TOPIC: KEEP WATCH

Matthew 25:13 - "Therefore keep watch, because you do not know the day or the hour." We don't, do we? We know it's soon. But we do not know the time.

Someday soon Jesus will come in the clouds of glory. If the lamp of God's word burns bright in our heart and the light of Jesus shines out of our heart and the Holy Spirit lives in extra measure in our heart, we will get to go in to the banquet.
What a feast that will be.

Matthew 8:11 - "Many will come from the east and the west and will take their places at the FEAST with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob in the kingdom of heaven."

I want to be at that feast. I want to be there. You're going to hear a 10,000 angel choir sing. The Saints will go marching in. I want to be one of those saints. Food like we have never seen will be spread on the silver table that stretches for miles in God's outdoor banquet room. Jesus will be there to welcome us.
Let's make sure we are there.

How do we get access to that grand festival?

What made the wise virgins wise? (Because they did go in to the wedding banquet) The extra depth of relationship. The full reserve of oil.
If the oil light on the dashboard of your religious life is blinking, you need to immediately stop and you need to get a fresh supply of oil. You will be saved if like the wise virgins you have a extra depth in your relationship with Jesus. A full complete supply of the Holy Spirit in your heart. A full reserve of oil.

Surrender your will to Jesus.
Repent of your life of sin.
Ask Jesus to forgive you.
Accept Jesus as your own personal Saviour.
Trust in Jesus for evermore.
"For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved." - John 3:17

Jesus is the Way to the banquet. He is your ticket. Be sure you have a rich, deep hold on Jesus Christ, that He's in your heart, in the depths of your heart and someday you're going to see that homeland over there, over yonder. Get ready now and stay prepared. It won't be long and we will see Jesus face to face. Our homeland is heaven. Soon we will sit by that crystal sea in that homeland over there.
