will I praise the Lord : therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

It is very obvious here how God shown Leah that he loves her, according to Vers 31. Leah has two major physical problem
Firstly, she was hated
Secondly, her womb was close.

But God open her womb and gave her Children, not even one, from verse 31-35 we could see 4 Son, what a loving father is our God.
It was after the fourth Son that she remember to thank God...

Genesis 29:35 KJV
And she conceived again, and bare a son: and she said, NOW WILL I PRAISE THE LORD : therefore she called his name Judah; and left bearing.

When do you too see fit to praise the lord?
Many people praise God only when they are happy, when there is food on the table, money in their account, cloth on their body and why they are all-round blessed.

Psalm 34:1 KJV
I will bless the Lord at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.

We must praise the lord as all time, we should remember to praise him in the morning, noon and night, in the good and bad time, in death he is the Lord and while we are alive he will continue to be God Almighty, remember some are homeless, some are naked, some are powerless, lifeless, many are out of their senses so we call them mad person.

We should learn how to thank God will the whole of our heart and to the end of our lives
Psalm 30:12 KJV
To the end that my glory may sing praise to thee, and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks unto thee for ever.

Psalm 86:12 KJV
I will praise thee, O Lord my God, with all my heart: and I will glorify thy name for evermore.

If the Lord has been good to you let his praises be loud in your mouth. As for me the Lord has been good to me in my ups and downs, he has be God and in my ministerial journey in life till date God has been faithful, even when I failed him. He remain loyal to his promises he has made with me. I want the whole world to know as you read morning mean that the praises of God shall continually be in my mouth. Amen

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS, DON'T BE ANGRY AT OUR UNGRATEFUL ATTITUDE, LET TOUR GOODNESS NOT DEPART FROM US. AMEN

Power of praises

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: POWER OF PRAISES

Psalm 149

There’s power in our acknowledgement that He is worthy, above all else, of our worship and praise.
His Spirit urges us onward, to press in close to him. Doesn't matter how good or "not so good" we feel like we can sing, doesn't matter if we like upbeat worship, more reflective songs, or traditional hymns. Doesn't matter if we're alone, with a few, or in a big group. Doesn't even matter whether we "feel" like it or not. What matters is this - our hearts in tune with our Creator and King.

What the Power of Praise Can Do - 8 Things:

1. PRAISE GETS OUR FOCUS OFF OURSELVES AND BACK ON GOD. In our often “selfie” focused world, we need this constant reminder - life is not all about us. We may know that in our heads, but yet our hearts think differently so often. We're prone to selfishness, He desires our eyes be set firmly on Him, because that's where our true hope is found. He is worthy of our praise, no matter what we face from day to day.

“Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!” Psa. 150:2
"And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long." Psa. 35:28

2. PRAISE BRINGS US TO A PLACE OF HUMILITY. We remember our dependency on God, as we acknowledge our need for Him. As we praise Him as Creator and King of this world, we admit and recognize that we’re not in control, but He is. He is above all.

“Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” Psa. 95:2-3
"I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people." Psa. 35:18

3. PRAISE MAKES THE ENEMY FLEE. It pushes back the darkness the surrounds, and blocks the attacks and hissing lies over us. Evil will not stick around if we’re praising our God, who will fight our battles for us. In the story of Jehoshaphat, we see God miraculously defeat the enemy, because of the people’s obedience to praise Him.

“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated” 2 Chron. 20:22

4. PRAISE LEAVES NO ROOM FOR COMPLAINING AND NEGATIVITY. Sometimes even within our prayers, we can tend to complain about our problems. God knows our hearts. And He cares about all that concerns us. But through praise, we’re focused on Him, no longer allowing too much attention to be centered around the struggles. We’re reminded of what He has already done in our lives. We’re reminded that He knows what concerns us, and is capable of taking care of all that burdens us.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.” Psa. 103:2-4
"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name." Heb. 13:15

...CONTINUE TOMORROW...

LET US PRAY
Father in Jesus name, let the power of your praises manifest in our life to your glory this week in Jesus name Amen

True faith

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: TRUE FAITH

1peter 1:10-12

In our postmodern word, we often hear the statement that what works for you may not work for me.
So Peter had a faith in Christ that was timeless. His faith was valuable, revealing, and full of love. But how does that mean, what worked for Peter will work for me?

Almost as if Peter anticipated your question, he writes about the faith of others.

The prophets of the Old Testament found their faith in God to hold. (1:10) God spoke to the prophets and told them that the Messiah was coming. He gave them a hope that the One who could deliver them was on the way.

The message of the prophets can be summarized as, "Hang on. God is working and the Messiah is coming. Get ready, your deliverer is coming." Doesn't that sound like a message for people at the end of their hope, for people who don't know where to turn? It is a message of hope and encouragement. It is a promise.

How many people do you know that need to be encouraged not to give up. How many people near you need to be told that there is help on it's way.
May be you need to hear that God's promises are for you. That is the message of the Old Testament prophets.

