Study the Word of God.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Study the Word of God.

Second Timothy 2:15 says that if you study the Word of God, you will not be ashamed. It also says that studying the Word will give you the ability to rightfully divide the word of truth.

Do you need God's deliverance? Do you want freedom from God? Then the next things you need in your life is to start studying God's word now that will open your eye to true deliverance,

The urgency of studying the Word is made clear in the story of Hymenaeus and Philetus (see 2 Tim. 2:16-18). They made an error concerning the truth that caused them to lose their deliverance and to be turned over to Satan.

Their sin was said to be blasphemy. According to 2 Timothy 2:16, vain babblings will increase and lead to more ungodliness. When you do not rightfully divide the truth, it will devour your deliverance.
When you turn to the word of God for your deliverance, the word of God will be a light to guide you toward the right prayer, a right action that will lead to a right result.
LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET YOUR WORD DELIVER ME FROM EVERY SATANIC BONDAGE HOLDING DOWN MY DESTINY IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

Separate yourself from the accursed thing.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Separate yourself from the accursed thing.

In the days of Joshua, the Israelites were known as people of victory. They were famous for deliverance. But their challenge was dealing with the spoils of their victory.

In Joshua's case, God commanded that they not take any of the enemy's goods (see Josh. 6:18). The four lepers who sat at the gate of Samaria were to take of the goods, but hoarding them would cause them to lose their deliverance (see 2 Kin. 7).

When God has delivered you and you obtain victory in an area of your life, you must have an ear to hear the further instructions of the Lord. God takes you from one level to the next, but there are new devils on every level.

When you get saved and delivered, you do not join a club membership; you enroll in the greatest army ever! God is taking His people from a "membership mentality" to a "warfare mentality" (see Judg. 3:1). Untill you do that you are still liable to be a victim of demonic attack and be overcome.

You have to separate yourself from accursed things so as for you to maintain your level of deliverance in the Lord Jesus Christ.

LET US PRAY
EVERY DEMONIC POWER CONNECTING US TO ACCURSED THINGS IS DESTROYED IN JESUS NAME.

Remain Connected

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Remain connected.

First Peter 5:8 warns us that our adversary is seeking whom he may devour. One of his primary targets is a believer who does not have the proper spiritual connection or covering in two areas:

God gave gifts (the fivefold ministry) to the church for the maturity of the saints (see Eph. 2:20). Individual believers need to be touched by each of the fivefold ministries of the church--including the apostolic and prophetic ministries.

God warns us not to forsake the assembling of ourselves together (see Heb. 10:24-25). Those who allow themselves to be separated from the flock will be devoured by the lion.
But when you stay connected devil find it difficult to overcome you, there is this proverb that when brooms are one it is difficult to kill a fly but them it's in bundle it can be effective,
When we as a body of Christ stay connected with each other in unity and one accord, Satan is in trouble, that is why all church leader and children of God must not forsake the unity of the church worldwide,

Let's stop the discrimination and political hatred of tribalism in the church, Jesus Christ is one, our gospel is one, our goal is the kingdom of God, this is how we can overcome the devil, stay connected

LET US PRAY
EVERY EVIL POWER DISCONNECTING US FROM THE POWER SOURCE OF GOD ALMIGHTY, CATCH FIRE IN JESUS NAME.

PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PRACTICE WHAT YOU PREACH

MAINTAIN YOUR DELIVERANCE
In order to be effective deliverance workers, intercessors or ministers, we need to "practice what we preach." Paul made this point in 1 Corinthians 9:26-27: "I don't know about you, but I'm running hard for the finish line. I'm giving it everything I've got. No sloppy living for me!

"I'm staying alert and in top condition. I'm not going to get caught napping, telling everyone else all about it and then missing out myself" (The Message). It is easy for most believers to recognize Satan as evil, but it seems to be difficult for some to see their flesh as evil.

However, it is the season for the saints of God to get their houses in order. Accept the fact that your flesh has a mind of its own (see Rom. 8:5-8). It must be sternly dealt with, or it will run the house.

Getting deliverance is one thing; sustaining it is another. You need to practice what you preach in the Bible about Christ it is then you are living a well full delivered life in Christ Jesus

LET US PRAY
I RENOUNCE EVERY SINFUL ACT OF MINE AND SURRENDER TO THE RULE AND FREEDOM OF CHRIST IN JESUS NAME.

STRATEGY OF THE KINGDOM IN BREAKING DEMONIC STRONGHOLD

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: STRATEGY OF THE KINGDOM IN BREAKING DEMONIC STRONGHOLD

The traditional way of living out our Christianity is to somehow just "make it" until Jesus comes back "in the sweet by and by." But God is raising up an apostolic generation with a different spirit.

