CROWN OF REJOICING

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: CROWN OF REJOICING

This is the Soul Winner's Crown - For Believer's who were Obeying Jesus' Great Commission (Matt 28:19-20)

1 Thessalonians 2:19 "For what is our hope, or joy, or CROWN OF REJOICING? Is it not even YOU in the presence of our Lord Jesus Christ at His Coming?"

Daniel 12:3 "Those who are wise will shine as bright as the sky, and those who LEAD MANY TO RIGHTEOUSNESS will shine like the stars forever."

Brethren, God is expecting you and me to fulfil the commandment of "Go ye" as much as you know that we are at the end of the world, the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ is imminent, we should get every means of evangelising soul to the kingdom. Knowing fully well that, there is a reward for us in the kingdom.

LET US PRAY
YOU WILL NOT BE CONDEMNED OF THE BLOOD OF YOUR NEIGHBOR, AND MAY GOD COUNT US WORTHY OF HIS KINGDOM IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

What Is the Kingdom of God?

Is the Kingdom of God real? Where is it going to be established? When will it come? How can we prepare for it?

What is the Kingdom of God? It is the central theme of Jesus’ teaching and the foundational message of the Church founded by Him through His disciples. As Mark explains in his Gospel account, “Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came to Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, ‘The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand. Repent, and believe in the gospel.’”

The gospel of the Kingdom of God
Matthew and Luke likewise record that Jesus’ message was the “gospel” or “glad tidings” of the Kingdom (Matthew 4:23; Luke 8:1). Even though Matthew referred to it as “the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 4:17; Matthew 5:3, 10, 19-20) and Paul once called it “the kingdom of Christ and God” (Ephesians 5:5), the predominant name in Scripture is “the kingdom of God.”

Jesus consistently taught this same message of hope—“gospel” means good news—of the Kingdom throughout His ministry. His parables—stories with spiritual lessons—often dealt with this Kingdom, which God the Father and His Son had prepared prior to the existence of man at “the foundation of the world’” (Matthew 25:34). In the Kingdom parables, Jesus explained what we must do to enter the Kingdom and what conditions will be like in it. Many of the Old Testament prophets had written of this Kingdom while under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Peter 1:20-21).

After training His 12 disciples, Jesus sent them out “to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick” (Luke 9:2). After His crucifixion and resurrection, Jesus appeared before His disciples and continued “speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God” (Acts 1:3).

Later, Paul likewise described his ministry as preaching “the kingdom of God” (Acts 14:22; Acts 19:8; Acts 20:25; Acts 28:31; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Corinthians 15:24) and referred to his fellow ministers as “workers for the kingdom of God” (Colossians 4:11).

A literal or a figurative kingdom?
What is the Kingdom of God—a literal or a figurative kingdom? While it is generally understood that the message Jesus preached was that of the Kingdom of God, the question as to whether this Kingdom is literal or figurative is more complicated. Since Jesus came preaching that the Kingdom was “at hand” (Mark 1:15), some think it is literally here on earth via the Church or figuratively in our hearts. Others, recognizing that “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God” (1 Corinthians 15:50), say it is not yet here.

“And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44). The Kingdom of God will thus replace the governments of this earth.Acknowledging the difficulty in understanding this part of His message, Jesus termed it a “mystery.” Speaking to His disciples, Jesus said, “To you it has been given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God; but to those who are outside, all things come in parables, so that ‘Seeing they may see and not perceive, and hearing they may hear and not understand; lest they should turn, and their sins be forgiven them’” (Mark 4:11-12).

So what did the disciples understand? What did Jesus and the prophets foretell? A careful study of the Scriptures provides clarity.