Peter points out that the true faith is not only tied to the prophets, but also the fulfillment of those prophecies. There is a faith in the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus. (1:11)

A teacher said an astounding thing. He said that Christianity is the only religion which cannot reinvent itself. All other religions are based upon a philosophical basis. Other religions have been created out of a human mind. The teacher went on to state that if all religions were wiped from the face of the earth, someone could come along, and recreate any of the religions.
But not so with Christianity. Our faith is built upon the prophecies of the Old Testament, prophecies which said a Messiah is coming.
Hallelujah!!!

Our faith is built upon Jesus. We believe that he is the Messiah, the embodiment of the Old Testament prophecies. We believe that He died on a cross for our sins and that he rose again. We believe that he is coming back.
Amen!!!

If all of Christianity were to be destroyed, how could we recreate it in our minds? We could not. Our faith is not built upon philosophy, intellect, or creative speculations. Our faith is built upon the historical fact that Jesus, God's only Son, died on a Roman cross, in Jerusalem, on a hill called Golgatha, in 30 AD.

Our faith cannot be recreated, but thank God it is a faith which has stood the test of time, proven itself faithful when tested, and is the only true faith which holds in the storms of life.

This is TRUE FAITH. today the lord is calling you my reader to accept this faith which will give you eternal rest in heaven, don't delay in Jesus you will have rest. This is true faith.

LET US PRAY.
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, YOU WILL NOT GO TO HELL.

REFINED FAITH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: REFINED FAITH

1 Peter 1:7 KJV
That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

The goldsmith knew that he has pure gold when he can see his reflection in the metal. Our faith should reflect Jesus and reveal Him to a world. As we grow in Christ, we learn more about Him and His love. It is only through a life given to Christ, will we begin to see Him as He really is.
When I got married, I had spent more than five years dating my wife. However, dating, is not being married. There is a deeper stage of learning about each other in marriage. We begin to see each other in a new light. As our faith grows, more about the deeper nature of Christ is revealed to us. The end result of a Christ centered faith is that our lives are shaped and molded by Him.
Our faith begins to reflect that deeper knowledge of Jesus, our lives will begin to change. When you and I live differently, because our faith is growing, those around us will see the difference.

Quite literally, your life begins to reflect the image of Christ. Just as the goldsmith knew he had pure gold, when he looked into the metal and could see his reflection, Jesus desires His reflection in our lives. That can only happen in a refined faith that has been tested.

Brethren, you are reflecting Christ in your daily activities to the world. And you are growing daily as you allow more of him. Don't move away from him.
The more you move close to the mirror the more you see your self clearly,

So let your faith reflect Jesus to the world. Don't forget that faith without work is dead. If you are still afraid of sharing gospel to your friends your faith is not reflecting Jesus enough.

James 2:26 KJV
For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
A refined faith is a faith tried, molested, broken and abuses and still stand faithful and. A refined faith is the faith that reflect Jesus life.
Is your faith refined.

LET US PRAY
IN THE NAME OF JESUS MAY YOU BE FIND WORTHY OF GODS GLORY IN JESUS NAME.

Tested FAITH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: TESTED FAITH

1 Peter 1:6-8

Our faith must be anchored in the timeless nature of Christ, but I can hear the question. How do you know that a faith in Christ will hold up during the storms of life? Why should I trust Christ? Because, this is no ordinary faith, it is a tested faith. Countless people have placed their faith in Christ and found the anchor holds. Peter survived some incredible storms of life, and he says here is what I found the faith of Christ to be when it is put to the test.

Peter found a tested faith is valuable, revealing, and centered on love.

IT IS VALUABLE (1:7)
Peter here plays upon a great image, the goldsmith. A goldsmith would melt the metal down until it became a liquid. All the impurities would come to the surface and the goldsmith would scrape them off and allow the metal to cool. He would then come back and repeat the process over and over. His goal was pure gold. How did he know when he had pure gold? When no impurities came to the surface or when he could see his reflection in the melted gold.

Peter says that our faith is like gold, as it is tested, it will begin to bring the impurities to the surface. When the impurities are removed our faith becomes more valuable. (1:7) Gold is the standard by which we define value. We say things like, "worth it's weight in gold", "the golden boy", and "the golden age". Our jewelry is made of gold and we trade with it. In Peter's world and in ours, gold was considered one of the most valuable things a person could have.

While gold is valuable, it is secondary to our faith. Gold can perish, but our faith will endure.

faith in Jesus Christ will carry us through this life and even into the world to come.
faith in the death, burial, and resurrection of God's only Son is far more valuable than gold. Our faith is in something eternal, not in something that can be destroyed.

whatever trials and tribulations you are passing through faithfully as a Christian and not because of sin is to sharpen you and it's a test of your faith. Be faithful and don't compromise. You will be greatly celebrated in Jesus name.

LET US PRAY
IN THE NAME OF JESUS YOU WILL OVERCOME EVERY OF YOUR TROUBLES AND TRIALS IN JESUS NAME.

