WE HAVE CLEANSED CONSCIENCES THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WE HAVE CLEANSED CONSCIENCES THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

Through the blood of Christ, Christians receive the cleansing of their consciences.

Hebrews 9:14 says, “…how much more will the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without blemish to God, purify our conscience from dead works to serve the living God.”

This is an amazing promise! Christ cleansing our consciences from acts that lead to death! How does He do it?
By the blood of Christ, because on the cross He offered Himself unblemished to God! He offered Himself—His unblemished, perfect life—as a sacrifice to God for us on account of our sins. Therefore, He alone is able to cleanse our consciences through His blood.

Even though all of our minds have been corrupted by sin and seared as with a hot iron (1 Timothy 4:2), Christ can cleanse our consciences. We are able to live right lives and think right thoughts once again in Christ. This is great news for those who are burdened by a sinful past and corrupted consciences.

Brethren this morning you have access to Jesus and through his blood our dirty mind is cleaned. You too can invite Jesus to you life this morning to clean you of your dirty past that is disturbing your mind.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, CLEAN EVERY DIRTINESS OF OUR PAST THAT STILL HAVE HOLD ON US IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

WE RECEIVE FORGIVENESS THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WE RECEIVE FORGIVENESS THROUGH THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

Forgiveness of sin
In addition to being able to enter into God’s presence through the blood of Christ, we are also forgiven of our sins.

Ephesians 1:7 says that, “In Him we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of His grace.” Because of Christ’s shed blood, God is able to forgive us for our sins and give the punishment that we deserved to Christ.

Christ had a special way of explaining this to his disciples during the Last Supper, which also was the Passover meal celebration.

He said, “For this is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins” (Matthew 26:28). He was telling His disciples that just as the blood of the lamb delivered the Hebrews from the night of terrors in Egypt, so Christ’s own blood would deliver the people who were covered by it from the judgment of God on the last day.

This truth is expressed beautifully in the hymn, “Nothing But the Blood”

What can wash away my sin?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus;

What can make me whole again?

Nothing but the blood of Jesus.

Oh! Precious is the flow

That makes me white as snow;

No other fount I know,

Nothing but the blood of Jesus…
Take joy, Christian, that Christ has cleansed you from your sin with his blood!

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, LET US BLOOD WASH AWAY EVERY STAIN OF SIN IN OUR LIFE IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST.

We gain bold access to God in worship and prayer
The Bible is clear that every person is alienated and separated from God because of our sin (Colossians 1:21). That means even the best of us are actually unable to approach God to offer worship or prayer. Because of our sins, we remain at a distance from Him.

But the Bible tells Christians to come boldly into God’s presence, “We have confidence to enter the holy places by the blood of Jesus” (Hebrews 10:19). If you are a Christian today, you can have boldness and confidence as you approach God with your prayers and your worship, because you are no longer far away from God, “Now in Christ Jesus you who once were far off have been made near by the blood of Christ” (Ephesians 2:13).

It is because of the blood of Jesus Christ that we have the great privilege of pouring our hearts out to God (Psalm 62:8) casting our cares on Him (1 Peter 5:7) and praying any time and any place in the power of the Spirit (Ephesians 6:18).
Does your prayer life reflect the kind of relationship you have with God through the blood of His Son?

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, LET YOUR BLOOD SPEAK FOR US AND LET YOUR BLOOD WASH US CLEAN IN JESUS NAME AMEN.

THE SECOND DEATH VERSES SPIRITUAL DEATH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE SECOND DEATH VERSES SPIRITUAL DEATH

Please understand that spiritual death is not the same as the second death.
Every man is born spiritually dead. We are already spiritually dead by birth.

In contrast, the second death is being cast into the Lake of Fire forever.
The first death is separation of our soul and spirit from our earthly body.
The second death is separation of our body, soul and spirit from God for all eternity.
Matthew 10:28, “And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.”

Revelation 21:8, “But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.”

My friend, please don't go to Hell. You don't have to die a second death.
Because of sin we must all die a physical death (Romans 6:23), but Jesus shed His blood and paid the price for our sins so we wouldn't have to die a second death. Revelation 21:8 defines the second death as spending eternity being tormented in a lake of brimstone and fire. Is that what you want? The choice is yours.

Jesus said in John 3:5 to Nicodemus (a Jewish leader), “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.” Being born again is not optional. Whether Jew or Gentile, everyone must be born again.

If you've never been born-again, you are missing out on a whole new world of spiritual understanding

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, SAVE OUR SOUL FROM HELL AND MAKE US REIGN WITH YOU IN HEAVENLY KINGDOM.

HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN BIBLICALLY

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: HOW TO BE BORN AGAIN BIBLICALLY

The way we become “born again” is found in the Word of God...

“Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever.” —1st Peter 1:23

We are born again by the Word of God. Jesus is the Word of God (John 1:1,14: Revelation 19:13). The following statement sums it up well....

If you're born once, then you die TWICE;
If you're born twice, then you die ONCE.

If you don't receive Jesus Christ and become a born again Christian, then you will sadly burn in hellfire for all eternity (John 3:18,36; Revelation 20:15; 21:8).