The Kingdom of God is a literal kingdom. God gave King Nebuchadnezzar a dream of an image of a man with a head of gold, its chest and arms of silver, its belly and thighs of bronze, its legs of iron and its feet partly of iron and partly of clay. God revealed the meaning of the dream through Daniel, showing that there would be four world-ruling empires (Daniel 2:31-43). History has shown these to be the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greco-Macedonian and Roman empires.
Concluding this explanation, Daniel wrote: “And in the days of these kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed; and the kingdom shall not be left to other people; it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand forever” (verse 44). The Kingdom of God will thus replace the governments of this earth.
The Kingdom of God will be established on earth when Jesus returns. The time that the Kingdom is established will be after Christ’s return to earth. Revelation 11:15 states: “Then the seventh angel sounded: And there were loud voices in heaven, saying, ‘The kingdoms of this world have become the kingdoms of our Lord and of His Christ, and He shall reign forever and ever!’” Jesus told His disciples that when the Kingdom was established, they would “sit on twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel” (Matthew 19:28, also compare Luke 22:30).
We prepare for the Kingdom by living according to the rules of the Kingdom now. Explaining how one might enter the Kingdom of God, Jesus told Nicodemus that one must be “born again” (John 3:1-8). This process begins with baptism, which signifies the death of the former sinful man and the beginning of a new life dedicated to Christ (Romans 6:1-5). It culminates in a change from mortal flesh and blood to immortal spirit at Christ’s return (1 Corinthians 15:50-53; 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17).
Once we embark on this process, we are symbolically “conveyed” into the Kingdom (Colossians 1:13) and our “citizenship” is now described as being in heaven (Philippians 3:20). At the completion of the process of being born again, we will be changed into immortal beings and become kings and priests serving in God’s Kingdom on earth (Revelation 1:6; Revelation 5:10). For a more in-depth explanation, see our article “What Does It Mean to Be Born Again?”

Now that you know what the Kingdom of God is, you need to understand how to follow Jesus’ command to seek this Kingdom and His righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Your task is to learn what God’s laws are and then to begin living in accordance with the rules of that Kingdom.

Be sure to read “‘The Kingdom of God Is Within You’—What Did Christ Mean?” and “Seek Ye First the Kingdom of God.”

INCORRUPTIBLE CROWN

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: INCORRUPTIBLE CROWN

This is the Victor's Crown - for those who Disciplined their Bodies, and brought their Bodies unto Subjection— and had Self-Control.

1 Corinthians 9:25-27 "Everyone who Competes for the Prize is temperate (DISCIPLINED) in ALL THINGS. Now they do it to obtain a Perishable CROWN, but we for an IMPERISHABLE (INCORRUPTIBLE) CROWN. Therefore I run thus: not with uncertainty. Thus I fight: not as one who beats the air. But I DISCIPLINE MY BODY AND BRING IT UNTO SUBJECTION, lest, when I have preached to others, I myself should become disqualified."

A lots of Christian can no longer discipline themselves today on various things of life, many has lost their self control to sex, drunkenness, money, pornography, fight, gossip, backbiting, covetousness, malice, and many worldly habit, which are too much of and too deep in.
We should know that when we discipline ourself on all of this we will receive the crown.

YOU ARE WARNED BEFORE THE WRATH OF GOD.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: YOU ARE WARNED BEFORE THE WRATH OF GOD.

Paul labored to show this truth in the first part of this letter to the Romans. Let me remind you of how he said it: “The wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth” (Romans 1:18). Wrath does not come without warrant. It is deserved. The truth of God is known (Romans 1:19–20). And the truth is suppressed. And the fruit is ungodliness and unrighteousness. And on that comes wrath (Ephesians 5:6; Colossians 3:6).

He says it even more explicitly in Romans 2:5: “Because of your hard and impenitent heart you are storing up wrath for yourself on the day of wrath when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.” We are responsible. We are storing up wrath with every act of indifference to Christ. With every preference for anything over God. With every quiver of our affection for sin and every second of our dull affections for God.

Then he says it once more in Romans 3:5–6: “If our unrighteousness serves to show the righteousness of God, what shall we say? That God is unrighteous to inflict wrath on us? (I speak in a human way.) By no means! For then how could God judge the world?” Nothing was clearer for the inspired apostle than that God is just and God will judge the world in terrible wrath.