KEEP FAITH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: KEEP FAITH

In his Gospel (18:1-8), Luke recounts the parable of the widow who seeks justice from a judge. Unfortunately, the judge was “unrighteous”; he didn’t care about justice for the widow. In her culture, however, the widow was powerless; only the judge could help her, and so she returned to him again and again, beseeching him, “Do me justice.” Finally the judge grants her request, not because he is just (he doesn’t “fear God nor respect man”), but because he is tired of the widow bothering him.
God is like that judge: He is the only one who can bring justice to the world. Unlike the judge in the story, however, God is not unrighteous; He cares about justice and about those who seek it from Him. Jesus, who told His disciples the parable “to show that at all times they ought to pray and not to lose heart,” asks them: If an evil judge will grant justice after a long time just because he is weary, won’t a good judge “bring about justice for His elect, who cry to Him day and night” and won’t He “bring about justice for them speedily”? Of course God will “keep faith” with us; He will do what He has promised.

Matthew 24:35 KJV
Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.

Keep believing, have faith and continue in holiness, even when road seems block and when life seems difficult. Hold on to Gods word. He will do miracle in Jesus name.

LET US PRAY
IN THE NAME OF JESUS, THE LORD WILL PUT AN END TO ALL YOUR TROUBLES AND YOUR WORRIES WILL TURN TO TESTIMONIES IN JESUS NAME.

WHEN JESUS RETURNS WILL HE FIND US FAITHFUL?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHEN JESUS RETURNS WILL HE FIND US FAITHFUL?

One of the main things Jesus taught during his 3 ½ years of public ministry was the importance of obedience. In Matthew 28:19 Jesus gave his final command: “Go makes disciples of all nations, teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you.” “Obedience.” Is necessary for a person to become a disciple of Jesus.

We may do many great things in our life-time according to the standards of this world. But the paramount question we all must face is this, “WHEN JESUS RETURNS WILL HE FIND US FAITHFUL?” Luke 18:8, “When the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?” When you meet Jesus face to face will he find you faithful to His teachings?

It is a sobering truth that the Bible teaches that when Jesus returns He will find the majority of the world population being unfaithful and disobedient to His teachings.

Luke 17:22-30. Jesus taught His disciples that He would return when people lest expected His coming. “Just as it was in the days of Noah, so also will it be in the days of the Son of Man. People were eating, drinking, marrying and being given in marriage up to the day Noah entered the ark. Then the flood came and destroyed them all.”

During the days of Noah the majority of the people enjoyed wine, women and sinful pleasures. There were no moral standards. Life was just one big party. Genesis 6 describes the wickedness of the people. They laughed at the idea that God was creator and Lord. As far as they were concerned God did not exist. Right up to the time God shut the door of the Ark, people had no time for their Creator. “But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord.” Genesis 6:8

Noah was faithful and obedient to His God and Creator. Because He was faithful his family was saved.

Jesus spoke with clarity about the consequences of disobedience. “And the world will be as it was in the days of Lot. People went about their daily business – eating and drinking, buying and selling, farming and building—until the morning Lot left Sodom. Then fire and burning sulfur rained down from heaven and destroyed them all. Yes it will be ‘business as usual’ right up to the hour when the Son of Man returns. Remember what happened to Lot’s wife!” (Luke 17:28-30, 32)

The Lord is sending me to tell you that he is coming soon very soonest. Jesus sent me to tell you to get prepare and be faithful in whatever you are passing through. Stay faithful. Maranathan. Come Lord Jesus. Amen.

LET US PRAY
IN THE NAME OF JESUS CHRIS ME AND YOU WILL NOT MISS THE RAPTURE OF SAINT.

JESUS GREAT QUESTION

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: JESUS GREAT QUESTION

Luke 18:8 KJV
I tell you that he will avenge them speedily. Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?

I want to focus on is Jesus’ statement, "However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?" For years this statement puzzled me. What kind of faith was Jesus talking about? The passage is directed to God’s people, so we know this is not talking about saving faith. Jesus is talking to believers, but what an astounding statement! Jesus is clearly telling us that when he comes back for his people he will not be able to find faith among them.

But what is this faith Jesus is talking about? The answer is simple. It can be answered in the form of a question. When Jesus comes back, will he find a church that is putting its trust in Jesus and His Word? Or will he find a church that has compromised and is relying on the world system to meet its needs and fulfill its desires.

Why don’t Christians get involved in Aggressive Evangelism? Many Laymen do not get involved because of the fear of the rejection of man. The lack of faith Jesus is talking about in this passage is motivated by fear also, but a different kind of fear. This fear is not a fear of man, but rather a lack of trust that Jesus really cares about us individually and will take care of us and our needs if we will walk with him and let Him have His way in our lives, that we do have a future. The sad problem is that most Christians do not have faith in Jesus. They are more concerned about making sure they do not lose what they have on this earth than to let Jesus have his way in their lives and invest in the Kingdom of God.

To have faith in Jesus means to make a willful decision to believe that Jesus loves you and will provide you with what you need, though not necessarily what you want. Jesus put it this way, he said,

"Do not lay up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there will your heart be also." (Matt 6:19-21).

Why don’t the majority of Christians get involved in aggressively reaching out to the lost, hurting and scattered? Because they have no faith in God’s goodness. Because they do not their focus is not the kingdom of God and His righteousness, but storing up treasures on earth that will not carry on into heaven

I challenge us all today to start working for the expansion of the kingdom and face the burning furnace of the kings for a powerful end time revival.