Again, being born-again means having He Who is the Beginning (Jesus Christ) born in you.” Revelation 1:8, “I am Alpha and Omega, the Beginning and the Ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.”
Isn't that beautiful.

When a person is born-again, the Spirit of Christ comes to live in that person's body.
“Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His” (Romans 8:9b). This birth comes about only through faith in the Son of God.

God came down to this earth 2,000 years ago and took upon Himself the form of a man. That man was the Lord Jesus Christ (John 1:1,14; 1st Timothy 3:16). Literally, the GODHEAD became incarnate (Colossians 2:9—King James Bible).
Jesus was born of a virgin (Isaiah 7:14).
Jesus never sinned even once (2nd Corinthians 5:21; Hebrews 4:15). Jesus died, was buried and rose again after three days (1st Corinthians 15:1-4).
Jesus shed His precious blood to pay for all our sins (Colossians 1:14; 1st Peter 1:18,19), and applied that blood to the Mercyseat in Heaven (Hebrews 9:12, 24-26).

My friend, if you believe that Jesus is the Christ, the only begotten Son of God Who died, was buried and rose again for your sins, and you've made that your hope for Heaven by believing on His name, then you are a born-again child of God.

Jesus is the Savior Who paid for our sins. If you realize that you're a guilty sinner, then you simply need to believe on the Gospel of Jesus Christ to have your sins forgiven. Believe that Christ died and was resurrected, shedding His precious blood to wash away your sins. All God the Father asks is that we come for salvation by way of the cross upon which His Son Jesus Christ died.

LET US PRAY
FATHER I GIVE MY LIFE TO YOU, SAFE ME AND FORGIVE MY SINS MAKE ME YOUR CHILD AND DON'T LET ME END MY LIFE IN HELL IN JESUS NAME

HOW DO YOU PRAY?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: HOW DO YOU PRAY?

James 4:1-3 KJV
From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members? [2] Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not. [3] Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.

Praise God for the opportunity we have to pray, prayer has always been one big way of communicating God and tender our heart desire to him. And it's very interesting too that it's the desire and commandment of God that we pray to him. But since prayer has been a way to pour our heart to God. Many has been disappointed about this and even tired of praying. Because as they pray it's seems nothing is forthcoming.

Let me show you some point why God won't answer our prayer. Isaiah 59:1 KJV
Behold, the Lord's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

According to our Bible vers today the first reason why God will not answer is lost follow by other.

LUST
1. A feeling of strong desire, especially such a feeling driven by sexual arousal.
A general want or longing, not necessarily sexual.
The Bible says by this we can't receive what we wanted. If we lusted in our heart.

2. The second is KILLING.
This sounded so horrible. Yes but that is how many people try to get what they want. They kill innocent people to get their post. Cain kill Able in the book of Genesis. many people does that today. Your prayer won't be answer by killing either animal or your fellow human. Psalm 51:17 KJV
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
Psalm 51:16 KJV
For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it : thou delightest not in burnt offering.
Don't be deceive by fake prophet. If you keep on sacrificing. God will not answer. Jesus is our sacrifice. Hallelujah

3. FIGHTING and WAR
The Bible says this also will not make our prayer answer. many wife's fight their husband. Wife. Pastor. Neighbours, lecturer. Siblings etc. Many Christian are in serious fight against their parents because a prophet told them their problem is from their parent. (Yes it may be) but fighting won't solve it.
Jeremiah 32:5b KJV
saith the Lord : though ye fight with the Chaldeans, ye shall not prosper.

4. Bible said Ye ASK NOT.
Can you imagine that? Many of us don't really ask God what we want and need. We only accuse him of things he didn't do and shout in prayer without specific request. When next you pray be specific. Make a list of what you want. God is our father he is never tired of us. No list is too big for him. Amen

5. This next point is really where many of us always missing it. ASKING AMISS....
The Bible says some of us really ask but we ask amiss... What is the meaning of this.... The Bible gave us an hint by saying all we ask is from a selfish heart. We are too selfish and our purpose is very wrong.
Brethren, have you ever ask yourself. What is my motive. My reason. My purpose for asking God this. Remember God look at your heart not your face.

LET US PRAY
FATHER TEACH US TO PRAY RIGHTLY AND ANSWER OUR GOOD HEART DESIRE IN JESUS NAME.

Salvation

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: SALVATION

"What is salvation? What is the Christian doctrine of salvation?"

Salvation is deliverance from danger or suffering. To save is to deliver or protect. The word carries the idea of victory, health, or preservation. Sometimes, the Bible uses the words saved or salvation to refer to temporal, physical deliverance, such as Paul’s deliverance from prison (Philippians 1:19).

More often, the word “salvation” concerns an eternal, spiritual deliverance. When Paul told the Philippian jailer what he must do to be saved, he was referring to the jailer’s eternal destiny (Acts 16:30-31). Jesus equated being saved with entering the kingdom of God (Matthew 19:24-25).

What are we saved from? In the Christian doctrine of salvation, we are saved from “wrath,” that is, from God’s judgment of sin (Romans 5:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:9). Our sin has separated us from God, and the consequence of sin is death (Romans 6:23). Biblical salvation refers to our deliverance from the consequence of sin and therefore involves the removal of sin.