And lest you think that your sins do not deserve this kind of wrath, ponder these four things:

1. It was one sin alone that brought the entire world under the judgment of God and brought death upon all people (Genesis 2:17; Romans 5:12). And you have not committed one sin, but tens of thousands of sins.

2. Consider James 2:10: “For whoever keeps the whole law but fails in one point has become accountable for all of it.” Not only have you sinned tens of thousands of times, but each one had in it the breaking of the entire law of God.

3. Consider Galatians 3:10: “For all who rely on works of the law are under a curse; for it is written, ‘Cursed be everyone who does not abide by all things written in the Book of the Law, and do them.’” The wrath of God’s curse falls on us for not obeying all that is commanded. One failure and the curse falls.

4. Consider that any offense and any dishonor to an infinitely honorable and infinitely worthy God is an infinite offense and an infinite dishonor. Therefore, an infinite punishment is deserved.

LET US PRAY
IN JESUS NAME, YOU WILL NOT DIE INTO YOUR SIN, SALVATION AND GRACE IS YOUR POTION IN JESUS NAME.

The Final Wrath of God on Unbeliever

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: The Final Wrath of God on Unbeliever

The final wrath of God will be terrible — indescribable pain.

Jesus says in Matthew 13:41–42, “The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law-breakers, and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (see verse 49). Then he adds at least three more terrible images of God’s wrath besides fire:

He pictures it as a master returning and finding his servant disobeying his commands, and he “will cut him in pieces and put him with the hypocrites. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 24:51). The wrath of God is like cutting someone in pieces.

Then he pictures it as darkness: “The sons of the kingdom will be thrown into the outer darkness. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth” (Matthew 8:12). The wrath of God is like being totally blind forever.

Finally he quotes Isaiah 66:24 and says, “Their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched” (Mark 9:48). In Isaiah 66:24 God says, “And they shall go out and look on the dead bodies of the men who have rebelled against me. For their worm shall not die, their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be an abhorrence to all flesh.”

In Revelation 6:15–16, the apostle John adds that the wrath of God — indeed the wrath of Jesus himself — will be so terrible that every class of human beings will cry out for rocks to crush them rather than face the wrath:

Then the kings of the earth and the great ones and the generals and the rich and the powerful, and everyone, slave and free, hid themselves in the caves and among the rocks of the mountains, calling to the mountains and rocks, “Fall on us and hide us from the face of him who is seated on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb.”
The last picture of horror that I will mention is the final one of the Bible; namely, the lake of fire. It is called the “second death” in Revelation 20:14:

“Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.” Revelation 2:11 says that those who conquer — that is, believers in Jesus — “will not be hurt by the second death,” implying that those who do not believe will be.

John 3:17-18 KJV
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

IN JESUS NAME YOU AND ME WILL NOT END IT IN HELL FIRE.

THE FINAL WRATH OF GOD IS ETERNAL — having no end.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE FINAL WRATH OF GOD IS ETERNAL — having no end.

In Daniel 12:2, God promises that the day is coming when “many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.”

Jesus spoke of the eternity of God’s wrath in numerous ways. Consider three. In Mark 9:43–48, he said,

And if your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than with two hands to go to hell, to the unquenchable fire. And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life lame than with two feet to be thrown into hell. And if your eye causes you to sin, tear it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than with two eyes to be thrown into hell, where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.

So twice he calls the fires of hell “unquenchable”; that is, they will never go out. The point of that is to say soberly and terribly that if you go there, there will be no relief forever and ever.

Secondly, in Mark 3:29 Jesus says, “Whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit never has forgiveness, but is guilty of an eternal sin.” This is a startling statement. It rules out all those thoughts of universalism that say, “Even if there is a hell, one day it will be emptied after people have suffered long enough.”

No. That is not what Jesus said. He said that there is sin for which there will never be forgiveness.