This generation has the spiritual balance to dig up the wells of their forefathers and draw from their inheritance. But they will not follow the traditions of men that were designed to keep people out of the promised land.

Know who you are in Christ Jesus and who He is in you! Who you are in Him qualifies you for heaven; who He is in you authorizes you to do greater works than He did in the earth. The strategy of God's kingdom is this: God's will coming to Earth.

Jesus told Peter: "'I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven'"(Matt. 16:18-19).

You are the devil's worst nightmare! Once you grasp the revelation that you were born to terrorize darkness, you will stop running from situations that are designed to take you out of the will of God.

Pray that God will give you a burden for setting people free. Once your heart becomes heavy from seeing the devil hold captive the people with whom you have daily contact, you will have a hunger to see souls not only delivered from sin but also set free from the demonic control of Satan and his evil spirits.

God has given us a revelation of the believer's authority over hell. Binding and loosing is a high level of spiritual warfare.

In binding, we confront the enemy and forbid him to operate. When we loose, we cause a breakthrough in the spirit realm. We pave the way through warfare prayer, and the will of God is released (see Matt. 6:10).

You make a spiritual connection when you engage the enemy in prayer. You actually come into agreement with heaven (see Matt. 18:19). Then the keys are given to us to shut up demonic activity, and breakthrough happens!

How you pray has a lot to do with how effective you are on Earth. James told his church that they did not have what they were praying for because they were not praying the right prayers. "You ask and do not receive, because you ask amiss, that you may spend it on your pleasures" (James 4:3).

If we are not praying prayers that are the will of God, then we are praying prayers out of our own flesh. Fleshly prayers do not move the heart of God. They are futile.

But a kingdom-minded person has an apostolic attitude and is not drawn to carnality. He or she is drawn instead to that which causes the kingdom of God to come.

LET US PRAY
WHOEVER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR OUR MISFORTUNE, LET FIRE OF HEAVEN PURSUE THEM, RENDER THEM POWERLESS AND DELIVER US IN JESUS NAME.

True Deliverance

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: TRUE DELIVERANCE

GOD HAS GIVEN US POWER OVER THE ENEMY. IF YOU BELIEVE CHRIST CAME TO SET THE CAPTIVES FREE, THEN DELIVERANCE IS FOR YOU.

If you are a believer, then Jesus has given you the authority to represent Him. Mark 16:17-18 tells us: "'These signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues: they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover'" (NKJV).

Every believer has the ability to cast out devils. A believer who does not cast out devils is like a person who carries around a gift card but never uses it.

We come to Jesus in need of salvation and release from the grips of the evil one and his lifestyle. Once we are released, a sure sign of spiritual growth in Christ is the manifestation of the signs of the believers mentioned above.

You cannot get around the ministry of casting out devils if you want to walk in the full gospel. Unless you believe in deliverance, you are not fulfilling the entire purpose of Christ for your life as outlined in His Word.

Jesus came to set the captives free. He could have sat in heaven and loosed fire on the devil's head, but He came down as a man, as an example to us that we can resist and attack demonic forces in victory.

God gets no pleasure out of watching the devil attack and destroy His children. Jesus hijacked the devil and gave us the keys. Now He sits at the right hand of the Father and watches to see what we will do with them.

LET US PRAY
Every Satanic stronghold on your destiny is lose right now in Jesus name,

Dasuki brought to court on judge’s order

Former National Security Adviser (NSA), Col. Sambo Dasuki (retd), was yesterday brought before Justice Husseini Baba-Yusuf of the High Court of the Federal Capital Territory [FCT] to answer criminal charges brought against him on the order of the court.

When his case was called, Dasuki was not in court and the judge had to stand down the matter for two hours and insisted that the trial will not be conducted until he had been brought before him as required by law in a criminal trial.

Dasuki was, however, brought to the court around 11am in compliance with the order under tight security.

Justice Adeniyi Ademola of the Federal High Court, Abuja had on Wednesday ordered the Federal Government to produce Dasuki before him on February 16 to answer fresh criminal charges.

He said it was wrong of the government to have expected the court to conduct a criminal trial in the absence of the defendant and in violation of the law.

Three courts where Dasuki was arraigned for criminal charges had granted him bail, but he was yet to regain his freedom.

However, Dasuki’s prosecution yesterday in a case filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) for alleged criminal diversion of over N19billion, has been stalled at the FCT High Court, Abuja.

The case was stalled following a letter from his lawyer, Mr. Ahmed Raji (SAN) that he was handling election petition tribunal matter in Kogi State, prompting the court to adjourn the case to yesterday to enable him defend his client.

While other parties in the suit conceded to the letter, counsel to the EFCC, Mr. Rotimi Jacobs (SAN), expressed reservations on grounds that the defence has lawyers who could have managed the case.