Who does the saving? Only God can remove sin and deliver us from sin’s penalty (2 Timothy 1:9; Titus 3:5).

How does God save? In the Christian doctrine of salvation, God has rescued us through Christ (John 3:17). Specifically, it was Jesus’ death on the cross and subsequent resurrection that achieved our salvation (Romans 5:10; Ephesians 1:7). Scripture is clear that salvation is the gracious, undeserved gift of God (Ephesians 2:5, 8) and is only available through faith in Jesus Christ (Acts 4:12).

How do we receive salvation? We are saved by faith. First, we must hear the gospel—the good news of Jesus’ death and resurrection (Ephesians 1:13). Then, we must believe—fully trust the Lord Jesus (Romans 1:16). This involves repentance, a changing of mind about sin and Christ (Acts 3:19), and calling on the name of the Lord (Romans 10:9-10, 13).

A definition of the Christian doctrine of salvation would be “The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.” Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 14:6; Acts 4:12) and is dependent on God alone for provision, assurance, and security.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, SAVE OUR SOUL FROM ETERNAL JUDGEMENT IN JESUS NAME AND MAKE US REIGN WITH YOU.

FAITH Vs ANXIETY AND WORRY.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: FAITH Vs ANXIETY AND WORRY.

Anxiety and worry flourish anytime there is doubt and fear. The area of life most often consumed with doubt is the future. We just don’t know what tomorrow will bring and that lack of knowledge fills us with fear over the unknown.

Doubt cringes and cowers in fear over the disappointments, losses and troubles tomorrow may hold.

Faith, however, welcomes the future with grateful optimism.

Faith looks to the future with confidence because faith know who controls tomorrow, Rom. 8:28.

Faith knows the God Who plans tomorrow, Isa. 46:9-10.

Faith knows the God Who safely leads His people through today and through all the tomorrows of life, Psa. 37:23.

Why can faith be so hopeful when it looks ahead? Bible tells us that faith focuses its attention on the things that glorify God and on the things that lead the saints closer to God.

·Faith is thankful when it faces the future because faith does not concern itself with tomorrow. Faith contents itself to look into the face of God, knowing that while tomorrow might be filled with its share of pain and disappointment, faith knows Who He holds all the tomorrows of life in His hand.

·When your eyes are on the Lord, you can face the future with thanksgiving and you shall surely see what will always make you praise God.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, INCREASE OUR FAITH ABOVE ANXIETY AND WORRIES IN JESUS NAME.

REASON FOR THANKSGIVING

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: REASON FOR THANKSGIVING

When we take the time to stop and look at all the blessings we enjoy because of our relationship with the Lord, it is easy to see why we should be a thankful people. We need to stop and take a spiritual inventory of all the blessings we enjoy in the Lord.

Psalm 103.
David catalogues the blessings of the Lord and calls on the people of God to remember those blessings, v. 2, and to praise the Lord for those blessings, v. 1.

Those blessings include:

1. Forgiveness – v. 3, 8-12

2. Spiritual health – v. 3

3. Redemption – v. 4

4. Blessings – v. 4

5. Satisfaction – v. 5

6. Strength – v. 5

7. The Word of God – v. 7

8. God’s infinite mercy – v. 8, 17

9. Our family relationship with God – v. 13

10. His patience – v. 14

THINK OF ALL YOU HAVE IN HIM:

His love, His mercy and His grace
His salvation and forgiveness
The Word of God
The Church
The privilege of prayer, v. 6 – Ill Thanksgiving adds the element of expectation to the act of prayer. Thanksgiving allows faith to expect an answer to the prayers it offers.

Now, stop to think of how the Lord has blessed you:

Financially
Physically
Spiritually
With family and friends
With a home in Heaven
By answering prayer, moving mountains, meeting needs, comforting your heart, offering unconditional love and forgiveness.

When we take the time to look around at all the blessings we enjoy as God’s children, it is easy to see that we have ample reason for thanksgiving! This week take time to say thank you Lord always.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS TEACH US TO PRAISE YOU WITH ALL WE HAVE AND LET US ALWAYS HAVE GOOD REASON TO THANK YOU IN JESUS NAME.

DO YOU NEED PEACE?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: DO YOU NEED PEACE?

Philippians 4:6-7

There are three basic types of peace mentioned in the Bible.

1. The peace of God that comes with salvation, Rom. 5:1.

2. The peace of God that come through total surrender to God in all things, Phil. 4:6-7; John 14:1, 27.

3. The peace on earth that will come when Jesus Christ comes back to reign in glory and power, Isa. 2:1-4.

The passage before us today deals with the peace of God that comes with total surrender to God in all things.

1. It is the peace of God in the times of trouble.

2. It is the peace of God that overwhelms our worries and that helps us to rest in the will of God even when we cannot see what lies ahead.

The key to having this kind of peace lies in possessing a thankful heart.
Thanksgiving is an important theme throughout the Bible. It is mentioned over 140 times.

· David spoke about it – Psalm 103 – The list of His blessings is inexhaustible and makes Him worthy of our thanksgiving.

·Daniel practiced it – Daniel 6:10 – Daniel demonstrates the power of giving thanks even when you are in the midst of trials.

