IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL
TOPIC: JESUS IS COMING SOON
TEXT: “This know also, that IN THE LAST DAYS perilous times shall come. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good, Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God; Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses, and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with divers lusts, Ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth.”
There has never been a time in human history, since before the flood of Noah's time, when 2nd Timothy 3:1-7 was more relevant than it is today. The world has become a large cesspool of iniquity. People nowadays have become selfish, self-centered, self-conscious and self-righteous. Jesus told us in Matthew 24:12 that the love of MANY people would “wax cold” during the Tribulation Period because of injustice. We certainly appear to be nearing those times.
The Bible tells us in Genesis 6:5, “And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.” This describes the woeful moral condition of the world prior to the flood. The “Days of Noah,” as the Bible calls them, were a time of horrible wickedness and indifference. In Matthew 24:37-38, Jesus gives us an important truth concerning His return for the Saints ...
“But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be. For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark.”
In Luke 18:8 Jesus makes a startling statement ...
“...Nevertheless when the Son of man cometh, shall he find faith on the earth?”
Jesus wasn't asking a question, He was making a rhetorical statement. The implied answer is “No!” By comparing Luke 18:8 with Matthew 24:37-38, 2nd Timothy 3:1-7 and Genesis 6:5, and a host of other applicable Scriptures, it is evident to me that the Lord's return in ever so near. The wickedness of Sodom and Gomorrah cannot be compared to the evils in the world today due to advances in modern technology, enabling mankind to commit sin on an unprecedented scale.
I believe with all my heart that the Lord's return, i.e., the Pretribulation Rapture, is very near. Biblically, it would be heresy to set a date or to be dogmatic concerning the return of Jesus Christ; however, the Word of God does mention the “Last Days,” which is significant to the Christian believer who eagerly awaits the Lord's return
I will continue tomorrow. . .
brethren how prepared are you ?, Jesus may come any moment from now, don't be disturb and distracted away from the lord Jesus
LET US PRAY
FATHER PREPARE ME FOR YOUR COMING, DON'T LET ME SLEEP SPIRITUALLY AND MISS THE GLORIOUS CALL IN JESUS NAME