Justice Baba-Yusuf adjourned the case to January 22 for trial to commence.

Last month, the EFCC arraigned Dasuki and two others on 19 counts of misappropriation of $2.1 billion funds meant for purchase of arms before an FCT High Court in Maitama, Abuja.

Those charged with the former NSA were a former Director of Finance and Administration in the Office of the NSA, Shuaibu Salisu, and Aminu Baba-Kusa.

Baba-Kausa’s two firms – Acacia Holdings Ltd and Reliance Referral Hospital Limited – were also charged.

The founder of DAAR Communications Plc, Chief Raymond Alegho Dokpesi, was also charged with Dasuki and others.

In a 19-count charge preferred against Dasuki, Baba-Kusa and others, the EFCC accused them of money laundering and criminal breach of trust.

The charge sheet named Acacia Holdings and Referral Hospital as fourth and fifth defendants, who were also represented by the second accused , Baba – Kusa.

They were accused of misappropriating about N32 billion between January 13, 2013 and April 17,2015 in violation of Section 315 of the Nigerian Penal Code Act, and Section 17 (b) of the EFCC Act, 2004.

“Today (Janurary 22) 3 suicide bombers attempted to infiltrate into Maiduguri a kilometer ahead of Mafa roadblock. Gallant troop of the theater shot one dead, while the other detonated and in the process killed the third suicide bomber.

“The Theatre Commander Operation Lafiya Dole, Major General Hassan Umaru commended the efforts of the troops and renewed call for the troops and the public to be more vigilant and security conscious at all times, particularly at check points, markets, worship centres, motor parks and schools.

“He equally appreciated the support from the public in rendering useful information on the activities of the terrorists. The public would be kept informed of the situation as the need arises.”

Buhari Gives Order to Reveal All Politicians With Questionable Assets in Dubai

Because some politicians have started denying, President Muhammadu Buhari has ordered Nigerian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to investigate, document, and submit the full list of all Nigerian public officials with assets in the UAE.

Inside sources say Mr. President had also set a deadline for the completion and releasing of the list.

The list must be out latest on March 31, 2016. All politicians with questionable assets, no matter your party, will be exposed. The presidential deadline comes on the heels of bilateral agreements signed earlier this week between Nigeria and the UAE to facilitate the extradition of suspects wanted in Nigeria as well as the repatriation of stolen assets back to Nigeria.

Presidency sources told Sahara Reporters that Nigeria’s ambassador to the UAE, Ibrahim Auwalu, had been asked to extend his term of service to ensure that the list is accurately compiled and submitted to Buhari.

The UAE has become a destination for many public officials since President Buhari’s inauguration at the end of May 2015. Many Nigerian officials with assets and real estate in the UAE, especially Dubai, have fled there hoping for sanctuary from Buhari’s prosecution for corruption.

Nigeria’s bilateral agreement with the UAE is part of the Buhari administration’s agenda to set in motion legal mechanisms to facilitate the arrest of corrupt politicians and the repatriation of stolen assets.

Names of numerous public officials and politically exposed persons who own real estate in Dubai were leaked this week but some of them are denying.

The list, released by SR, include ex-Comptroller-General of Customs, Abdullahi Dikko, Goodluck Jonathan’s special assistant on domestic matters, Waripamowei Dudafa, a former chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Adamu Muazu, former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Alison-Madueke, Mr. Jonathan’s former campaign spokesman, Femi Fani-Kayode, former Minister of Transportation, Idris Umar, former Minister for the Niger Delta, Godsday Orubebe, former Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke (who recently moved to The Hague), former Minister of State for Finance, Bashir Yuguda, who has been indicted in Nigeria, former Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, former Governor of Niger State, Babangida Aliyu, and former First Lady Patience Jonathan.

Sources say some politicians use other peoples' names to buy properties in Dubai, that was why they were bold to claim that they don't have houses in Dubai but EFCC is working and will expose them.

We Won’t Pay Millions of Naira as Surety for Metuh – PDP

The national leadership of the PDP has said it will not provide sureties for its National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, who is now struggling to get as much as N1billion to meet two bail bonds.

The party said since Metuh was being prosecuted for money he collected for himself, he should go look for those who would stand as sureties for him elsewhere and not at the PDP head officer.
“Metuh didn’t represent the party in the alleged crimes he’s being prosecuted. The party didn’t benefit from the alleged crime.
“So, he is going to look for sureties himself. We won’t be involved. He would carry his own cross alone, without the party being involved.”

Deputy National Publicity Secretary of PDP, Alhaji Abdullahi Jalo, told PUNCH in an interview in Abuja that it would be wrong for anyone to be expecting the party to provide sureties for Metuh when the party did not benefit from the money he allegedly collected from ex-NSA Sabo Dasuki.