·Paul wrote about it – 1 Thes. 5:18 – God deserves, commands and expects our thankfulness in all areas of life and at all times.

The key to experiencing the peace mentioned in verse 7 lies in possessing a thankful heart. Brethren let the praises of God fill your heart this week and in all circumstances give thanks and you shall surely have peace.

A CURE FOR ENVY

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: A CURE FOR ENVY.

... CONTINUE FROM YESTERDAY..

Thankfully, there is a cure for envy. The cure comes in a contentment found in setting our minds on all that God is for you in Jesus Christ.
The task of each believer is to do all he can with what God has given him. He is not to resent what has been given to another and is not to feel he needs to accomplish the task of another. He is to be a faithful steward of the gifts, blessings and resources that have been provided to him.

We are not all called to the same task and we will not all experience the same blessings on earth. And when it is time to receive our reward, each of us will be rewarded not on the basis of the quantity of the blessings we received, but on the quality of our response to these blessings, and our faithfulness to the Lord and our trust of God.

Hear the words of Charles Spurgeon:
The cure for envy lies in living under a constant sense of the divine presence, worshiping God and communing with Him all the day long, however long the day may seem. True religion lifts the soul into a higher region, where the judgment becomes more clear and the desires are more elevated.
The more of heaven there is in our lives, the less of earth we shall covet. The fear of God casts out envy of men.

Psalm 73:23-26 “Yet I am always with you; you hold me by my right hand. You guide me with your counsel, and afterward you will take me into glory. Whom have I in heaven but you? And earth has nothing I desire besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever”.

LET US PRAY
FATHER LORD IN JESUS NAME, DELIVER US FROM EVERY SPIRIT OF ENVINESS AND SATISFY US WITH THE PRESENCE OF YOUR SPIRIT ALWAYS FOR CONTENTMENT IN JESUS NAME.

THE DESTRUCTION IN ENVINESS

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE DESTRUCTION IN ENVINESS

Proverbs 14:30 KJV
A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.

... Continue from yesterday...
Traditionally envy was regarded as the second worst and second most prevalent of the seven deadly sins….Its uniqueness lies in the fact that it is the one vice that its perpetrators never enjoy and rarely confess.

Without pride and without envy, many other sins would not exist. Would there be adultery without pride or envy? Think of how often envy is the root cause behind the sins of stealing, slandering, hatred, and murder.

It is for good reason that the Ten Commandments conclude with a prohibition against coveting, for it is the desire of our hearts that leads us into sin. Envy is a deeply private but destructive form of covetousness. It was Aquinas who provided a famous definition of envy when he suggested that “Envy is sorrow (or resentment) at another’s good.”

Envy is begrudging God’s grace and blessing to another person. (It was the elder brother’s attitude in Luke 15 when his father lavished mercy on his younger prodigal brother.)

Guinness says: Envy enters when, seeing someone else’s happiness or success, we feel ourselves called into question. Then, out of the hurt of our wounded self-esteem, we seek to bring the other person down to our level by word or deed. (Since they make us feel low and unappreciated by their success, we feel we should bring them down to their deserved level.

Dorothy Sayers said, “Envy begins by asking plausibly: ‘Why should I not enjoy what others enjoy?’
and it ends by demanding: ‘Why should others enjoy what I may not?’”
While others have been awarded, lauded, and praised, and I should have been offering congratulations or encouragement, too often I have been muttering and grinding my teeth, begrudging another man a blessing.

Meanwhile those with enviness will not inherit the kingdom of God.
Galatians 5:21 KJV
Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, FILL US WITH YOUR SPIRIT OF LOVE TOWARDS OUR NEIGHBOURS IN JESUS NAME.

WHAT ENVY LEAD TO

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT ENVY LEAD TO

... CONTINUE FROM YESTERDAY.
Envy is a powerful temptation and a destructive sin. Wishing you were married to someone else leads to lust and adultery, even murder. Being jealous of someone else’s success and prosperity leads to gossip and slander about that person, for if YOU can’t be them, you don’t want them enjoying their status either. Envy in the church leads to a refusal to submit to elders and pastors, because if you can’t be in control and in charge, then why should you submit to others who are?

Envy is not merely desiring what another person has.. envy is not merely being resentful that they have it and you don’t.. envy also doesn’t want the other person to have it.. so, for example, a wife who is envious of another wife’s husband may try to destroy that marriage…

We see the sin of envy throughout the Bible,
In Num. 12:2, Aaron and Miriam are envious of the position that God had given their brother Moses: “Has the LORD spoken only through Moses?” they asked. “Hasn’t he also spoken through us?”

Here in Num. 16, Korah the Levite and some of his buddies are envious of the high priestly status that the Lord has given to Aaron: v. 3 “They came as a group to oppose Moses and Aaron and said to them, “You have gone too far! The whole community is holy, every one of them, and the LORD is with them. Why then do you set yourselves above the LORD’S assembly?”

God comments on this: Ps. 106:16 “In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron…” And God dealt with them mercilessly without accept their plea.
Brethren don't let envy brings God's wrought upon you. Wait for God's time in your life.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, TAKE AWAY EVERY SPIRIT OF ENVINESS IN US AND BLESS US WITH YOUR HOLY SPIRIT IN JESUS NAME.

