THE KISSES OF JUDAS

IOI CHRISTIAN MORNING MEAL

TOPIC: THE KISSES OF JUDAS

TEXT: Matthew 26:48-49 KJV
Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast. [49] And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

When Judas kissed Jesus, he became guilty of one of the greatest sins of all time.

Kissing is suppose to be a kind of greeting from heart, 2Cor 13:12.
Kissing from a loved one motivate and give courage to a discourage soul.
Kissing activate mind to be sound.
Kissing make a rejected one to feel real loved.

But in the cases of Judas, kissing was a betray of trust, Deadly, deception and wicked.

This man Judas had walked with Jesus for three years. He saw Jesus walk on water, feed the multitude with just a few pieces of bread and fish, raise Lazarus from the dead, and yet, even after all of this, he had never been born again—he never received Christ into his heart. And so he betrayed the Lord for 30 pieces of silver.

Brethren this morning I want you to wake up to reality of people like Judas around us. Whom their kisses is only to kill us spiritually or even physically.

Beware of Judas kisses
Beware of fake love
Beware of bad friends in sheep's clothing.
Beware of evil member, workers, and follower.

Proverbs 27:6 KJV
Faithful are the wounds of a friend; but the kisses of an enemy are deceitful.

Psalm 5:9 KJV
For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

LET US PRAY
EVERY EVIL POWER AIMING AT KILLING MY GLORY. DIE BY FIRE IN JESUS NAME.