LET US PRAY
FATHER LET YOUR FIRE OF REVIVAL CONTINUE BURNING IN US AND LET US NOT LOSE OUR FAITH IN YOU IN JESUS NAME.

Make love a Priority

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: MAKE LOVE A PRIORITY

Indeed loving people is difficult. Yet this is what the Bible commands.
"For this is the message you have heard from the beginning: we should love one another" (1 John 3:11).

We spend time on what we deem important. For many of us these choices are valid: time with family and friends, work, prayer, serving the poor, fighting for rights, protesting wrongs. But as the Scripture reminds us, "And if I donate all my goods to feed the poor, and if I give my body in order to boast but do not have love, I gain nothing" (1 Cor. 13:3).

Even though we have the freedom to set our own priorities, Jesus made a point of defining certain ones of them for us: "'Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.' This is the greatest and most important commandment. The second is like it: 'Love your neighbor as yourself'" (Matt. 22:37-39).

Love, then, is not a gray area the Scriptures. Jesus gave love priority over all other Christian virtues. Every thought, response, and act of goodwill must first pass through the fine filter of love, or it means nothing at all.
In "Strength to Love",

Martin Luther King, Jr., encouraged us to realize that "our responsibility as Christians is to discover the meaning of this command and seek passionately to live it out in our daily lives.

1 John 4:8 KJV
He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET THE FIRE OF YOUR TRUE LOVE CONTINUE BURNING IN OUR LIVES AND QUENCH EVERY STRANGE FIRE OF SIN IN US IN JESUS NAME.

Love must be kind.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: LOVE MUST BE KIND.

Romans 12:14 KJV
Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

There are two parts to this that we must consider:

1. What happens to us.

2. How we respond.

We will be persecuted. We will be hated, mistreated, misunderstood, lied about, gossiped about, and there will be those who go beyond this to hurt us deeply, leaving scars that last for a lifetime. Sometimes the attacks come from those closest to us, sometimes from within our own family, often from our circle of very close friends, and sometimes from people we thought were our best friends. There is no escaping this reality, and to deny it is like denying the sun comes up in the east and sets in the west.

Sooner or later people we loved and trusted will let us down, and some of them will turn on us. We can’t predict how or when it will happen or who it will be, but it will happen, and what will we do then?

How do you bless someone when you would rather curse them?

Here’s a simple way to do that. When faced with someone who has mistreated you, ask God to do for them what you want God to do for you.
Seek the blessing for them that you want God to do for you.

Think of it this way: The greater the hurt, the greater the potential blessing that will come when we bless those who curse us. Remember that your enemy is a gift from God to you. Though you don’t know it and often can’t see it, the person who has hurt you so deeply is a gift from God to you. To say that is not to excuse evil or to condone mistreatment. It is to say exactly what Joseph meant when he said to his brothers, “You meant evil against me, but God meant it for good” (Genesis 50:20).

Our enemies humble us, they keep us on our knees, they reveal our weakness, and they expose our total need for God. Just as David needed King Saul to pursue him, to persecute him and repeatedly attempt to kill him, we need the enemies God sends to us. If we didn’t need them, he wouldn’t send them.

Therefore, we thank God who knows best, and we love our enemies the best way we can. Often God raises up an enemy to see if we really want to be like Jesus. He will keep our enemies alive and well as long as we need them.

LET US PRAY
IN THE NAME OF JESUS THE POWER OF THE ENEMY WILL NOT OVERTAKE YOU. YOU WILL ALWAYS BE THE WINNER IN JESUS NAME. AMEN.

THE ORIGIN, ESSENCE AND SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF VALENTINE DAY:

THE ORIGIN, ESSENCE AND SPIRITUAL IMPLICATIONS OF VALENTINE DAY:

During the third century, an oppressive Roman Emperor called Emperor Claudius II had made it a capital punishment (death) to worship and serve Christ.
He had decreed the Romans to serve and worship his gods, and deprived the young Roman soldiers of getting married.

But an elderly Christian had stood his ground for his faith and had insisted on serving Jesus Christ and preaching the love of God to the young soldiers.
This was considered treason against the government.
He was arrested, sentenced to death and jailed. In the last weeks of his life in the prison, the jailer (prison commander) who observed that he was very learned and possessed very good Christian character, brought his blind daughter to him to be giving her lessons.

He taught her about God and told her many Roman histories and stories from the Bible. He taught her the love of God. The blind girl got so used to the elderly Christian prisoner. On his last night he left a note for Julia, the blind girl, encouraging her to love God and serve Him. And in ending the note, he wrote: "From your Valentine".