Enviness

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: ENVINESS

What’s your response when someone else has what you want? What’s your response when your fellow worker gets recognized for her hard work by getting a raise or a bonus, and no one says anything about your work?
Is it rejoicing or is it resentment?
How do you feel when another Christian achieves a higher level of outward success than you do, perhaps a nicer home, lavish vacations, an early retirement, or better health ?
Rejoicing or resentment?

Or what’s your heart response to your friends when they tell you some great news that has happened to them, and it hasn’t happened to you? Rejoicing or resentment?

Is it “Good for them!” or is it “Why didn’t that happen to me?”

One of the deadliest sins is that of envy. Envy is the resentment that another person is enjoying something that you would like….. but you don’t have.

OUR ENVY RESULTS FROM TWO MAIN CAUSES:
1. We are not content….. and
2. we fail to love.

We envy because we are not content with how God has made us (our looks); or we are dissatisfied with the hand He has dealt us (our job, our house, our health; our life situation); or we envy those who are in positions above us, wishing we could be the boss or the CEO; wishing we could order others around, instead of being ordered about.

On the other hand, we envy because we fail to love others.
1 Cor. 13:4 “Love… does not envy).
If you love your spouse, you will rejoice if he or she gets an award or special recognition, right?
If you love your child, you will be glad if he or she gets a higher paying job than you have!
But if you envy someone else’s success, it means that you don’t love them; it means you love yourself more than you love them.

If you allow enviness to takeover your mind, you won't know when you will become evil and started planning evil of your fellow brother. Be contented and love your neighbours success your time will come too.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, TAKE EVERY MIND OF ENVINESS NESS AWAY FROM OUR HEART IN JESUS NAME.

WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt4)

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt4)

OUR SPIRITS ARE REFRESHED AND RENEWED IN HIS PRESENCE.

We're strengthened by His peace and refueled by His joy. Through a heart of praise, we realize that God doesn’t just change our situations and work through our problems, He changes our hearts.

“In His presence, there is fullness of joy.” Psa. 16:11

"Because your love is better than life, my lips will glorify you. I will praise you as long as I live, and in your name I will lift up my hands." Psa. 63:3-4

IT PAVES THE WAY FOR GOD'S POWER TO BE DISPLAYED,

miracles happen. People's lives are affected and changed. God shakes things up through praise. As Paul and Silas sat in prison, shackled, and chained, they kept right on praising God. And God sent an earthquake that shook the cells and broke the chains. The jailer and all his family came to know Christ that very night.

“About midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them, and suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken. And immediately all the doors were opened, and everyone's bonds were unfastened.” Acts 16:25-26
We have a choice every day in this life. To live absorbed in worry and stress, on the fast track of busy, focused only on what surrounds us, tuned into the roar of the world.
Or, we can ask God to help us take our eyes off all that may be swirling around, our problems and mess, or the voices of others. And we can look up...to Him, the One who holds it all together, and who holds us in his hands.

WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt3)

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt3)

... Continue from last message....
PRAISE MAKES ROOM FOR GOD’S BLESSINGS OVER OUR LIVES.

He will not hold back His goodness, praise opens the gateway of blessing as we come into the Presence of our King.

“Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” Psa. 100:4

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:" Eph. 1:3

PRAISE INVITES HIS PRESENCE.

God dwells close to us when we praise Him. He lives there. He looks for it.

“He inhabits the praises of His people.” Psa. 22:3

"But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that you should show forth the praises of him who has called you out of darkness into his marvelous light;" 1 Pet. 2:9

Brethren, cultivate the habit of praises in your daily dealings and miracle will follow in your life in Jesus name

WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt2)

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO (Pt2)

PRAISE MAKES THE ENEMY FLEE.

It pushes back the darkness the surrounds, and blocks the attacks and hissing lies over us. Evil will not stick around if we’re praising our God, who will fight our battles for us. In the story of Jehoshaphat, we see God miraculously defeat the enemy, because of the people’s obedience to praise Him.

“As they began to sing and praise, the Lord set ambushes against the men of Ammon and Moab and Mount Seir who were invading Judah, and they were defeated” 2 Chron. 20:22

PRAISE LEAVES NO ROOM FOR COMPLAINING AND NEGATIVITY.

Sometimes even within our prayers, we can tend to complain about our problems. God knows our hearts. And He cares about all that concerns us. But through praise, we’re focused on Him, no longer allowing too much attention to be centered around the struggles. We’re reminded of what He has already done in our lives. We’re reminded that He knows what concerns us, and is capable of taking care of all that burdens us.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy.” Psa. 103:2-4

"By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name." Heb. 13:15

LET US PRAY
IN JESUS NAME, LET ALL ENEMY AND NEGATIVITY DISAPPEAR IN OUR LIFES THROUGH PRAISES OF GOD IN OUR MOUTH IN JESUS NAME.

What the Power of Praise Can Do

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT THE POWER OF PRAISE CAN DO

What the Power of Praise Can Do -

1. Praise gets our focus off ourselves and back on God.

In our often “selfie” focused world, we need this constant reminder - life is not all about us. We may know that in our heads, but yet our hearts think differently so often. We're prone to selfishness, He desires our eyes be set firmly on Him, because that's where our true hope is found. He is worthy of our praise, no matter what we face from day to day.

“Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness!” Psa. 150:2

"And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long." Psa. 35:28

2. Praise brings us to a place of humility.
We remember our dependency on God, as we acknowledge our need for Him. As we praise Him as Creator and King of this world, we admit and recognize that we’re not in control, but He is. He is above all.

“Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.” Psa. 95:2-3

"I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people." Psa. 35:18

VICTORY IS IN JESUS CHRIST.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: VICTORY IS IN JESUS CHRIST.

Many Christians are seeking victory through some teaching or some unusual experience, but victory is not in a teaching or in an experience. Victory is in the Lord Jesus Christ. The Bible says,

"But thanks be to God who gives us the victory THROUGH OUR LORD JESUS CHRIST." 1 Corinthians 15:57

CHRIST MAKES TWO OFFERS

Jesus Christ makes two offers to every person. He offers them eternal life, and He offers them victory over sin. He makes both of these offers on exactly the same basis—that we let Him do it all.

Just as there is a right way and a wrong way to seek salvation, so there is a right way and a wrong way to seek victory. The wrong way is to try to do it yourself. The right way is to let the Lord do it for you. The Lord Jesus said,

"Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Matthew 11:28

If you were working at a job, and the Lord Jesus came to you and said, "I will give you rest," what would you expect Him to do? You would expect Him to take over your job and do it while you rested. This is exactly what He wants to do for you.

Perhaps you have been trying to live the victorious life, but failing. The Lord Jesus says to you, "Let Me take over. I will live the victorious life in and through you."

Just ask the Lord Jesus to come into your life and help you to do it all. You will surely have victory in Jesus Name.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, DESTROY EVERY BURDENS OF SINS AND ENEMY UPON US AND GIVE US VICTORY IN JESUS NAME.

VICTORY BY GRACE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: VICTORY BY GRACE

let us think about the time God saved us. Each one of us can look back to a time when we were separated from God and "dead in trespasses and sins." But God loved us and saved us by His grace. The Bible says,

"And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins…" Ephesians 2:1

When we were "dead in trespasses and sins" could we make ourselves alive spiritually? No, we could not. It was God's power working in us that made us alive spiritually. It was all of God's grace. The Bible says,

"For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God…" Ephesians 2:8

Now, let us think about the future. We know that one day the Lord Jesus is coming for His believers. All believers, both those who have died and those who are living when He comes, will be caught up to meet the Lord in the air. Our bodies will be changed instantly, and we shall be made like Him. The Bible says,

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from Heaven with a shout…and the dead in Christ shall rise first: then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air…" 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17

WHAT ABOUT THIS ?
Will we be caught up to meet the Lord by our own power? No, not at all. It will be by God's mighty power. It will be by His grace.

WHAT ABOUT NOW ?
Are we just to struggle along in our own strength, doing the best we can, but failing miserably? No! God has made it possible for us to be victorious now.

WHAT IS GOD'S PROVISION FOR US NOW ?
His provision is His grace—His mighty power working in us. No matter what our situation may be, God says to us, "My grace is sufficient for you."

God's grace for us now is simply Christ living in us. When God says, "My grace is sufficient for you" He is saying, "My Christ is sufficient for you. Trust Him. He can give you victory in every situation."

WHAT DO WE DO ?
We rest in Christ. We trust Him to keep us and to give us victory. This is receiving God's grace. When we do this, we "reign" in life.
The Bible says,
"…those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ." Romans 5:17b

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET YOUR GRACE FIND US FROM ALL OUR STRUGGLES AND LET YOUR GRACE SPEAK PEACE INTO OUR WORRIED LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

VICTORY IS A GIFT

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: VICTORY IS A GIFT

The first thing we want to see about the life of victory is that it is a gift. Just as eternal life is a gift, so the victorious life is also a gift. It cannot be earned; it is the gift of God. The Bible says,

"Thanks be to God who GIVES us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1 Corinthians 15:57

Victory is by God's Grace
The next thing we need to see about the life of victory is that it is by God's grace.

WHAT IS GRACE ?

Grace is something God does for us. Grace has often been defined as "God's unmerited favour" but grace is much more than this. Grace is God's mighty, omnipotent power working for us, doing things for us that we could never do for ourselves. From beginning to end, our salvation is all of God's grace.

But don't we have a part in salvation?
Yes, we do. What is our part?
Our part is to receive what God's grace provides for us.

John 3:17-19 KJV
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. [18] He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. [19] And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

LET US PRAY
COME INTO OUR HEART LORD JESUS AND SAVE US FROM HELL, GIVE US YOUR VICTORY AND MAKE US AN OVERCOMMER IN JESUS NAME.

WHAT IS VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE ?

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: WHAT IS VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN LIFE ?

When we speak of "the victorious life of Christian" we are not speaking of a life without temptation or a life of sinless perfection. It is not possible for a person to have such a transaction with the Lord as to enable him to say, "I am without sin," or "I can never sin again." The Bible says,

"If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us." 1 John 1:8

WHAT, IS VICTORIOUS LIFE ?