Metuh is facing charges for collecting N400m from Dasuki, an offence the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, described as money laundering.

Though Metuh said he actually collected the money, he said it was for a job he did for Goodluck Jonathan but he has refused to mention the job he did with the money.

He is also being prosecuted by EFCC for allegedly tearing statement he made while under interrogation.

There were anxieties on how he would meet the conditions in order to ease his release from the prisons.

But acting PDP spokesman, Jalo, said the party would not provide for the sureties for Metuh.

Ijaw Youths Threaten Buhari over Move to Prosecute Tompolo

Ijaw Youth Council (IYC), kinsmen of a Niger Delta militant leader, Government Ekpemupolo popularly known as Tompolo has warned the President Muhammadu Buhari-led government against conducting a witch-hunt after Tompolo was charged with theft and money laundering running into Billions.

A federal high court in Lagos last week ordered the arrest of Tompolo on accusations that he stole more than $175million (161 million euros) between 2012 and last year while Goodluck Jonathan was in office.

The Ijaw youths have threatened to take action of the government does not leave Tompolo alone.

Olisa Metuh Locked Up With 419 Guys In Prison

There are indications that the Peoples Democratic Party spokesman, Olisa Metuh, is being kept in a prison cell where financial scammers and some bad boys who had committed frauds were being held.

Nigerian Prison authorities usually isolate high profile inmates from other criminals who had committed violent offences like armed robbery, murder and other heinous crimes.

The prison officers are said to be keeping a tight watch over Metuh to prevent any foul play...

It was learnt that Metuh, who was remanded at Kuje Prisons, Abuja on the order of a Federal High Court, was isolated from other awaiting trial inmates to protect him from being harmed.

It was gathered that the prison authorities were following the standard laid down protocol in Metuh’s case by shielding him from violent inmates who could attack him at night.

The source explained that Metuh had not been eating prison food, adding that he had made arrangement for his feeding, which he said was allowed.

A source said, “The prisons service has a standard procedure they follow when it comes to high profile inmates or VIP detainees as you call them. One, we don’t allow them to mix with other inmates for safety reason. Secondly, we don’t keep them in crowded cells, but they are kept with those who may have committed a similar offence or offences.

“In Metuh’s case, we are observing the same protocol; he is being held in a cell where people who had committed similar offences were being kept, that is, those who did not commit violent crimes and we are keeping a serious watch over him to prevent any foul play.”

When Punch asked if the prison service was giving Metuh special treatment, the Public Relations Officer, Francis Enobore, said all inmates were treated fairly and equally, stressing that “there is no VIP treatment for anyone in prison custody.”

DEPENDING ON GOD

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: DEPENDING ON GOD.

Note the example of Moses - Deuteronomy 8:3,11-14,16-18

Moses knew that man lives, not by bread alone, but by the word of God. Our physical blessings come, not by our own power and might, but from God. All good things come from God.

We must appreciate how weak we would be without Him. This leads us to depend on God to meet our needs. In turn, we then appreciate and exalt Him.

Note the teaching of Jesus - Matthew 18:1-4.
The greatest in the kingdom is one who is humble like a little child. I have heard people say a child is humble because it is forgiving. Perhaps, but a child is not just forgiving; he is totally dependent on his parents.
Where does a child receive what he needs? Who provides his food, changes his diaper, and dresses him? When he has pain, for whom does he call? A child is weak, but he knows Momma and Daddy can meet his needs. So humility leads us to humbly admit our need for God.

Proper humility toward God is an admission of our own weakness, sinfulness, unprofitableness, and inability to obtain or accomplish by ourselves the things we need. We need help from someone far greater than we are. God knows what we need and what is good better than we know, and He has power to do what needs done. Humility will lead us to appreciate Him, trust His will, and give Him the glory, rather than exalting self.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, WE CARRY ALL OUR BORDEN ON YOU, PLEASE HELP US TO BEAR THEM ALL AND GIVE US MIND TO TOTALLY DEPEND ON YOU IN JESUS NAME.

RECOGNISING OUR SINFULNESS.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: RECOGNISING OUR SINFULNESS.

Luke 18:9-14

A Pharisee trusted in himself that he was righteous, prayed with himself, thanking God he was better than other people. Note the Pharisee's emphasis on self, exaltation of self, and his failure to see his sins.

The Publican pleaded for mercy admitting he was a sinner. Note the conclusion in v14 - One who exalts self will be abased, one who humbles self will be exalted!

Humility is the opposite of self-exaltation and self-righteousness.
A preacher once preached a sermon on this story and afterward a man prayed, "Lord, we thank thee that we are not proud like that Pharisee"! He was doing the very thing he was saying he was not doing! We are all sinners.
We have no right to look down on anyone as if we deserve salvation because we are so good, and they don't deserve it. We can be more righteous than the Pharisee, but only by humbling ourselves like the publican and calling on God to forgive us.