His death sentence was carried out the next day, February 14, 270 A.D.
*The name of this martyr was Valentinus*, a man who died for standing for the Preaching of the Christ and teaching people about the love of God.
So, for his love for God, he was regarded as 'Saint'.
Archaeologists have unearthed a Roman catacomb; an ancient church dedicated to Saint Valentine. During 496 AD, the Pope marked February 14 as celebration in honor of his martyrdom.
*February 14, is known as Valentine Day. But the essence of Valentine Day historically was a celebration in honor of the martyrdom of a devoted preacher, Valentinus, who stood on his faith in Christ against the devilish idolatry decrees of a Godless Emperor.*

*He preached Christ to the Roman soldiers and spread the love for God and humanity when it was a crime to do so. The day he was martyred was declared "Valentine Day". February 14, 270 AD.*
However, the devil has rewritten history today. All over the world, the history has successfully been erased and rewritten the way the devil wanted. The reason for the DAY has been blotted out from people's memory and a minor aspect of the whole story had been blown beyond proportion. The little card note Valentinus had left behind for Julia, her young beloved convert, whom she taught, preached to and prayed for, had ended with: "From Your Valentine".
*On February 14, in the year 270.AD, somebody died for Christ and is now in Heaven, but on February 14, 2017, several people will die spiritual death.*
The Destinies of several young men and girls will be aborted that day, because the devil had changed the reason for the Valentine Day celebrations. He had rubbed off living and dying for Christ and replaced it with living and dying on the bed of immorality.

That day, many young girls and ladies will give their virginity away for a gift of phones, ipads, bags, clothes, and even valueless gifts as little as chocolate, sweet, fried chickens and plates of pepper-soup and salad.
By the evening of this year Feb 14, demons of fornication and adultery will invade our streets and storm our night clubs and hotels to take register of those who are dying soon of STDs, including new candidates who are going to contact HIV and AIDS.
On Feb 14 this year, forces of evil are coming down on adulterated Valentine Day to possess people with the spirit of Rape and drug abuse. Imagine the amount of pregnancy preventive drugs and materials that shall be sold. Harlots will sell that day. There will be Christian backsliders that day....BECAUSE SOME GLORIOUS DESTINIES WILL BE ABORTED ON VALENTINE DAY.

*The story of Reuben, Genesis 35:21-22a:*
21. Then Israel journeyed and pitched his tent beyond the tower of Eder.
22. And it happened, when Israel dwelt in that land, that Reuben went and lay with Bilhah his father’s concubine; and Israel heard about it.

A strange spirit came upon Reuben, the first born of Jacob, and he went and slept with his father's young wife. Israel heard about it and said nothing. Nothing was heard about it again for many years, and we never heard that Reuben asked for forgiveness or repented or became sober about it and the matter died just like that. Really?
So many events came over it, nobody mentioned it again. He went with the rest of Jacob's children to Egypt; he saw the glories of Egypt. He was welcomed into the palace of Joseph and ate with him in the royal palace. He grew and had many children and everything was going fine for him till the day their father would say the last prayers for them and give them his final decree.
At the point of death, whatever he said was final for life.
He gathered them together for the final blessing and began to bless them all. But he began with Reuben, the first son, who was to be the heir who should carry the highest blessings among the children.

The record was opened to his long forgotten atrocity. He thought it had been swept under the carpet. He thought he was smart and he had had a simple fun. But his father opened his mouth for his final blessing and said: Gen. 49:3-4 (NKJV)
3. “Reuben, you are my firstborn,
My might and the beginning of my strength,
The excellency of dignity and the excellency of power.
4. Unstable as water, you shall not excel,
Because you went up to your father’s bed;
Then you defiled it—He went up to my couch.
Though he was the beginning of Jacob's strength, he was supposed to be an epitome of Excellency of dignity and power. He was to be naturally blessed and was born to be a man of natural dignity and power, but....HIS DESTINY WAS ABORTED the day he had "fun" with his father's young wife. So, his own verdict was: *"You shall not Excel"* from a man who was anointed to proclaim a final verdict on the Sons of Israel. Reuben was destined to be a royal dignified personality above his siblings, but for that single night of 'fun' with that woman.

Many people will have a lot of lustful funs on Feb 14, and wake up Feb 15 morning as normal, but the truth is: long after a very hot pressing iron had been disconnected from the power source; it would still be hot for a while, until it begins to grow cold. Some power cable would be disconnected from the power source of some people on Feb 14.
Some young men and women will place their entire life virtues and destinies in the hand of marine agents that night.
Feb 14 evening is a 'Night of Fun', when many men and ladies will slaughter their destinies on the bed of lustful pleasure. By Feb 15 morning it is done!
Destiny Auctioned to a young man or a lady whose future has been mortgaged to the devil.
If Joseph had had a fun with Potiphar’s wife, he would never have got to the palace to see the type of Glory he saw. He escaped that trap which would have aborted his destiny on which so many lives in Egypt and Canaan land, including the lives of his generation unborn depended upon.
There is a great story in *Proverbs 7:6-27*. It is a sad story of a young man on his own "Valentine Night".
He had thought he wanted to have a fun that night, he had thought he wanted to enjoy himself, but crashed his future in a night of fun.

*Proverbs 7:21-23*
21. With her enticing speech she caused him to yield,
With her flattering lips she seduced him.
22. Immediately he went after her, as an ox goes to the slaughter,
Or as a fool to the correction of the stocks,
23. Till an arrow struck his liver.
As a bird hastens to the snare,
He did not know it would cost his life.
I beg every child of God reading this post to send it to their loved ones especially all those whom they know have not known the true meaning of Valentine Day so that their destinies could be preserved for their glorious future.