The victorious life is a life of peace and joy in the Lord. It is a life of constant fellowship with the Lord. It is a life of victory over sins—even the so called "little sins," such as temper, fault-finding, irritability, complaining, lack of love, envy, jealousy, unkind words, wrong thoughts, worry, anxiety. Christian who is Victorious has victory over them all.

The victorious life is a life that glorifies the Lord Jesus—the only kind of life that glorifies Him.

WHO CAN HAVE THIS KIND OF LIFE ?

Any believer! It is for you! The victorious life is not for just a few, special Christians. It is presented in the New Testament as the normal Christian life. God has made provision for every Christian to live this kind of Life.

Today the Lord is ministering to me and you to start living this kind of victorious life. He want us to always do what please him, he created us for his glory and his glory we must surely live for. Amen

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, GIVE US VICTORY OVER EVERY SATANIC POWER AROUND US IN JESUS NAME.

VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: VICTORIOUS CHRISTIAN

2 Corinthians 12:9b KJV
And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness.

The saddest experience in the life of a Christian is to be under the power of sin. Sin in the life of a Christian has three terrible results:

1. It dishonours the name of the Lord Jesus.
If you are a Christian, you represent the Lord Jesus. When you yield to sin, you bring dishonour to His name.

2. It robs you of your joy and power. As long as you are yielding to sin, God will not use you.

3. It destroys your Christian testimony. Other people judge your Christian witness, not so much by what you say, but by the way you live day by day.
Right now, by your life, you are saying one of two things to other people. You are saying, "The Christian life works!" or you are saying, "The Christian life doesn't work."

The way you live as a Christian affects not only your life, but the lives of other people as well. Do you see why it is so important for you to be a victorious Christian?

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FORGIVER

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE FORGIVER

Let's analyse the problem: when to forbear and when to forgive

(Colossians 3:13).
The first thing to do when you think you should forgive someone who has wronged you is to make sure that it really rises to the level of forgiveness.

Colossians 3:13 says: "Bear with each other and forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

There is forgiveness, and there is forbearance. You can think of forbearance as a kind of low-level forgiveness, or more simply as exercising patience and tolerance in the face of the idiosyncrasies of the people in your life.

For example, if your spouse is chronically late in getting ready to leave the house for an engagement, that doesn’t really rise to the level of mortal sin. It may be irritating, but it just doesn’t say in the Ten Commandments, "Thou shalt not wait until the last minute to put thy makeup on."
And it doesn’t say in the Ten Commandments that table manners are a matter of spiritual life and death.

You may have to forbear someone who talks too much, someone who wears really pungent perfume, someone in your house who chews with his or her mouth open or who leaves towels on the floor, someone who seems incapable of replacing the toilet paper roll. You may need to smile and tolerate some of the weird opinions of others or if they have no opinions or are opinionated about everything—but that probably is more about forbearance than forgiveness.

If you don’t see the necessity to forbear, then you may be living a narcissistic life, as if your way of living and thinking is superior in every way to that of others.
No, we have to live with the assumption that we live in an imperfect world surrounded by imperfect people, and not every bumping of heads means someone has sinned.

Forgiveness is the gutsiest thing a human being can do because real people do real damage to each other all the time—but it can be solved.
Bible says "Forgive whatever grievances you may have against one another. Forgive as the Lord forgave you."

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, GIVE US A SOFT HEART TO FORGIVE THE OFFENCES OF OUR NEIGHBOURS IN JESUS NAME.

THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERSON SEEKING FORGIVENESS.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE PERSON SEEKING FORGIVENESS.

Psalms 32:1-5
"Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man whose sin the LORD does not count against him and in whose spirit is no deceit. When I kept silent, my bones wasted away through my groaning all day long. For day and night your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was sapped as in the heat of summer. Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD’ — and you forgave the guilt of my sin."

First, to be forgiven is to be blessed beyond your wildest dreams, knowing that your Creator, the gracious Father above, is willing to forgive your mistakes and offenses. God is willing to not hold our sins against us. One’s record is wiped clean. No debt owed. Account settled. We’ve got to comprehend the blessing of forgiveness because if we take God’s forgiveness for granted with an attitude that says: "Well, what else is God going to do? Isn’t that His job?" then we’ll never understand or appropriate the forgiveness of God, and there is not a chance we’ll be forgiving of others.

Notice the progression of the person’s heart in this passage: "my bones wasted away... my strength was sapped." This is a person being "eaten up on the inside" as we sometimes say.
Guilt will do that. And though it is hard to believe, the tortured conscience is a gift. Look at the psychopaths and charlatans in our society.
Look at the terrorist, the spouse-abuser, the chat room predator, and you’ll be frightened by the image of the dead conscience and glad if your conscience is alive and vocal.

What’s the responsibility of the person seeking forgiveness?

Verse 5: "Then I acknowledged my sin to you and did not cover up my iniquity. I said, ‘I will confess my transgressions to the LORD’—and you forgave the guilt of my sin."
When was the last time you tried to cover up your transgressions?

Covering up is the unfortunate instinct of fallen human nature. Denying our faults and mess-ups seems to be the way of least pain, but it only adds pain to pain.
We are supposed to confess our wrongdoings. But to whom?