1 John 1:8,10
If we say we have not sinned, we are liars. We are all sinners, and often need forgiveness. We all deserve to be punished for our sins. We have hope of salvation only by God's gracious willingness to forgive. We are no better than the Pharisee or publican, in the sense we are all sinners.

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, FORGIVE US ALL OUR SINS AND CLOTH US WITH YOUR SPIRIT OF TRUTH AND HUMBLENESS IN JESUS NAME.

MEEKNESS & HUMILITY

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: MEEKNESS & HUMILITY

This is an extremely difficult word to translate into English, because we think "meek" implies weakness. Sometimes it is translated (NKJV) "gentleness," but that also implies weakness.

The best way to know the meaning of a word is to study passages where it is used. As we do, we will see meekness is an attitude or quality of heart [1 Peter 3:4] whereby a person willingly accepts and submits without resistance to the will and desires of someone else.

The meek person is not self-willed - not continually concerned with self, his own ways, ideas, and wishes. He is willing to put himself in second place and submit himself to achieve what is good for others. Meekness is the opposite of self-will, self-interest, and self-assertiveness.
This is a sign, not of weakness of character (as some think), but of strength. It requires great self-control to submit to others.

HUMILITY
This is an attitude or quality of mind [Acts 20:19] whereby a person holds low esteem or opinion of his own goodness and importance. Spiritually, one abases himself because he realizes his sinfulness and therefore he is willing to depend on God to meet His needs. It is the opposite of pride, haughtiness, and self-exaltation.

Friends that you are humble and milk didn't make you a dummy, people may call you name but in the sight of God you are giant, hero and honourable. If you are evil, pride and arrogant you may gain the world attention but be worthless in God's sight.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, GIVE US YOUR HUMBLE AND MILK SPIRIT AND LET YOUR LOVE BE SEEN ON US IN JESUS NAME.

THE WAY OUT FROM PRIDE ATTITUDE

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE WAY OUT FROM PRIDE ATTITUDE

First, we need to recognize and believe that we are nothing in ourselves.

“For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it?” 1 Cor. 4:7

Paul is saying that everything we have has come from somewhere beside ourself.
At first, this may seem untrue but a closer examination will reveal that it is in fact, true.

Where did we get our education? From someone else. Where did we get our intelligence? From the creator. Why are we living in our country where there is opportunity for prosperity and freedom? Someone else dictated that. This should be a humbling experience when we realize that everything, and I mean everything has come to us, even our very life itself. When we see this truth it should make us humble and not proud. Jesus spoke of this in the beatitudes.

“Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 5:3

Being poor in spirit means the very thing I have been talking about here. It is an understanding that changes us into a humble person. In fact the real way up in this life and the life to come is humility.

”For whosoever exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.” Luke 14:11

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, BREAK ME DOWN AND MODE ME TO WHAT IS GOOD TO YOUR GLORY AND MY FAVOUR IN JESUS NAME

Pride

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Pride

“When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.” Proverbs 11:2

“Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.” Proverbs 13:10

“A man’s pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit.” Proverbs 29:23

Pride is revealed in these verses as an element of human attitude that is destructive and negative. Isn’t this contrary to the way the world looks at things? It is true, the word of God does not line up with the ways of the world. However, some day the world will be gone but the word of God will still be around.

“Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.” Matthew 24:35

Pride is a false image of the real you and therefore can do nothing to bless you. Oh, you may fool some people to get what you want but rest assured they will find out in due time what you really are and then you will go down in their eyes. Pride is so destructive because it leads a man or woman into living a lie. I know, we are getting pretty heavy right at the first but the only way to deal with this subject is to get right to the point.
You can be free from the negative effects of pride and I pray that this lesson will help you to that end.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, TEACH ME TO LIVE RIGHTLY AND BE CONTEMPTED WITH WHOM YOU MAKE ME IN JESUS NAME. AMEN

Love at all time

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: LOVE AT ALL TIME

1 John 4:11 KJV
Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

You want to love others. You want people to love you. You want people to love you when you say and do good. You want people to love you when you say and do bad things. You want to know that you will be loved at all times. This is good.

You must love others in the same way. If you love others only when they do good to you then this is not true love. You want others to love you when you do bad things. You must love others when they do bad things. This is what we call loving someone at all times.
1 John 4:12 KJV
No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

There is only one person who loves you at all times. His name is Jesus. God the Father wants you to obey Him at all times. You know that you did not obey God the Father. This is called sin. You sin when you do not obey God. If you sin then you should die. You shamed God the Father. God the Father does not want you to die. He gave His son, Jesus Christ to die for you. Jesus loves you so much He died for your sin. You will not die now for your sin. Jesus died for you.