Dear brethren, Please let's post this write up to our young ones to guide them in escaping the devil's traps on Valentine's Day and pray that the power of God will prevail against the desires of the devil.

May The Lord bless us as we preach the true meaning of the DAY which the devil has bastardized.

A GOOD, GODLY MOTHER AND WIFE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: A GOOD, GODLY MOTHER AND WIFE

Proverbs 31:10-12 KJV
Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies. [11] The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil. [12] She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

The closest thing to God's love is a Mothers love.

The closest love to God’s love is to witness the love of a good mother.
Sadly this is not always the case, but it is the best model we have to follow.

Before I start I would like to thank and pray For my wife, the mother of my children, who has been a wonderful mother to our children Pastor Omolola Abosede Israel. God bless you more I love you.

Here is a question for you, what exactly are mothers, or should I say, what makes a good mother?

Good mothers can be teachers or disciplinarians, … but they can also be nurses and doctors and psychologists and counsellors. … And good mothers are also developers of personalities, and shapers of attitudes; … and yet mothers can have soft voices that can say, "I love you", with an affection that is a direct link to God himself. Good mothers are all of these things, and more.

There is a very famous American columnist and author called Erma Bombeck, who focused on suburban home life, and she said "that on the day God created mothers, … he put in a lot of overtime, so much so that an angel said to Him, "Lord, you are spending a lot of time on this one."

But the Lord turned round and said, "Have you read the specification on this model? … She is to have a kiss that will heal everything from a broken leg to a broken heart. … She is to be able to function on coffee and tea and leftovers; and she is supposed to have six pairs of hands."

"Six pairs of hands, that is impossible", said the angel, "Yes, but it is not the six pairs of hands that bothers me", said the Lord, "It is the three pairs of eyes. … She is supposed to have one pair of eyes that sees through closed doors so that whenever she says, `What are you kids doing in there?’, ... she already knows what they’re doing in there".

"She also has to have another pair eyes in the back of her head to see all the things that she is not supposed to see, ... but must see. ... And then she has one pair of eyes right in front that can look at a child that just messed up, and communicate love and understanding without saying a word".

"But that’s too much." said the angel, "You can’t put that much in one model. Why do you not rest for a while and resume your creating tomorrow?"

"No, I can’t," said the Lord. "I am nearly finished, as I have created someone like myself. … I have created a model who can heal herself when she is sick, ... and feed a family of six with one pound of mince, ... and who can persuade a nine year old to take a bath."

Then the angel looked at the model of motherhood a little more closely and said, ... "She is too soft"! ... "Oh, but she is tough," said the Lord, ”and you will be surprised at how much this mother can do".

Take time to appreciate your mother and wife for been a good mother to you. And God will bless you in Jesus name. Amen

Show some love

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

Topic: Show Some love.

Romans 12:9-16

Love Must Display Tender Affection.

“Love one another with brotherly affection” (v. 10a).

Paul uses two words that speak of the love of family members for each other. One of them is a word you already know–philadelphia. It comes from two Greek words that have been joined together:philos, which means tender affection, fondness, devotion,” and adelphos, usually translated “brother,” but it literally means “one born of the same womb.” So the word philadelphia literally means “tender affection owed to those born from the same womb.”

It’s easy to understand why the early Christians adopted this word to describe Christian love. All Christians have been “born of the same womb” through the new birth. Everyone who is saved is saved the same way.

God doesn’t have three different plans of salvation–Plan A for Protestants, Plan B for Catholics, and Plan C for everyone else.

Jesus said, “You must be born again” (John 3:3). To be born again means to receive new life through personal faith in Jesus Christ. It means to be “born from God’s womb.”

Everyone who belongs to Jesus belongs to me. And I owe all of them tender affection and brotherly love.
Let us be clear about this. We are to love all true believers everywhere all the time. That’s hard because most of us have some inner qualifications.

We don’t like this group or that denomination. Maybe we’re not comfortable with people who speak in tongues or with those who use a Prayer Book. We may even distrust people who have a different worship style that we do. Maybe we have some preferences regarding skin color or ethnic background. Put simply, all such thinking is simply wrong and must be abandoned.

God’s kingdom is not limited to graduates of one seminary or members of one denomination or to people who look, think and act just like us. God’s kingdom embraces all true believers no matter who they are or what church they happen to attend.
Let show Christ love to everyone born of God and everyone around us. Don't forget "for God so love the world"

1 John 4:7-8 KJV
Beloved, let us love one another: for love is of God; and every one that loveth is born of God, and knoweth God. [8] He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

LET US PRAY
EVERY SPIRIT OF HATRED IN OUR LIFE IS CAST OUT IN JESUS. MAY GOD'S LOVE REIGN IN OUR LIFE IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