Thirdly, in Matthew 25 he told the parable of the sheep and the goats to illustrate the way it will be when Jesus comes back to save his people and punish the unbelievers. In verse 41 he says, “Then [the king] will say to those on his left, ‘Depart from me, you cursed, into the eternal fire prepared for the devil and his angels.’”

And to make crystal clear that eternal means everlasting he says again in verse 46, “These will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life.” So the punishment is eternal in the same way that life is eternal. Both mean: never-ending. Everlasting.

This morning don't ever do anything that will causes God's wrath upon you. Serve God faithfully and be holy to enter into Gods kingdom than ending in Hell.

LET US PRAY
MAY YOU NEVER SEE THE WRATH OF GOD AND YOU WILL NOT END IT IN HELL IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

God's Wrath in His Vengeance

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God's Wrath in His Vengeance

Paul says in verse 19, “Leave it to the wrath of God.” Then the wrath of God is defined further as God’s vengeance, “Vengeance is mine.” So wrath is connected with God’s response to something that deserves vengeance. And then it says, “I will repay.” So God’s wrath is treated as a repayment to man for something man has done.

Taking this verse alone with its pieces, we could venture a definition of the wrath of God like this:
The wrath of God is God’s settled anger toward sin expressed in the repayment of suitable vengeance on the guilty sinner.

What shall we say then about this wrath? Perhaps in the limits of one message
If we focus on the wrath of God that falls on human beings at the final judgment, we can say at least these four things about it:

1) It will be eternal — having no end.

2) It will be terrible — indescribable pain.

3) It will be deserved — totally just and right.

4) It will have been escapable — through the curse-bearing death of Christ, if we would have taken refuge in him.

GOD WILL AVENGE YOU OF ALL THE ENEMY HAS DONE TO YOU IN JESUS NAME.

DON'T TAKE LAW INTO YOUR HANDS

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: DON'T TAKE LAW INTO YOUR HANDS

Romans 12:19–21

THE WRATH OF GOD
Beloved, never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.” To the contrary, “if your enemy is hungry, feed him; if he is thirsty, give him something to drink; for by so doing you will heap burning coals on his head.” Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.
Here we have in verse 19 the phrase, “wrath of God.” “Never avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God, for it is written, ‘Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.’”

Since God is going to take up your cause and see to it that justice is done, you can lay it down.
You don’t have to carry anger and bitterness and resentment and revenge. Indeed, you dare not. Jesus warned that an unforgiving heart will destroy you in the end (Matthew 6:15; 18:35).

LET US PRAY
TODAY GOD WILL FIGHT FOR YOU IN JESUS NAME AND YOU WILL HOLD YOUR PEACE.

GOD WORKS THROUGH PRAYER.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD WORKS THROUGH PRAYER.

There Is No Prayer That God Cannot Answer
God delights in answering our prayers.

Deu 4:7 "For what nation is there so great, who hath God so nigh unto them, as the LORD our God is in all things that we call upon him for?"

Psa 34:15 "The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry."

Listen He may not answer our prayer just the way we want it answered, but He will answer it.
Let me show you something about prayer.

POINTLESS PRAYERS:

1. We cannot pray, "Lord, send revival", and then fail to do everything we can to personally draw closer to Him.

2. We cannot pray, "Lord, save souls", and then refuse to witness to the lost.

3. There is no need to pray for more missionaries if we are not willing to be used of God.

There is no prayer that God cannot answer.
He can answer your prayers too.
God can do anything. What do we need this morning? Is anything too hard for the Lord? No. If you are without Christ today, come and receive Him as Lord and Savior. If you are in the midst of a hard situation, submit yourself to Him today and He will see you through. If you wonder about prayer, realize that God wants to answer your prayer today.

GOD THE PERFECT CORRECTOR.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD THE PERFECT CORRECTOR.

There Is No Hardship That God Cannot Correct
Luke 1:37 "For with God nothing shall be impossible."

