TOPIC: JESUS CHRIST WILL RETURN
TEXT: Revelation 3:3 “Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore thou shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief, and thou shalt not know what hour I will come upon thee.”
In this passage, the church in Sardis is being addressed. They are being told that even though they have deeds, and they have a reputation for being alive, they are dead.
Then they are told to wake up and strengthen what remains and is about to die.
This is a church that at one time was on fire for God and made His priority it’s priority. But they have lost their fervor. They have decayed and even what remains is dying.
Jesus is saying to us too today WAKE UP! We do not know when He is coming! It is dangerous for anyone to be sleeping spiritual, We have to be watching and waiting.
E. Luke 12:35-46
Do we feel far from Jesus and spiritually stagnant? Remember Christ’s return and be more closer to him, please don't be weary and don't be discouraged, all shall be well in Jesus name.
LET US PRAY
DEAR LORD JESUS KEEP ME AWAKE AND KEEP MY SPIRITUAL LAMP BURNING TILL YOU COME IN JESUS NAME.