1 John 4:9 KJV
In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

Jesus loves you at all times. He loves you when you are good. He loves you when you are bad. Jesus loved you first. He wants you to love Him. He wants you to love Him with all your heart. He wants you to love Him with all your mind. He wants you to love Him with all your strength.

Jesus will not say bad things about you. He will not make you feel bad. He will give you love. His love will make you feel good.

You can move from no love to love. You must ask Jesus to take away your sin. You must obey Jesus at all times. If you obey Jesus then you will feel God's love.

LET US PRAY
Dear Jesus, I want to love you. I want you to love me. Please forgive me of my sins. I give my heart and mind to you. In Jesus name Amen

Recovering lost love

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: Recovering Lost Love

1 John 4:19 KJV
We love him, because he first loved us.

Today's morning meal is for all who has been hurt, cheated, heart broken, forsaken, abandoned, divorced and mistreated, by their love ones

An old African proverb says: “If you want to go fast, walk alone. If you want to go far, walk with others.” We were created to be in relationship with others; to love, to laugh, and to live together. But, there are times in life’s journey that can be extremely lonely, especially if you gave your heart to another and that person mistreated you or ignored your gift.

When Losing Love Creates Deep Wounds

When we are hurt, we long for someone to take away the pain, sooth the wounds and offer us hope. Often, those longings go unsatisfied. In our attempts to find love, we give ourselves to others over and over only to be hurt more each time.

There is an answer to the pain of lost love and dashed dreams. Hope comes through Jesus Christ, the son of God. He offers healing for the wounds you feel right now. He offers to walk with you through difficult times and laugh with you when life goes well.

Why? Jesus understands that we live in a damaged world. He knows that you bear the pain of broken relationships and shattered dreams. Your pain matters to God. He wants to free you from the hurt that rules your life and love you unconditionally.

Jesus has the power to change your reality because He took the pain and shame of our sin at the cross. He rose from the dead with the promise that we can have new life in Him.

Christ’s love is perfect and never causes harm. His love is pure and healing, washing away the pain and heartache life has dealt us.

Life and love are gifts that are meant to be shared. Share your life with Christ and experience His love first hand.

LET US PRAY
“Dear Jesus, I am sorry for the wrong things I have done. My life has been filled with hurt, but I turn those hurts over to You. I want You to be Lord and Savior of my life. Please walk with me on life’s journey. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”

BE A FRIEND TO GET A FRIEND

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: BE A FRIEND TO GET A FRIEND

A true friend empowers you.

A true friend will help you do what you need to do.

They will seek to bring success to you.

We all have things in our lives that need to be addressed in order that we might be the success that God has in mind for us to be. Often, it will involve life change or character development. A true friend will help us.

This is the very best way to love. Put your life on the line for your friends." - John 15:13

Is it your desire to have a good friend who will help your destiny, are you tired of having enemy as friends?
Then be that kind of friend! Seek to relate to others in your life in such a way that you bring support, strength, and success to them!

Charlie brown asked Linus, "What would you do if you felt that nobody liked you?"

Linus responded, "Well Charlie Brown I guess I would take a real hard look at myself, ask if I am doing anything that turns people off, How can I improve myself? Do I need to change in some way? Yep that's my answer Charlie Brown."

Charlie Brown says, "I hate that answer."

You may hate Linus answer, too. But it is also God's answer. If I am to have friends, I must be a friend.

I went out to find a friend but could not find one there.

I went out to be a friend and friends were everywhere!

Who do you know who needs you to be a true friend to them today?

Someone who needs your support to help them do what they have to do.

Someone who needs your strength to help them do what they ought to do.

Someone who needs to be helped to succeed by doing what they need to do.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, MAKE ME A GOOD AND TRUE FRIEND TO PEOPLE THAT NEED MY FRIENDSHIP IN OTHER TO MAKE IT IN LIFE IN JESUS NAME

A TRUE FRIEND EXHORTS YOU.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: A TRUE FRIEND EXHORTS YOU.

Proverbs 17:17 KJV
A friend loveth at all times, and a brother is born for adversity.

A true friend will help you do what you ought to do.

They will seek to bring strength to you.

Other times in life, we find ourselves facing things we would really rather not have to deal with, but which we know we ought to deal with. Things that we may not fell we have the strength to face, but we nevertheless need to face.

It is at such times that a true friend shows his or her true colors. A true friend will seek to strengthen you so that you might tackle those difficult things in life that you know you ought to do, but cannot somehow find the strength to do.