Often times God may allow certain hardships to come our way.
1. He may do this to shake us out of our lethargy and indifference.
2. He may do this to strengthen us for future battles.
3. He may use it to work in the life of others. But be assured about the the Salvation of God.

Nothing can get to us without God knowing it. Personal illness or sickness; family problems; difficulties on the job; all of these and many more. God is aware of what is happening to us.

From time to time I need to remind myself that God is omniscient…He knows what is going on! And, He is still in control!
I want you to remind yourself this morning again,
Whatever you are passing through, God is involve and he will see you through, he is a perfect corrector.

God can do it

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD CAN DO IT

Genesis 18:1-16
Jer 32:17 "Ah Lord GOD! behold, thou hast made the heaven and the earth by thy great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for thee:"
God came to Abraham when he was hundred years old and told him that He would give he and Sarah a son. Isaac was born to them when Sarah was ninety years old. God presented Abraham with the question in v14, "Is anything too hard for the Lord?" The answer: No, God can do anything!

There is no way to measure the number of problems, difficulties, heartaches, and hardships that exist today, but I assure you that there is nothing that is too hard for the Lord.

I. THERE IS NO PERSON THAT GOD CANNOT SAVE.

(1 Tim 1:15) "This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief."

A. Paul's personal testimony.
1. He said the world's most wicked person has already been saved.
2. If God has already saved the "Chief of sinners", then anyone can be saved.
3. There is no soul too hard for God to save.
4. Don't give up, just keep on praying and trusting God to save them.

B. WHAT ABOUT YOU?
1. The devil wants you to believe that it cannot be done.
2. He wants us to stay enslaved to sin.
3. God wants to set us free!
4. Peter tells us that God is not willing that any should perish.
5. Look at the thief on the cross.
a. The only thing that made him different from the other thief.
b. He placed his faith in Jesus Christ.
c. That is what makes the difference in anyone's life.

C. IS ANYTHING TOO HARD FOR THE LORD?
1. Are there any people that the Lord cannot save?
2. No, nothing is too hard for the Lord.
3. He can change your life.
4. He can save that one that you have been praying for.
5. There is no soul too hard for God

God is Able

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD IS ABLE

There has been a thief who has stolen by deception from us the original state God held from man. Jesus talks about him.

John 10:10

"The thief cometh not, but for to steal and to kill, and to destroy. I am come that they might have life and that they might have it more abundantly."

Stolen from us is the ideal God had.
Instead, we have wound up with:

-hatred
-strife
-bitterness
-jealousy
-perversion
-sickness
-disease

Galatians 4:22 pictures for us the restored state God wants for us. Paul paints in the "Fruit of the Spirit"

"love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness, self-control"

This is what the enemy has ravaged and stolen from us.
The Psalmist says:

"He restores my soul."

God wants you to put the brokenness, the hurt, the pain and the anguish of your life in His hands for restoration.
The Psalmist says:

"He restoreth my soul."

I. Believe
Matthew 19:26 says:
"With men this is impossible; but with God all things
are possible."

Jesus had come from the mount of transfiguration that child was laying on the ground foaming at the mouth. He was having a seizure.

Mark 9:23
"If you could believe all things are possible to him that believeth."

And He healed the child.

God has the Credentials to take your brokenness.

He is able

-the boy with the seizures
-woman who had given up on life
I Kings 17: Elijah her life and the oil to her

-He is able to deliver from the oppression of the Midianites, Gideon, Judges 8

THE PRINCIPLE OF RESTORATION

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE PRINCIPLE OF RESTORATION

THE PRINCIPLE OF RESTORATION IS CLEAR. IT MEANS YOU HAVE TO RETURN BACK IN FOLDS WHATEVER YOU HAVE FORCEFULLY TAKEN.

1. Leviticus 6:4-5 "Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found, Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering."

2. Exodus 22:4 "If the theft be certainly found in his hand alive, whether it be ox, or ass, or sheep; he shall restore double."