SECOND HAND CHRISTIAN

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SECOND HAND CHRISTIAN

Genesis 13:5-9 RSV)
We have been reading of this man, Lot, all through the story of Abram. He was Abram's nephew, and he came with him out of the land of Ur. The whole story of this man is told in one brief phrase in Verse 5, "Lot, who went with Abram." That sums up Lot's whole life. He went with Abram! Wherever Abram was, Lot was. When Abram stopped, Lot stopped. "With Abram" -- that is all that can be said of him.
Many of the commentators seem to feel it was wrong for Abram to take Lot with him out of the land of Ur. There is no doubt he was a continual weight around his neck. But Scripture never implies that it was wrong to bring Lot along. Lot evidently responded when God spoke to Abram and called him to go out into a land which would be shown him. Lot wanted to go along, and Abram, wishing to help him, agreed. The trouble is not with Abram, but with Lot.
Lot seems to be a picture of those Christians who depend upon others for faith and inspiration to act. There are many Lots around. They never seem to learn to walk alone with God, but lean on another's faith for strength. As long as they have a strong church to lean on, or a close friend who is a faithful Christian, or they can listen to a gospel radio station all day long, or they have a Christian magazine coming regularly, then all goes well. But where the prop is weak, they are weak also. When Abram's faith failed, Lot's faith failed. Lot just leans on Abram all the way. He is clearly a second-hand Christian. Although his own faith is genuine (and the New Testament makes it clear that Lot was indeed a righteous man), nevertheless, he depends wholly upon Abram for the effectiveness of his service.
And you know when he separated himself he was attacked again until Abraham came to rescues him .

Brethren, it's time for you too be be strong in the Lord. Your pastor faith and the brethren around you might be working for you not, but it will get to a time that you will be left to declare your faith like the 3 Hebrew. Like the apostle in the face of trials. Don't forget you will stand alone to take your judgement, you won't be stand or judge on another man's work.

Ephesians 6:10 KJV
Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

LET US PRAY
RECEIVE DIVINE POWER TO BE STRONG AND TO BE A VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN IN JESUS NAME

Amos 3:3 KJV

Proverbs 18:24 KJV
A man that hath friends must shew himself friendly: and there is a friend that sticketh closer than a brother.

We live in an age of deception and mistrust. It is very difficult to find a true friend. In the world there are all kind of friends.

Nosey friends are those who live in your business.

Jealous friends who want your possesions.

Lying friends who will lie on you.

Unsaved friends who will lead your soul straight to the pit of hell.

But a true friend will not wait on your call, he will call you. A friend is one who walks in when the rest of the world walks out. A true fried is one who knows the song in your heart and can sing it back to you when you have forgotten the words.

True friendship is one mind in two bodies. A true friend is one who reaches for your hands and touches your heart. In prosperity our friends know us but in adversity, we know our friends. Walking with a friend in the dark is better than walking alone in the light. A true friend does not have to tell you he loves you, you know he does.

5. True friendship is not hindered by distance.

6. True friendship is not based on occupation and image.

7. True friendship is not affected by a reduction in

status.

8. A true friend will not let his friend die without Jesus.

In the third place, A True Friend Will Reveal Himself in Adversity.

A. In adversity a friend becomes a brother.

B. A friend in need is a friend indeed.

C. When in trouble the first thing you will see is his heart.

In the fourth place, A True Friend is a Friend From A to Z.

A. He accepts you as your are.

4kinds of freedom

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: 4 KINDS OF FREEDOM

John 8:32, 34, 36 KJV
And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. [34] Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. [36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

There are at least four kinds of freedom. And each one adds a crucial dimension of freedom to the last until we get to the full freedom — "free indeed."

Let me try to sum up these four kinds of freedom in one definition of full and complete freedom:

You are fully free — completely free, free indeed — when you have the DESIRE, the ABILITY, and the OPPORTUNITY to do what will make you HAPPY in a THOUSAND YEARS. Or we could say, You are fully free when you have the DESIRE, the ABILITY, and the OPPORTUNITY to do what will leave you NO REGRETS FOREVER.

If you don't have the desire to do a thing, you are not fully free to do it. Oh, you may muster the will power to do what you don't want to do, but nobody calls that full freedom. It's not the way we want to live. There is a constraint and pressure on us that we don't want.

And if you have the desire to do something, but no ability to do it, you are not free to do it.

And if you have the desire and the ability to do something, but no opportunity to do it, you are not free to do it.

And if you have the desire to do something, and the ability to do it, and the opportunity to do it, but it destroys you in the end, you are not fully free — not free indeed.

To be fully free, we must have the DESIRE, the ABILITY, and the OPPORTUNITY to do what will make us HAPPY FOREVER. NO REGRETS. And only Jesus, the Son of God who died and rose for us, can make that possible. If the Son shall set you free, you shall be free indeed. To be happy forever, our sins must be forgiven and God's wrath removed and Christ must become our supreme Treasure. Only Jesus can do that. In fact, he has already done it. He died for our sins. He absorbed God's wrath. And he rose from the dead and is today therefore supremely precious. And he offers us that now as a free gift.

LET US PRAY
EVERY POWER THAT TIE YOU DOWN SHOULD CATCH FIRE NOW IN JESUS NAME YOU ARE FREE INDEED IN JESUS NAME.

BE WHOM YOU ARE MADE TO BE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: BE WHOM YOU ARE MADE TO BE.