General Ulysses S. Grant had a man who was a true friend to him like this. His name was John A. Rawlins. He was the General chief of staff. It was to Rawlins that Grant gave his pledge that he would abstain from alcohol. When he broke his pledge, Rawlins went to Grant and with great earnestness pleaded with him and successfully persuaded him to reaffirm his commitment to turning away from liquor.

Look back and front and tell me who are your friend? What have they done for you? How many time has you found yourself broken down and sick because of friend. It is time you wake up and chose your friends rightly, remember friend can break you and friends can make you.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST GIVE ME A FRIEND THAT WILL BE A BLESSING TO ME.

A friend

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: A FRIEND

"As iron sharpens iron, so one man sharpens another." - Proverbs 27:17 (NIV)

IN today's morning meal, I want us to think together about the aspect of true friendship. As our passage tells us, a true friend is one who builds you up. They will try to help you become a better person! how?

1. A true friend encourages you.

A true friend will help you do what you have to do!

They will seek to bring support to you.

Each of us has times in life when things come upon us that we wouldn't choose to go through, but we, nevertheless, have to go through. It is at times like that we need true friends. True friends who will encourage us and help us do what we have to do by supporting us in the midst of it all.

Often times, this doesn't even require us to say anything. It is simply enough that we are there.

There was a story I want to share with you.
A young boy was sent to the corner store by his mother to buy a loaf of bread. He was gone much longer than it should have taken him. When he finally returned, his mother asked, "Where have you been? I have been worried sick about you."

"Well," he answered, "there was a little boy by the side of the road with a broken bicycle who was crying. So I stopped to help him."

"I didn't know you knew anything about fixing bikes," his mother said. "I don't ," he replied. "I just stayed there and cried with him."

Encouragement means coming alongside to impart courage to another.
This is what a true friend does for us when we find ourselves facing things that we have to go through, whether we like it or not. They come alongside us to lend support to us.

A newspaper in England gave a reward for the best definition of a friend. Thousands answered, and the winning entry was this: "A FRIEND IS ONE THAT COMES WHEN EVERYONE ELSE GOES."

A true friend encourages you.
Who are your friends? What do you get from then. It is encouragement or discouragement? This new year you can chose your friend rightly and let some go.
Remember leaving some friends behind doesn't mean you don't love them, but you can't let them draw you back anymore, you have to move on.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST, GIVE ME A TRUE FRIEND THAT WILL BUILD ME UP AND SEPARATE ME FROM BAD ONES IN JESUS NAME.

PLEASING GOD THROUGH FAITH

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PLEASING GOD THROUGH FAITH

Luke 22 shows us an example of someone who had faith and pleased God. In verses 31 and 32 Jesus is talking to Peter before the crucifixion. “And the Lord said, Simon, Simon, behold, Satan hath desired to have you, that he may sift you as wheat: But I have prayed for thee, that thy faith fail not: and when thou art converted, strengthen thy brethren.”
Peter did blow it tremendously. He denied the Lord three times. He cursed and blasphemed God, and yet Jesus prayed that his faith wouldn’t fail.
Jesus’ prayers were always answered. Peter’s actions failed, but not his faith. If Peter hadn’t repented it would have killed him. He was restored to God and went on to become a pillar of the church.

Some of you may be thinking, This is great — I can live like the devil and still get what I want from God.” If you think that, I’d say you aren’t born again, because a Christian wants to please God. This word is for Christians who have a desire to serve God but who still sin. When that happens, you go on and catch up and stand there with confidence in your Savior. Your faith in Jesus pleases God. None of us get saved and head straight on the path to God. We bounce around, but we’re still heading in the general direction.

“To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved” (Eph. 1:6). You do please God through your faith in Jesus as your Savior, and you must perceive that you please Him.

LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS CHRIST PRAY FOR ME BEFORE THE DEVIL DESTROY ME IN JESUS NAME.

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PLEASING GOD II

This is exactly the point Paul is making in Romans 11:6: “And if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace. But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.”
That’s old English for saying, “It’s one way or the other but not a combination of the two.” We’re either saved by God’s grace through what Jesus did for us, or we’re saved by what we do without Jesus, but not a combination of the two. The choice should be the obvious.

Elijah is an example of a great man who lived a holy life and didn’t earn God’s pleasure with his actions. He made some serious mistakes. He ran in the face of persecution and became so depressed over it that he asked the Lord to kill him (1 Kin. 19).
The Lord gave him three direct commands in an audible voice (1 Kin. 19:15-16), and Elijah never did two. Most people would think God couldn’t have been pleased with Elijah, yet Elijah was translated.

Even though our heart conditions influence our actions, we all fail in our performance to some degree. Elijah did.

If God used performance as the basis of whether or not He was pleased with us, no one would ever pass the test. “If thou, LORD, shouldest mark iniquities, O Lord, who shall stand?” (Ps. 130:3).