3. II Samuel 12:6 "And he shall restore the lamb fourfold, because he did this thing, and because he had no pity."

4. Luke 19:8 "And Zacchaeus stood, and said unto the Lord; Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold."

5. Proverbs 6:31 "But if he be found, he shall restore sevenfold; he shall give all the substance of his house.

CONCLUSION
II Samuel 9:7 And David said unto him, Fear not: for I will surely shew thee kindness for Jonathan thy father's sake, and will restore thee all the land of Saul thy father; and thou shalt eat bread at my table continually.

WHO DO YOU RUN TO FOR HELP?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHO DO YOU RUN TO FOR HELP?

Psalms 121:1-8

We call on God to help us. The Bible shows us many examples.

• When Moses was facing the Red Sea, He did not call for his people to help. They were helpless. He called for God’s help.

• When David faced Goliath, he did not call on his brothers. They were afraid and hiding. He called on the Lord. He trusted God.

• When Daniel was about to be thrown into the lion’s den, no one was around to help him. He called out to God in prayer. God shuts the mouths of the lions.

God did what no man can do.

The God we trust watches over us. He is ABLE to help us.

Psalm 121:2-3 My help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.

3 He will not let your foot slip.

• See the contrast here – God has the power to make the universe, and that same power is available to help you walk strong!

• Sometimes, the path we take is difficult and hard. We have to look up to Him. He is there to strengthen protect us.

• Missionary Hudson Taylor had complete trust in God’s faithfulness. In his journal he wrote: "Our heavenly Father is a very experienced One… He sustained 3 million Israelites in the wilderness for 40 years. If God has bring you into it he will see your through it all.

Verse 3b: He who watches over you will not slumber!

• ’watches over’ mentioned 6 times in this psalm. He is always with you. Psalmist emphasizes the fact that God is with His people - when they start the journey from their home, on the road, and when they reach Jerusalem.

GOD IS THE ONE WHO PROTECTS

An executive was getting ready for a month-long business trip. He prayed with his wife before departing: “Lord, please protect Sharon and the children while I’m gone.”

His wife looked up at him when he finished and said, “Who do you think protects us while you’re here?”

Actually, whether you are here nor not, God is the One protecting us.

MAN’S HELP IS LIMITED

A blind man with a white cane stood at a busy intersection one day waiting for someone to help lead him across the street. It wasn’t long before another many appeared and the two began to talk.

The second man took the first man’s arm and the two of them began walking across the street. Suddenly, there was the sound of tapping as the men walked across the street, but the tapping was more than usual.

They then realized that both of them are blind!

121:7-8 The LORD will keep you from all harm - he will watch over your life; the LORD will watch over your coming and going both now and forevermore.

• God protects us from ‘EVIL’

• Jesus taught us to pray, “And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil.” (Matt 6:13

So when we encounter a problem and we are hurt, it is not because God has deserted us or that He is sleeping and not knowing our problem. Man suffers today because:

(1) We have deserted Him; we did not rely on God – the Source of help.

• We rely upon ourselves. We did not ask God for help.

• James 4:2 says we do not have because we do not ask God.

• I heard of people who said they don’t want to ‘trouble’ God, who ‘has enough to do’. God isn’t too busy for us—we’re often too busy for Him.

(2) We do wrong. We sin. Our mistakes bring us suffering.

God knows all about life. He knows what you need.

• God says man has sinned and in need of salvation. We need Jesus to settle our sin problem. He came and died on the cross for our sin.

• This may not be something many likes to hear, but it’s the truth.

• Man needs God’s help. We need God to save us from our sin.

There are times when we do the right things and yet faces problem.

• It is not because God has forgotten you. He is watching over you, even in the midst of the difficulties.

• He has a purpose. We don’t understand. God wants us to go through it with His strength.

The promise here is one of preservation in the midst of hard times, not protection from hard times.

• In your life, you will face storms. God did not promise that as Christians, we will not face any storms ever.