Text:Jeremiah 18:6 KJV
O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? saith the Lord . Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are ye in mine hand, O house of Israel.

Am going to conclude our winning topic today by telling you a story. It's the story of pencil.
It's actually parable about the pencil to you my reader who will catch insight of the lesson.

Isaiah 45:9 KJV
Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! Let the potsherd strive with the potsherds of the earth. Shall the clay say to him that fashioneth it, What makest thou? or thy work, He hath no hands?

The Pencil Maker took the pencil aside, just before putting it into the box he said:”
"Before I send you out into the world, there are five things you need to know to become the best pencil you can be."

"ONE, you will be able to do many great things, but only if you allow yourself to be held in someone’s hand."

"TWO, you will experience a painful sharpening from time to time, but you'll need it to become a pointed pencil."

"THREE, with an eraser, you will be able to correct any mistakes you might make."

"FOUR, remember the most important part of you is what's inside."

"FIVE, on every paper you are used on, you must leave your mark. No matter what the condition, you must continue to write. Remember these five things and you will be a great pencil that you can be."

The pencil understood and promised to remember, and went into the box with purpose in its heart.
Psalm 40:1-2 KJV
I waited patiently for the Lord ; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry. [2] He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Dear meaning mean reader, each of you has a purpose in your heart.
Fulfill that God-given purpose. Learn from the ways of the pencil, learn from the ways of the winners: BE A WINNER

LET US PRAY
Every spirit of failure in you is cast out today in Jesus name, may you fulfill your God's giving purpose in life in Jesus name Amen.

Nothing is Impossible

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE.

If you want to be a winner you must believe that there is nothing impossible.
You must always be positive and always use positive words. “nothing is impossible.” The bible clearly says that there is nothing impossible to those who believe.

Do you know who were the first persons to climb to the top of Mount Everest? There were two of them: Edmund Hillary from New Zealand and Tensing Norgay from Nepal.

Mount Everest is the highest mountain in the world standing 29,035 feet or 8,850 miles. Everest has long been considered unclimbable. Many climbers had attempted to do it and many lost their lives trying. Climbing Mount Everest is extremely dangerous. Besides the freezing weather (which puts climbers at risk for extreme frostbite) and the obvious potential for long falls from cliffs and into deep crevasses, climbers of Mount Everest suffer from the effects of the extreme high altitude, often called "mountain sickness."

But Hillary and Norgay had a dream. They rehearsed it in their minds day and night. Finally, after years of dreaming and planning and rehearsing their strength, and seven weeks of climbing, Hillary and Norgay became the first persons to ever reach the summit of Mount Everest. Nothing is impossible!

Mark 9:23 KJV
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

LET US PRAY
This week every power of impossibility is destroy by the power of God and your impossibility will turn to possibility in Jesus name.

IMITATE JESUS

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: IMITATE JESUS
...CONTINUE FROM YESTERDAY

Hebrews 12:2 KJV
Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Brethren, to be a winner we have to be like Jesus and that is to imitate him. His character, likes. Dislikes and in Holiness.
Secondly we have to be looking unto him,
Yes if we are to imitate someone who is a winner already we have to look unto him as a perfect coach to train us to win the prize. And to achieve this we have to be looking unto him.

Philippians 3:14-16 KJV
I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. [15] Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. [16] Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Christ is the perfect image of humanity. If you must have an American idol, let it be Jesus. The bible tells we are created in the image of God but that image was darkened because of sin. It is like seeing your face in a broken glass. Jesus is the clear mirror of our souls. Each one of us is unique so do not compare yourself with others. If you always compare yourself with others, you will either feel inferior because there are others better than you or you will feel superior because you think you are better than the others. But if you imitate Jesus, you will never fail. Jesus is the supreme example of faith, hope and love.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME. HELP US TO BE LIKE YOU AND MAKE US A WINNER IN JESUS NAME.

Winning the prize

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WINNING THE PRIZE.

Philippians 3:14:”My friends, I do not consider myself perfect. But one thing I do, forgetting what is behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on towards the goal to win the prize for which God has called me.”

In this world, there are two kinds of people: the losers and the winners. The losers go through life missing the mark, not fulfilling the potentials that God has given them. The winners go through life hitting the mark, always trying to fulfill God’s will. The losers when they try and fail, they get stuck in depression and regret. The winner, when they try and fail, they always rise up. The losers always think that failure is final; the winners always think that “success is never-ending and failure is never final.”

As children of God, we are made to become winners. What are the ways of the winners?

1. WALK WITH FAITH
The first step to become a winner is to walk with faith. How do you walk with faith? Do you walk like this (stoop down in defeat)? Or like this (look up and ahead)? When you walk with faith, you raise your head, you look confident, you look up.
When you walk with faith in your heart, you are not alone. God is there with you. And even when you walk through the storm in your life, you can hold you head up high. You will not be afraid of the dark because the light of Christ dispels the darkness. So walk with faith in your heart. And winning will be as easy as what has been born with you for with God all things are possible

Continue tomorrow...

FATHER IN JESUS NAME, EVERY SPIRIT OF FAILURE IN YOUR LIFE IS CAST OUT NOW IN JESUS NAME.