The simple answer is: the person or persons whom we’ve wronged. Now in every instance, that is God. In Psalm 51, David’s heart-rending confession of his adultery with Bathsheba and arranging the death of her husband says: "against you, you only, have I sinned." Of course, he had sinned against people—but the epicenter of the earthquake of our sins is always our detachment from God Himself. And so we confess to God.

We’re also supposed to confess our wrongdoings to the people we’ve wronged in many, but not all, circumstances. You have to judge the outcome and let God's wisdom lead you not to complicate issue.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST. HELP US TO TAKE THE RIGHT STEP IN LIFE IN JESUS NAME.

FORGIVENESS MEANS LOOKING AT OTHERS IN A NEW WAY.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: FORGIVENESS MEANS LOOKING AT OTHERS IN A NEW WAY.

Matthew 6:15 KJV
But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Forgiveness is a new way of looking at others. It’s a radical and counter-cultural perspective on life. If you believe in forgiveness—that God forgives, even though He is not obligated to, and that we’ll have the best kind of life if we hold other people in our lives with a loose grip—then here’s how you’ll view other people.
You will see people for what they can be and what they were intended to be, rather than simply as they are.

You’ll learn to not focus on people who simply irritate you. You can focus on them, of course, if you choose to, and keep yourself in a continual state of irritation; and you end up irritating the living daylights out of other people around you. But it doesn’t have to be that way.

Forgiveness means looking at people who really have wronged you and deciding that you’d like to set things right—but in the end, you’re not going to play God.

And forgiveness means that you view the deranged people who shoot up school rooms and then turn the guns on themselves as people who are going to be standing before the judgment seat of God. They will answer to God.

forgiveness is a decision and a process. You can release someone from obligation to you personally, even though the smoldering fires of resentment keep burning in you for some time to come.

Matthew 6:14 KJV
For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

LET US PRAY
FATHER HELP ME TO FORGIVE THOSE THAT HAVE OFFENDED ME AND FORGIVE MY SINS TOO LORD IN JESUS NAME.

FORGIVENESS MEANS RELEASE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: FORGIVENESS MEANS RELEASE

(Matthew 18:27,Matthew 18:32)

So, then, what really is the meaning of forgiveness?

The biblical word, the new covenant word. In Greek it is APHASIS, in English, RELEASE.

Now just for a moment, don’t make it any more complicated than that. RELEASE.
To forgive means to choose someone whom you have been holding in your debt, holding in resentment and bitterness, and release him or her.

Forgiveness is not calling something that someone else did that was immoral or destructive OK. It is not turning a blind eye toward injustice. Forgiveness simply means that you choose to release somebody from personal obligation to you—even though that person will have to face the justice of God.

In Matthew 18,
Jesus answers. A man owed a king ten thousand talents and was on the brink of having to sell his wife and children into slavery to pay the debt. But the pleas of the man to the king resulted in a canceling of the debt. FORGIVENESS. RELEASE. But the same man turns on a man who owes him merely a hundred denarii. And when the king hears of it, he is incensed, saying, "You wicked servant, ... I canceled all that debt of yours. ... Shouldn’t you have had mercy on your fellow servant?" The king rescinds his forgiveness. And Jesus’ closing words are these: "This is how my heavenly Father will treat each of you unless you forgive your brother from your heart."
Forgiveness is release—being released by God, and then we are able to release other people in our lives.

This week God want you to release people you have been holding up in your heart. LET go and let God.

LET US PRAY,
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST. HEAL OUR HURT AND BROKEN HEART WHICH IS WOUNDED BY PEOPLE AROUND US IN JESUS NAME

FORGIVENESS

Topic: FORGIVENESS

To forgive is a divine attribute. It is to pardon or excuse someone from blame for an offense or misdeed. The scriptures refer to forgiveness in two ways.
1. The Lord commands us to repent of our sins and seek His forgiveness.
2. He also commands us to forgive those who offend or hurt us.

Sin is a heavy burden. It brings the tenseness of guilt and the anguish of knowing that we have acted against the will of our Father in Heaven. It brings lingering remorse as we realize that because of our actions, we may have hurt others and prevented ourselves from receiving blessings our Father has been ready to give us.

Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ, we can receive forgiveness for our sins through sincere and complete repentance. Sinfulness brings suffering and pain, but the Lord's forgiveness brings relief, comfort, and joy. The Lord has promised:

“Though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool” (Isaiah 1:18).

We can experience this miracle, whether we need to repent of serious sins or day-to-day weaknesses. Just as the Savior pleaded with people anciently, He pleads with us today:

“Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
(Matthew 11:28-30).

In addition to seeking forgiveness for our own sins, we must be willing to forgive others.

In the everyday circumstances of life, we will surely be wronged by other people—sometimes innocently and sometimes intentionally. It is easy to become bitter or angry or vengeful in such situations, but this is not the Lord's way. The Savior counseled, ”Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you“ (Matthew 5:44). He set the perfect example of forgiveness when He was on the cross. Referring to the Roman soldiers who had crucified Him, He prayed, ”Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do“ (Luke 23:34;

LET US PRAY.
IN JESUS NAME, GOD'S MERCY WILL FORGIVE US AND WASH AWAY OUR SINS STAIN IN JESUS NAME. AMEN