• But in the storms, God will protect us and keep us safe through them.

“All the water in the world cannot sink a ship unless it gets inside.”

• If we keep our trust in God, our life will not sink. We can be strong.

• But if we allow the world to get into our heart – sin, evil, hardship – we sink.

LET US PRAY
BEFORE YOU CALL, GOD WILL ANSWER YOU IN JESUS NAME

DO YOU NEED HELP?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: DO YOU NEED HELP?

Psalms 121:1-8

We all need help in life. We all need God’s help in life.

• Not everyone knows they needed help, like those who are sick but not knowing it.

• They need the doctor to do some tests and tell them what is wrong with them.

• But there are also those who do not want help. They feel that they are alright or they can help themselves.

AVOIDING THE DENTIST

Like a little boy who was asked to see a dentist. He opened the door to the dentist’s office and spoke to the receptionist at her desk. “My mother told me to see the dentist about my bad teeth.”

“Sorry, sorry,” the receptionist responded, “But the dentist is out just now.”

The boy sighed in relief and asked hopefully, “When will he be out again?”

Sometimes we just don’t want the help we most need, because we fear to confront the truth. We want to do what we like.

But the truth is we all need help.

• If you step into a store, you’ll hear this, “Can I help you?” The salesperson knows the store very well and what they are selling.

• Today, if God asks you this question, will you say YES?

The psalmist wrote this song reminding the people that God is our help.

• It is a song of ascent - sing while walking to Jerusalem for festivals.

• In this journey, just as in our life journey, we need God’s help and protection.

Our help comes from the MAKER of heaven and earth.

• Today many worship the heaven and earth – they worship the sun, the moon, and the stars. They worship the creation – the snake, the cow, the tree. Or they worship the works of human hands.

• Why do we want to put our trust these created things and not the Creator?

Listen to what the Lord said to prophet Isaiah – 40:25-26

25 "To whom will you compare me? Or who is my equal?" says the Holy One.

26 Lift your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these?

He who brings out the starry host one by one, and calls them each by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Scientists say there are 7000 stars visible to the naked eye. We can only see 3000 of them at any one place on earth.

• The galaxy earth is in has more than 100 billion stars.

• Suppose these stars were divided up among the world’s total population of 6.9 billion people. Then each person on Earth would receive more than 1 trillion stars!

• There are around 100 billion such galaxies are known to exist.

Stars are actually huge. The smallest star is 5 times the size of earth.

• The biggest is 6500 times bigger. So if one star fells on earth, it will smash the earth.

Think about it. God makes the heaven and the earth.

• What ‘big’ problem are we facing today that is too hard for Him?

We want to worship and trust the Maker of heaven and earth.

• The One who can help us must be greater than us, stronger and wiser.

• We need to cry out to God because He is the SOURCE of our help.

The psalmist says in verse 3: He will not let our foot slip!

• They journey is difficult and they have to walk many days.

121:3b-6 He who watches over you will not slumber;

4 indeed, he who watches over Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

LET US PRAY
Today, God who made the Heavens and the Earth will Help you in Jesus Name.

Chosen For favour

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Chosen For favour

Luke 1:26-55

Of all the women of Judah, Mary was chosen by God to become the mother of the Messiah, the King and Redeemer of Israel.

Gabriel said she was selected because she had “found favor with God.” What was it about Mary that caught the Lord’s attention. What qualities did she possess which “found favor with God?”

I can’t speak for God on that point but I do notice from this passage some noteworthy traits Mary possessed that impress me. I want to briefly point-out six traits that belonged to Mary...and most of them should be our traits, too.

1. She was a person with faith.
2. She willingly surrendered her life to God’s will.
3. She possessed reverence and adoration for God.
4. She knew the Scriptures.
5. She possessed great Intelligence and Insight.
6. She recognized her own need for salvation.

This morning, I want you to know that God is expecting this from you and me also, then great thing will spring up from us that the world will see and glorify God Almighty.