So its not by our performances it's by faith in the Lord Jesus , trust we have in him and grace he has extended to us, so when you have this grace, don't misuse it just please him by doing what is right

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME
TAKE SELF AWAY AND MAKE MY WAY PLEASING TO YOU

Pleasing God

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: PLEASING GOD

Very few believers actually believe that they are pleasing to God. Most feel some degree of forgiveness and maybe acceptance, but to think that the Lord is actually pleased with us is another matter. A person can choose to love you because of his or her own goodness, but to be pleased with you, they actually have to like your performance. Right?

With God, no one could ever be pleasing to Him based on performance. His standard is perfection, and no goodness on our part can ever compensate for our sins. We may please man with our actions, but “all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Rom. 3:23). It takes the precious blood of Jesus to do that.

The way we receive the forgiveness that’s available through Jesus’ blood is by faith (Rom. 10:9-17). When we put our faith in Jesus as our Savior, we are pleasing God. Hebrews 11:6 says, “But without faith it is impossible to please him.”

Faith comes from the heart (Rom. 10:10), and God looks on the heart — not the actions (1 Sam. 16:7). Of course, God sees our actions and will deal with us about them, only because they are inseparably linked to our hearts (Prov. 23:7).

It’s our hearts that really concern God, and faith in Him (trust, reliance) is what He is searching the heart for.
It’s not a case of those who act the best will get accepted, and those who act the worst get rejected. That would put some of the followers of other religions ahead of many Christians, but that is not what the Bible teaches.

This is the logic friends
All what you and me need is to get our heart right with God. When your heart is right with God, you will know his will and want to do his will and when you are doing his will, you will be far from sin and close to holiness, so no place for evil thought or evil doing.

LET US PRAY
Dear Lord Jesus Christ, help us to please you this year and give us a new heart of righteousness. In Jesus name.

God's Plan for Prosperity ii

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: GOD'S PLAN FOR PROSPERITY II.

Here is ''god's plan for prosperity''. And I want you to see it here in the book of proverbs, chapter 28, and verse 13, ''he that covereth his sin shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.''

''he that covereth his sin shall not prosper.'' now, let me tell you, ladies and gentlemen, the reason that we don't prosper is very simple: there's unconfessed sin in our hearts and in our lives. It's just as plain as that, and just as simple as that.

''he that covereth his sin shall not prosper.'' I could turn it around and read it this way: ''he who uncovers his sin shall prosper.'' ''he that covereth his sin shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.''

We have a little saying: ''to err is human, to forgive is divine'', and that is true.
But I think we could also say, ''to err is human, and to try to cover it up is human also.'' isn't that right? Huh, we, we try to cover up our sin, when we sin. ;'and someone else has said, ''he who falls into sin is a man. He who grieves over his sin is a saint.
He who boasts of his sin is a devil now, if you're a saint, you may sin. But if you are a saint, you will grieve over that sin, and you'll want to do something about that sin.

This year 2016 is a promising year for me and you if we can just confess our sins and forsake them surely we shall be in prosperity,

LET US PRAY
FATHER IN JESUS NAME, LET YOUR BLOOD WASH AWAY OUR SINS AND LET YOUR PROSPERITY FALL ON US IN JESUS NAME.

God's Plans for Prosperity

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: God's Plans for Prosperity.

Proverbs 28:13.

''GOD has a way to health, wealth, and wisdom''.
Are you interested in being prosperous? I hope you are. God is interested in your being prosperous. Did you know that the bible says that God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants? That God is pleased when you're prosperous?

God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants. As a matter of fact, in psalms, chapter 1. The bible speaks of a righteous man who's ''like a tree planted by the rivers of water''. And the bible says, concerning that type of man, and whatsoever he doeth,'' shall ''prosper. '' whatever he does shall prosper!

What is God's plan for prosperity?

And what is prosperity?

Well, that doesn't mean, necessarily, you're going to be wealthy. Many of you, when you hear it's God's plan for prosperity'', you think that means I'm going to have a lot a money.''
you may have more money than God can trust you with right now.

Eh, we're not talking primarily about money, when we're talking about prosperity. If you think that we're talking about that, you really don't understand the intent of the bible, nor the meaning of the biblical word ''prosperity''.
Prosperity means that you live a, a life of general welfare, where God meets your needs, and that you are being fulfilled, and enjoying the blessings of God. That is what the bible teaches that is prosperity.

"Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith", Matt. 8:26.

(Ill. What He says to us is that He is the Lord and that He is greater than any problem we have ever or will ever face in life. His desire is that we simply learn to take Him at His Word and trust Him. We need to remember that what the Lord has promised to do, He will do, Rom, 4:21)