LET US PRAY
In Jesus Name, you are selected for favour and great and mighty things will spring up in you in Jesus Name. Amen

The Day Satan Lose

Toipc: The Day Satan Lose

Job 1:1 KJV
There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

Satan is not a lion, Jesus is the real lion, Revelation 5:5.
He is the lion of the tribe of Judah, but sometimes Satan do roar and try to imitate the real lion, but he is not. He is a defeated and toothless dog whom the Lord Jesus has conquered. Hallelujah

He goes about roaring like a lion, he is just doing that to scared babies in faith, but am telling you this morning that Satan is a defeated enemy that is why he fell from his post. Isaiah 14:12 KJV
How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

He doesn't have home, he always goes about looking for whom to devour and who to scared.
1 Peter 5:8 KJV
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

He try the life of job and couldn't enter until God gave him chance. He took away all that job has, farm, houses, children, animals and his wealth, but at the end he failed...Hallelujah

Satan name was only heard at the beginning and throughout the end of job's Story Satan hide his ugly face, he was defeated, he ran away out of jobs life shamelessly.

He was defeated, he lose the bet that day, because job know the Lord. Because he was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.
Today if you too know your Lord you will defeat the devil, all God want is for you to do as job did and Satan will lose in your life too as well,

Satan was defeated at the birth of Jesus when he use Herod to kill many children because he wanted to kill Jesus. He got the shame of his life at Golgotha. When Jesus says the will of God be done.
Satan lose it finally at the Cross when Jesus declared it is Finish Hallelujah.

LET US PRAY
Today will be the day Satan will lose in your life too in Jesus Name

How Will Jesus Return?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: How Will Jesus Return?

The Bible speaks of the Lord returning visibly with great power and glory.

Five hundred years prior to Christ, the prophet Zechariah wrote of the Lord coming to Jerusalem during a time of intense war. Jerusalem will be surrounded by armies from “all nations.” The battle will be bloody and fierce, and the armies of Israel will be overwhelmed by its enemies. Then, something dramatic will change everything.

Suddenly, when all hope seems gone, the Jews will gaze up in the sky and see their mighty Lord himself coming in the clouds. We are told that “every eye will see him, even those who pierced him.”[Luke 21:28] The Lord speaks through the prophet, telling us how he will be recognized when he returns:

“They will look on me whom they have pierced and mourn for him as for an only son. They will grieve bitterly for him as for a firstborn son who has died.”[29]

It is important to understand that this prophecy of the Messiah’s return to Jerusalem was written five hundred years before Jesus was born. No other person in history has been pierced, died and returned to life. It will be an incredible, emotionally moving experience for all who see him.

In an instant, the Jews defending their city will realize that the Lord saving them is the very Jesus whom their ancestors had rejected. How will they recognize him? The same way the disciples recognized Jesus after his resurrection: by the nail prints in his hands. It is then that they will weep bitterly, and “mourn for him as for an only son.” It is then that they will realize his great love for them.

When Jesus returns, those who have already died “in Christ” will be the first to meet him in the air. Then those from every nation who are still alive and trust him as their Lord and Savior will meet him in the air. Bible scholars disagree on the timing of these amazing events; however, as Paul wrote, we should be watching and waiting for the “blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.”Titus 2:13.

Jesus’ promise to return will be fulfilled just as literally as were prophecies of his first coming. It will be in God’s time when all prophesied world events are finally in place. His return will be a time of joy and reward for believers, but a time of horrible judgment for unbelievers.

C. S. Lewis cited three propositions to remember about Jesus’ return:

He will certainly return
We cannot possibly find out when
Therefore we must always be ready for him
We have already established that Jesus promises to return, and that his words are believable. We have also seen that Jesus himself said that we cannot know exactly when he will return. SO PREPARE EVERY MINUTE.

LET US PRAY
In Jesus Name, receive Grace to be faithful and righteous as you wait for the lords return in Jesus name.
